* What did you order?
Grey resin Yao with small bust.

* When did you order? I contacted Resinsoul through their email early April. I paid April 9th.

* Where did you order?
At ResinSoul.

* How was the communication?
Their shopping cart on the website does not work. I also tried the contact form on the website, but have never received a reply. I tried the email address listed on the website and receive a prompt reply within a day. All questions were answered and I ordered a Yao with a different bust than the doll has on the website without any issues.
It took a few days to receive confirmation that the payment I sent had been received.
Although I was promised one, I never received a message informing me that my doll had shipped and I never received a tracking number. I guess they forgot with my order and the doll just showed up one day.

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy with Paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
I have no idea when the doll shipped as I never received a shipping notice, but the mail man tried to deliver the doll May 1st, so it took less than a month to ship the doll.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
I'd say the company pictures aren't very flattering and the doll itself looks much better.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes. It had a rough patch on the face that was easily removed with sanding paper. Other than that the doll was fine.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

* What did you order? Green skinned Mei with faceup

* How was the communication? Great! They emailed me the night of my order to say they'd rec'd it and estimated she'd take about 30 days, and again to let me know she'd shipped.
* How easy was it to pay? Extremely easy. I just used paypal through the shopping cart on their site.
* How long did it take to ship? She was shipped on July 12th and got here on the 16th (so the total time estimate of 30 days was quite accurate!)
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes. You expect some issues with such an inexpensive doll, and she needed restringing right away; but her finishing is lovely and smooth and her color could not be prettier. Once restrung she was nice and steady. Also, she came with two pairs of eyes!
* Did the item look like the sales pictures? She looks better, actually.
* Were you satisfied with the product? Yes, quite.

4-communication was really good I asked for her free eyes to be blue and they sent her with yellow with a free gift of blue eyes and about 4in. of eyelashes
5-It was very easy to pay I clicked check out on my cart filled out the 3-4 section payment form and that was it
6-My doll got to me around 10am exactly 2 months/8 weeks to the day after I ordered it
7-The quality was really good better than I thought it would be actually
8-The item looked just like the pictures very beautiful
9/10-I was very satisfied with the product but I did notice a mark on her face that wasn't suppose to be there I being a new buyer choked it up to be dirt or a scuff mark from transport and with a good cleaning it would go away but after many failed attempts I realized it was a sanding error/mark due to it being a few weeks since I opened the doll I decided not to report the issue also I believe a good face up will make the mark disappear due to the marks seemingly invisable appearance to begin with.
11-I would most definitely order from this company again.

Shipped 4th March. Delay was because of the Chinese New Year holiday, and I was warned by Sun beforehand. The problem occurred after my boy shipped. RS's website is a pain to understand, so I guess I never gave them the name of my city. My doll took 20 days to ship, which I guess is because of the lack of city name. I was in constant contact with Sun, who promised to send me a new doll if mine didn't show up.

Yes, it's even better!

RS's pictures don't do their dolls any justice, they're beautiful dolls.

What did you order? I ordered Resinsoul Mei (head) on the double-jointed mature bust female body (aka "Rong" body) in normal skin, and Resinsoul Song (head) on the single-jointed boy body

When did you order? I placed my order, by email, on August 1st, 2013

Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer? I ordered directly from the company, through email correspondence with their Customer Service Representative (CSR), Sun.

How was the communication? Communication with Sun was fantastic, he answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and even added two items to my order the day after I placed it.

How easy was it to pay? Payment was very easy, to their customer service email by PayPal. I was even able to make lay-away payments!

How long did it take to ship? I placed my order on August 1st, finished my lay-away on Friday October 4th, and my order shipped about 5 days later on October 9th or 10th. I received my order on the morning of October 17th, so shipping took about a week - VERY quick!

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? The quality was a lot better than I expected for the price - I honestly thing Resinsoul could get away with charging more for their dolls, but I'm glad they don't because it make it easier to add more to my collection!

