Resin Comparison Recent Fairyland tan resin matches

Huajing tan is lighter but with body blushing it could be kind of sort of plausible as a match (comparison image here). They do have some extra tones available on their taobao, but I'm not super sure if there are more tans there.

Df-H does matching to what they have in their catalogue so it's worth checking if they have FL or a similar tan! Their own tan should be in the same ballpark with Huajing but I'm yet to see a photo of them side by side.

Impldoll does custom resin colours for an extra fee and so does the good ol' Resinsoul if you happen to like their bodies more than Fairyland's.

 

My doll Arthur has a Dream Valley body that's a decent match; it would be even closer to a 2021 FL tan (head is 2023, but I have older as well so that's how I know), but the opacity is different enough to be really obvious in person.

Dikadoll and DF-H both resin match, and their regular tans are nowhere close to FL. Same for Resinsoul. I've specifically asked Dika about FL tan and they've said yes, but it has to be a full body or at least five smaller parts to fill their minimum resin batch quantity. I haven't handled any of their female bodies, but the male ones I've handled are amazing.

I have some comparisons between Fairyland tan and DoDollsDream Teacup "Nostalgic Biscuit" which is very close to "Caramel Forest." I also have examples of "Caramel Forest" now as well, so I could take some more comparisons if that would help. In general, Fairyland's tan is noticeably redder (especially in natural light), but blushing would probably help a lot. There is also some texture difference, the Fairyland resin being more matte/opaque (as is the Teacup resin) and the 55cm dolls being cast in a slightly softer textured resin.

If you are interested, there will be a preorder for the 55cm ladies in April, and although the colors available usually vary, "Caramel Forest" seems to be pretty consistent across the preorders so far.

Good luck finding a body for your head! Most of my favorite doll heads don't have bodies right now so I sympathize with the search!

Nakana Workshop has a tan that's specifically meant as a match for Fairyland, and they've got 56cm and 60cm female bodies.
