Hybrids resinsoul/Bobobie hybrid requests!

Oh, wow. XD I very nearly bought an AOD body for my Momo head. Decided on DZ instead. And since AOD and DZ are the same color, I can tell you it would match! XD But that's all.

 

I have the bobobie doll that matches perfectly my CP Lu-wen head. I recommended it to my friend, but her's was more pink when it arrived. So yes, there is different patches on bobobie, they have more pinker one and more yellow one (I have this). My Moona (also casted by Bobobie) is also yellow one.

Maybe the pinky one would match AOD p-normal skin? They have two skintones nowadays.

 

SO A QUESTION:


I've decided I want a MSD elf to go with Indy. I love the Bobobie Song sculpt (he's so cuuuuuute ) but not so much the body. I've also been looking at the Karsh sculpt from Fairyland, and though their body is nicer, it's still not my fave.

Does anyone think either of those heads would look totally weird on a Dollzone MSD body? And if some one happens to own both a Dollzone and a Bobobie MSD, could you swap some heads around for pictures pretty please I'll love you forever~?

Resin matching isn't a problem because he's going to be dyed very, very dark. XD

Well, not sure how much help this is, but I do know that a BBB MSD girl head fits on a DZ MSD girl body just fine and looks normal. And a MNF boy head fits on the DZ girl body too with a bit of modding. (you need a neck piece of some sort) And I'm sure my BBB head could fit on the MNF body if I removed the MNF's neck piece and strung it with a normal s-hook. I can take some pictues if you want....but I don't know the size differences between girl and boy BBB heads. :P

 

I don't know about Bobobies, but I have THREE Minifee heads using a Dollzone boy body right now. Just buy the Minifee neckpiece (either from Fairyland for $10 - the leader of a group order I'm in ordered one for me) or post a WTB on the marketplace. There are other ways to do it, but that's the best and easiest. The Dollzone NS-Yellow matches the Minifee NS resin well. You can look at my albums for pics of Kale, Kestrel and Simon, they're all sharing the same Dollzone body at the moment.

I also have a Minifee head (my Scar Shiwoo, Ruth) on an older Soulkid girl body, again using the neckpiece.

Hi, I just took these pictures and I hope they help someone out. These are pictures of my Kid Delf Bory head on a Resinsoul Lan body. Both are naturalskin, but the match isn't very good. RS is much darker and pinker.

 

Would love some comparisons on both resin and general compability on Resinsoul MSD and SoulDolls Soul-Kids.

I love D. Maillo, but I don't know if I like SoulDolls' bodies, so I'd rather go for a body I find cuter, and won't have to pay as much for *cheapskate*

So, if you have any Souldoll and Resinsoul in MSD-size, doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl, I'd love to see how they look :>
Resin colour doesn't matter that much, since I havn't decided on what skintone he should be yet x)

Hitting both hybrid threads to cover my bases:
Request: I'd like to see a head that wears 6-7 wigs on a Resinsoul Bao (28cm boy) body. Resin match does not matter- I just want to see the amount of bobble going on. Or a picture of a Bao next to a doll that wears a 6-7 wig, as long as they're together I can photoshop.

And in return, my MNF Shiwoo/Resinsoul Ming hybird (I had him airbrushed to match)

 

Hi everyone! Does anyone here have a picture of a NS Minifee next to a tan BBB/RS doll? I was thinking, since the RS NS is paler and pinker than the Minifee, maybe the tan might match better. What do you think?

 

For anyone that had this question... Yellowed ResinSoul white will match a dollzone white fairly nice. As a matter of fact, in my particular case, the head matched the dollzone better than his original un-blushed body.

The headcap is stained somewhat grey-ish from his wig, and slightly less yellow.

I'm actually really curious about this resin match! I have a new 2011 Resinsoul NS head and I'm looking around for a mature male MSD body (double jointed is a HUGE plus)! I was thinking either Luts or souldoll, but any help would be GREATLY appreciated! >_<

 

I would definitly image it will match very nicely. I have a white resinsoul body with soom hands in ws and dollzone headin ws and the resinsoul is a tad lighter than the hands and head. The body is brand new and extremly white. If it was a bit older I would imagine that it would indeed be an absolutely great match.

 

Nope, not really. It's not too far off, I think it could be blushed to match, but the RS tan is definitely darker. My RS Li is light tan, my MNF Ryeon is NS.

I know that this thread is mostly RS/BBB hybrids with other dolls, and someone point me in the right direction if I've missed it, but I really just want to know if anyone knows if the BBB Apollo head fits on any taller bodies? I know he is a 60cm but I was wondering if anyone has ever found a taller body that his head fits on or if he fits on the RS 70cm body? I love love love that head sculpt but I'm looking to make an exceptionally tall character. So really even if the body looks kind of gangly with the head that would be fine so long as they were still 'in proportion' (the head didn't look WAY too tiny on it).

Again, if I'm in the wrong place point me elsewhere. I've just been trying for ages to find the right place to ask this and this thread looks a bit promising I hope.

 

Heres Elumi my Resin Soul mei on a Minifee body both are white skin. its a very nice match. The head dosent sit right on the neck but you cant really tell. hopefully soon i will get a head for her rs body some thing that looks young and cutesie

Hi, i even post in a diff forum about what if i hybrid my this doll head asleep eldolon head female neck is 9.5cm to my bobobie dai body her neck size for it 9cm. would it fit to my bobobie dai body i also have other doll head i soon going to buy and is perfect match is 9cm (in mint on cards).

Resinsoul Dong NS on a Jie Doll NS SD body. Bright room light, no flash.


And him again on a 2009 Crobidoll SD NS, natural outdoor light, match is almost perfect.

His head seems to fit quite well on the 60cm dolls, since he is supposed to be a 70cm.

 

Hey guys, thought it wouldn't hurt to ask if anyone knew if Ringdoll Normal would look good with Resinsoul normal? I'm thinking of making a Pan/60cm boy body hybrid, as the Ringdoll Teen bodies are too tall for my character. I would really appreciate some help!

I just put my last payment on my soul doll shiva head and I'am desperate for awnsers!
on the soul doll website it says her neck girth is 8,8 cm and on the resinsoul website it says that the neck girth is 9-10 cm if I want to put my shiva head on a rs male body do I need to sand the neck down?
I really could use some advice thank you in advance!

 

Could you post a pic of what the head looks like on the neck? I'm curious about this combo as I'd like to get a mei and song but I dont really care for the RS bodies posing wise. If this could work with slight modding I'd be super happy

Hi guys! Does anyone have a Soom Super Gem head on a Resinsoul 60cm male body? I'm curious to know how it would look because I love that slender body for my elf character. Do you think it would look bobble-headed?
