I recently purchased quite a few Blythe dresses in the hope that they would fit my realfee and so I decided to do a little mini fashion shoot/fit review of what I've collected so far. My Pano (who came as the fullset boy but is going to be a girl) got here today so I've modeled them on both since there are differences between the female and male torso. I will start by saying that I've tried them all on with the fantasy parts but since they're all dresses (and 1 skirt) they would fit just as well on a completely human body as the area to fit is mostly the waist. I will say that as these are meant to fit over tiny blythe hips I didn't even try pulling them up over the legs and unhooked the bottom half, slipped the dresses up and then rehooked the legs back on. First is a dress that I got off of Mimiwoo's ebay although it doesn't seem to be available anymore. It originally came with a little blue shrug coat but I got rid of it because it was made with horrible polyester and I disliked it immensely. The dress itself fits both torso's nicely although the shoulder straps are a bit too long. I plan on shortening them so that they fit better. All of the rest of the dresses are from a recent taobao order although I've seen some of it also being sold on etsy. Dress from Miss Sugar: I purchased this in 2 colors, black and an aqua. It fits both very well, the key to getting it closed nicely in the back is to pull the velcro at the waistband closed first as it's tightest spot on the dress. Halter dress from IDollZoo: I only have the crimson pictured although I also have it in black and had purchased lavender but gave it to a friend as the color complimented her ns May so nicely. This one fits great although it was a tight squeeze on the male torso for the bottom snap. cont....
Dress from The Bear: This one is cute but doesn't close in the back on the female torso so I didn't even try it on the male torso. I'm thinking I'm going to trade out the velcro for a different type of closure so it's wearable. Outfits from Flower Journey(?): The Rabbit dress fit very nicely on both and the fabric is super cute. Even though it's a slightly thicker fabric the tail magnets still worked just fine. The sweater outfit was a mixed bag, the sweater is perfect and super adorable! The skirt however is way too small at the waist and doesn't even come close to closing in the back. Part of the problem is that the waistband has absolutely no stretch so I'm thinking I'm going to rip out the waistband and put in an elastic one so it will fit. That's it for this round! I hope this was helpful and please let me know if you have any questions!
