Resin Comparison Resinsoul Tans Comparison

Hello happy people!

I just got a cute head from an artist creator, and I need to match him to a body! He's way too dark for the Resinsoul Light tan, but the pics I'm seeing online make it seem like their Dark Tan may work! Does anyone have some comparison pics of the Resinsoul Light and Dark tans so I can get a better idea of exactly how much darker/differently colored their dark is?

I've seen that before, but the pictures of actual dolls I've seen in Dark tan look different, which is why I was hoping for some recent photos.

It's just a smidge too dark and has a bit more pink tone to it, I think.

 

@crimsonmiko Yeah, the picture of the doll looks lighter, and like it might match my head close enough. The sample swatches are kinda different looking.

@meanae I know, I just wanted to see if I could work with the dark tan. Guess I'm a little nervous about going to the hardware store to match paint chips to the headcap, then sending them to China.

 

Yeah, I'm a bit paranoid about sending out the headcap, with how mail's been lately, so I figured I'd resort to palette matching with paint chips if the dark tan isn't close enough. The owner photos I've seen seem like it would be a pretty decent match, but I'd prefer to see it relative to the light tan since I can directly look at that on my own Resinsoul body.

I'd also really not like to send out this headcap since this head is technically a miscast in a color not quite matching the artist's normal tan, so would be pretty hard to replace!

 

@Bristol He's a Valentine from Logan Dolls. They don't have many sculpts yet, since they're an independent artist, but I'm a big fan of what they have so far.

Oooh, that does look nice. It might just work, since it does have a bit of a pinker tone and isn't too much darker. I might end up ordering the body, and if it doesn't work out, order a head to go with it for later, since it's a color I like.
