So they basically set it up for you then? That's awesome~ I love how flexible RS is.

 

Sun at resinsoul is incredibly flexible. I just ordered a Ya (Mei with human ears) on her normal torso with Rong's arms and legs. I did just what Girrl mentioned, I e-mailed the company with my request and she had me send my order details over e-mail (address and whatnot) and then I just payed her directly through paypal. I'm very impressed with resinsoul's customer service.

 

You can do the same through Junkyspot as well.

 

Though with Jspot from what I heard can take awhile since Emory does Bulk orders through the companies when he does this. I second going through RS direct myself, I ordered a Bei (OT for this thread) with their Zi body in LT and faceup. Seamless and perfect.

 

Yes this is true just saying there are options. Emory and Sun both are great to communicate with.

No, Dorian Gray is still with us (and just peed next to the litter box because he's angry I cut his nails. Jerk.) This is the bunny we lost earlier this year. I don't have any pictures of her with an doll for this thread, sadly.

Girrl~ :/ Sorry, I guess cus you posted your little grey bunny I associated his pic with the bunny that had died. I hope he shapes up and stops peeing where he aught not. Our remaining cat is a butt like that too. He voices his displeasure with the state of the litter by pooping next to it... Even if it's clean.

Does anyone have a gray and a lilac/purple doll to put next to each other? I can't seem to decide between those two. Sometimes gray looks a lot like lilac and lilac looks like gray in some photos, so I just want to see which one's the lighter x) Also, when I google resinsoul gray, I get some pictures of "dark gray", but can't seem to find it on Resinsoul's homepage. Is it like dark tan, that you have go e-mail order?

Indigoparaflax~ Thanks for the condolences, We're slowly healing up but he was a very special animal and he was very much so cut short. To answer your other questions... Yes Dark grey is like the tan in that it requires you to Email sun. Grey is the lightest and lavender is lighter than the dark grey. The lavender is actually quite purple, it just is difficult to photograph.

 

So sorry you have lost a pet, Lynn Nexus. That is never easy.

My grail mini dolly is whole, and now I just have to figure out how on earth I am going to faceup and wig her! Here's a shot of her with my first attempt to match the resins, which did not work as nice as a wanted and got wiped. I am trying wigs and things on her but it's so hard...

 

The dark grey and lilac really do vary batch to batch...my dark grey I think is a little darker than that and some of the newer lilac dolls are quite purple...I have 2 lilac dolls and while the newer SD one is slightly more purple than the older MSD lilac I've seen ones that were even more purple. I think its really hard to capture the colors just right.

Rosslyn what body did you try to hybrid? white can be difficult though you'd think it wouldn't but some companies have either a more cream white or pinkish white.
From your photo it doesn't look so bad maybe the right faceup will equally it out better.

 

Rosslyn~ No it's not. I'm rather thankful atm that we still have his brother. While his brother is a butt head... He seems to be trying to be nice to everyone which is more than I could say for him before his brother passed.

I just ordered my fourth Resinsoul guy! OuO I really have very little planned for him, but it will be awesome nevertheless. Especially since I ordered him in gray skin It feels as though it's too easy to get caught in the Resinsoul Fever, and I already dream of an MSD-army with tonnes of different colours and styles :3 With this guy I'll have one in NS, one in coffe and one in gray next time it'll be blue and the time after that white and then lilac and then... ooooh, so much fun!

I'm very with you on how easy it is to get caught up in RS's stuff. They're like chips you know? I already have a whole slew of colors... dark Grey, dark tan, light tan, light blue, purple, yellowed white... And then I have pink, green, another purple, and red planned... for me it's a mix of attainability and options. With other companies you can't do things like order a single jointed body with the double jointed legs, or order a "female" head on a male body and vise-versa. Now that they've got the fantasy parts it just opens up a whole world of possibilities.

On another, more random note, I was curious if Tang has the same deal as the Sui on the top of the thigh... Picture reference of what I'm talking about below...

 

Oh, it's a Soom Adamelli body, and I've gotten it to match now, but I shot that pic before I was quite done because I just couldn't wait! Blushing is tricky, so next time I have to redo her, I may just try what I've done with other Soom white hybrids, which is dye the paperwhite resin to match Soom's ivory tone with some lemon yellow and a drop or two of apple green.