Did the item look like the sales pictures? My dolls look better than the sales pictures. I don't think the sales/company photos do their sculpts justice, these are GORGEOUS dolls

Were you satisfied with the product? I'm incredibly satisfied with my dolls. The only little hiccup was the items I had added to my order (Mei's faceup and a pair of Mai hands) were left out of the initial shipment.

If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? After discovering that my Mei had come blank and that one of the pairs of hands I ordered for my boy were missing, I emailed their CSR. He responded to me the next morning saying they would ship me another Mei head with the faceup done and the missing pair of hands - the items arrived about 2 weeks later!

Would you order from this company again? Absolutely. I plan to get some dark grey elf-eared dolls from them in the future, I just can't decide which sculpts. I'm not sure if I want to get Mei and Song again, or if I'm going to get a male and female Ju.

Would you buy this company's products second-hand? If the doll suited my condition requirements, then definitely.

First off i can not say enough goods things about my experience with them. they are so nice and very accommodating. they had no hesitation to do a custom make up for me on the extra pieces i ordered.

* How was the communication? I didn't receive a shipping notice until I asked about it, a couple of days after the quoted 30 days for production time. However, they always replied to me within 24 hours.

* How easy was it to pay? Very easy, I used the shopping cart through the website. It can be a little confusing, but you can order through e-mail as well.

* How long did it take to ship? She was shipped June 21st, and arrived June 26th. Her box was a little crushed on one side, and the hook on her headcap snapped off due to it. It was an easy fix, so I didn't find it necessary to inform Resinsoul as that was the only issue.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Absolutely! She's a very beautiful doll, with no seams. Can't wait to give her a faceup.

Emails from the company were always prompt and helpful. Sun was very kind and fulfilled all my requests. She's awesome!

They sent me an email with the total and their paypal address. Payment couldn't be easier.

* How long did it take to ship?
The doll was shipped on January 23rd, and arrived on January 30th (2015). I had told them to take their time otherwise I'm sure they would have sent the item earlier.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
I had heard bad stories about Resinsoul dolls' resin. They say the quality is poor but I don't think so. I find the quality of their resin excellent, a lot better than expected! There's no thinness of the resin around the eyes or ears and the doll is fully sanded. Also I can pose him very well and he can sit and stand without problems. Resinsoul generally ships their doll strung stlighly loose to prevent damages, mine was strung pretty tight instead, which saved me the hassle of restringing him. The doll came with a carrier and a cushion, I guess one can't ask for more for such a low price.

Their dolls look a lot better in real life than in pictures! I knew that already but still I was surprised when I opened the box, the doll was much better than expected!

Very satisfied, I couldn't ask for better.

The quality and price don't compare. My doll is so, so beautiful. I'm finding it hard to believe how much she cost because the quality is so great.

The sales pictures for Resinsoul are terrible, and I knew the doll would look better in real life, but I was still surprised at how wonderful it looked.

* How easy was it to pay? Very easy, I used Paypal, although Paypal held my money because they thought it was a suspicious purchase.


* How long did it take to ship? She shipped May 15 and arrived on May 19, so...what, five weeks?


* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Absolutely!! She's massive and her elf ears are dense, I have no worries about her ears chipping or breaking, same with her fingers. She IS strung super tight and is very kicky though, but I wasn't surprised by this, since she has to be strung like that for shipping. She also came with a very nice carrying case, which I didn't expect. Now I don't have to shell out $50+ for one!


* Did the item look like the sales pictures? She looks far more beautiful in real life than the sales pictures. She seems to transform emotions depending on how you look at her. I'm smitten!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I might not have all the experience some others have in order to judge and compare, since she's my first doll, but she seems like great quality to me. Her skin is soft, there is no seamline whatsoever, and she comes with a pair of eyes as well as a carrying case which is absolutely fantastic. The stringing was very tight in the arms and a bit too lose in the legs but once that fixed, all was great.

