Hello, Hope y'all are doing well. I just got a few patterns off of Etsy to make dresses for my Raccoon doll. I'm very new to sewing and have never made doll clothes. I know I can resize patterns and that's why I got these because they are for Iplehouse F.I.D (old body) with medium size bust. My raccoon doll is the glamorous body with the large bust. I am trying to find the F.I.D measurements so I can try converting them but I'm having a hard time finding them for some reason. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks
Thank you so much! I hadn't even realized that was a section lol. Even though I've been a member for a long time I haven't gotten into using this site that much yet. I want to use it more now that I've started up the hobby again. I really appreciate the help!
When you resize the pattern I would recommend using the high bust measurement to resize the pattern. That way you won't make the shoulder area too big. After the resize, you will have to make the front pattern piece wider across the bust to accommodate the larger bust and then make larger darts (than the original pattern) to fit the larger bust. You might look up "full bust adjustment" here is a example The Beginner’s Guide: Full Bust Adjustment