Moondust~ ^o^ Thank you!! I was hoping that they didn't have the latch... it's a great Idea in -theory- but Marius's latch is a little too far forward so yea, he doesn't fall over backwards... but he also has to stand a little leaned forward...

 

that thigh piece was pretty much the deciding factor why I didn't get Sui...though I kinda wishing I had when he was actually on sale...I'm not entirely sure why they made it like that doesn't seem to have any function.

 

I have no pictures of any of my pets with my dolls, I've been too afraid to let them nearby since they have a tendency to swat things off ledges... I should have taken a picture when Finn ran off with Merak's wig though. It was a fake fur wig and bright turquoise and it was obvious he thought it was a cat toy...

@indigoparaflax, oh no, I can feel the Resinsoul Fever catching! I was going to get a pair from DoD next but I keep seeing so many appealing RS dolls here...

 

this was when i first got my yao, she was my first doll, my cats had no idea what to think of her at first but took to her pretty quickly and surprisingly enough they have never tried to swat her (or any others for that matter) off the table or what have you. now i say surprising because if i leave anything on any surface in my house for even a short amount of time they just HAVE to knock it onto the floor, then wrestle over it... brats lol. i am afraid to leave my dolls standing anywhere out of catching range however because my cats try to nuzzle them and over they go. (in fact i took a diving leap right after i took this photo )

 

I keep my dolls up on a shelf my cat can't get to, since he loves my wigs. Hehe

So I Now Have A Small Layaway With Resinsoul For This Little Guy Who I Named Kenny. Excited For Him To Come Home. I Couldn't Make Up My Mind Between Song & Mai. So I Flipped A Coin, Lol. Next Time I'll Get Mai.

 

I've only taking 2 photos of my dolls with animals. Never thought to take a photo of any of them with my cat before she passed away...though she really didn't wander around and get into anything, definitely not my dolls since I always had them up and out of the way. But here is Nixique (bobobie sprite) when I first got here saying hello to Loki. He passed last October and I still bawl my eyes out at times he was only 8, my other doggie Kyra is 14 now I took a photo of her with Audryme once. I think cats are more curious about dolls and such than dogs because she is completely indifferent and I don't think she likes the smell of them..lol

 

I haven't been on at all recently, but I just paid off Michael, my tan An!! I'm super excited (as is Cordiel). DDE is still waiting on him to arrive, which will hopefully be soon (it's been about a month and a half since I ordered him). I'll do a box opening and photostory when he gets here!

I'm still kinda playing around with the idea of shelling my fraternal Drow twins at some point this year - a Ju on the Wu body and a Ju on the Rong body, both in dark grey ^^

I emailed Sun a month or two ago asking for photos (the two linked above are from Sun as well), and I looooove the one I got of the two dolls together ^^
They're white skin instead of the dark grey I want to get, but they're still GORGEOUS together (I love that they photographed them almost holding hands xD)

Kitty blue~ I'm actually pretty sure that's supposed to keep the doll from falling backwards with the wings on. Still it's a bit of a frustration since he doesn't quite stand straight. I've sanded Marius's back a bit and will probably go back and do it again before he's faced.

 

My girl has lost her head... It's off to FamiliarStranger to get some paint It's very odd having just a body.

bambistark I love the face up of Keanu. How do you managed that your boy holds this sitting pose? I tried it out with Leran (she has similar legs) but she falls backwards when I put one leg over the other.

 

Oh, jeeze, I don't have a pic of it, but about a week ago my husband's cat ran off with the hand of one of my OT dolls. Just pulled it right off, and ran. Because I took her to the vet to get her teeth cleaned and then they gave her an antibiotic shot.

I ordered mine through DDE at the beginning of May. Everyone who ordered direct around the same time got theirs 5 weeks later, I'm still waiting...... DDE is sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

 

Lerna- Your Yao is amazing! I love her face up and the work on her horns. Yao is my first and only bjd too. My girl is out for a face up right now, and I hope she comes back looking as good as your girl.