* How was the communication? Communication was pretty good! I emailed Sun asking about shipping price before I ordered the doll, and I got the reply back within 24 hours. I also got an email when they received the order, and again when the doll was shipped.
* How easy was it to pay? Used Paypal, so it was super easy.
* How long did it take to ship? I got the email that it shipped on December 1st and the doll arrived on December 4th, so it only took 3 days. Super fast! Everything arrived in the same box.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Absolutely! The purple eyes they gave her go well with the pink wig, and her overall quality seems really awesome to me! She stands up and poses pretty well, and her faceup looks good. Plus the free carrying case was really neat, as well as they added some eye putty to go with the two pairs of eyes I ordered with it.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Way better! The sales pictures really don't do the product justice.

Amazing. Sun replies within a day and the English is not bad at all. I had a special request, which was to get the Rong body instead of the single jointed one, which was handled perfectly.

* How easy was it to pay?
Super easy. I used paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
It took a bit over a month.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes! Flynn is amazingly built, especially for a cheap price.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
They could really work on this. Their sales pictures do not show the dolls in too great of a light.

I did request blue eyes but they gave me yellow, I told them about it and they said they hoped they could make it up to me next time I bought something, lol. It wasn't really a big deal, though.

Their shipping time is extremely quick and not that expensive, so I'd rather order direct.

* How long did it take to ship? He was here in 5 days from when Sun emailed me with the tracking number. EMS apparently hands it off to Canada Post and then it comes express. There were no customs or duty charges. They marked the value at $18 tho, that could have been an issue if there had been a problem with shipping. Luckily no such issues.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Oh my yes. He's so much prettier than I was expecting! He's sanded beautifully and so soft. Even the tiny joints on the hands had no seams whatsoever. The blush on the hands is a bit darker than the face, but that can be fixed.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? So much nicer! I was worried about his mouth looking a bit too smiley but he's much better in person. They need some better pics on their website.

* Were you satisfied with the product? No. I received a doll that appeared to be a miscast. It had multiple flaws, very crooked feet so it could not stand at all (apparently due to extremely uneven shrinking of the parts in the casting process), very thin resin around the eyewells, headcap that did not fit etc. I thought it might have been sent out by mistake as it was the Christmas time and probably more work than normally, mistakes can happen...

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I sent an email with a list of problems that I had with my doll, and Sun assured me that whatever the problem, they will find a solution for it, and he asked me to send photos. After I sent photos, no further questions were asked. They apologized, and produced a new doll which was sent to me free, meaning they payed even shipping for me. I could keep the first doll as well... The second doll was flawless, just very tightly strung, "kicky" but I don't see a problem with that. The resin quality is superb, it's texture is very smooth and it has absolutely no seam lines. Symmetry is very good, and she has no trouble with standing up.
Now as a compare them, I can see that the first doll has yellowed quite noticeably and unevenly, while the second one still looks like new, both have been stored and handled exactly the same way by me. This means that the first doll indeed was not produced just one month before the second one, but most likely a few months earlier, and looks like it has been handled (a lot) because the torso part has yellowed more than other parts.
It was quite a stressful process of getting my first doll, but the company handled it according to the highest standards of customer service, and it all ended well. Now I have "twins" because I'm not rejecting the first flawed doll, instead I can practice resin modding on her, and try as much as I can fix some of her flaws.

No, they look better! I had heard that RS doll bodys look thicker in person and that's 100% true. And their face in profile looks very dramatic and pointy in the pictures on the site but it's much flatter in person which I love.
* Were you satisfied with the product? The Xun body is different from the Shi body and has a MUCH larger chest than I was expecting which I'm not a fan of. And the light tan is lighter than I wanted, it looks darker in pictures than in person. But I still love them!

I have nothing to compare her to, but I'm extremely satisfied with the feel of the resin. I was worried she'd be shiny, but she's wonderfully matte and smooth. The only thing I hate is how tightly strung she is!

Body looks the same - very pretty, slender and delicate. I was pleasantly surprised by the head! The promo photos don't do her justice!
* Were you satisfied with the product? I am extremely satisfied! I ordered Shi's body because I thought Xun comes with transparent resin by default (not true) and I'm so happy I did so! Xun's breast are very very big and I much prefer the body I have.

The body is actually a bit more stable than my Xun body, I didn't have to suede to get her to stand properly. The whole body, including shipping, was only 179$.
