66cm+ Dolls Resinsoul Rui and a Sui body

I've been desperately waiting for this order! It took almost exactly 3 months, including shipping which is very speedy!

And this white stuff...is mold/mildew. The box was damp. But it's fortunately only on this little bit and there was another inner layer of cardboard that was unaffected, but I'm airing out the carrying cases as a precaution.



I made an, er, interesting request of Resinsoul this time, but we'll start with the simpler one: a green Sui body, no wings or tail.

Nice surprise: they've still got the magnets in his back in case I want to make wings. This character was supposed to be a very buff lady, but now they might be a he. Got to make clothes.

HE'S SO PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL I COULD CRY. I love him. He's a Rui on the Long body, in purple with black marbling.

 

@MonochromeNocturne I was surprised they'd do it! And extremely grateful. This fine fellow is Endellion. He's a wizard, and the skin marbling comes from a magical mistake in the very beginning of his apprenticeship. He managed to merge the ink he was trying to transmute/imbue with himself. It lazily moves around and drifts without any conscious control. After a few decades he figured out how to undo it, but by then it was kind of his signature so he's kept it on as a unique mark. He's fairly vain so it took a lot for him to accept it at first, so he made himself love it.

 

@MonochromeNocturne Thank you! I'm still struggling with the wig and eyes. He has had short white hair, but now I see he looks good with dark...and eyes are always a struggle. He's rejecting the ones he was supposed to use.

@Mamo Resinsoul is one of the best companies out there! And they're so thorough, even his knees/elbows and internal chest piece are marbled! They really went above and beyond.

@Moonycat31 Yeah it's in the resin itself. I haven't put a drop of paint on him! It also goes all the way through; you can see he black bits on the inside of pieces!

@skyealloway Hecena is so awesome! I love yours with her pink iguana theme!

@capybunny the happy gasp was pretty much my reaction to seeing it as well. It was about 2 seconds between seeing and realizing I was going to buy. Then I needed an appropriate body, and Resinsoul to the rescue! I have no idea how the artists at Resinsoul managed it, but it really is so wonderful and drippy looking.

@Leo Pheonix Thanks! Customs really do add some spice to sculpts, especially ones that are more common.
