Large RaccoonDoll Lara arrives

My final doll recently arrived and I just finished making her an
‘arrival’ gown in deep purple dance fabric. I’d adjusted my SID
pattern specifically for the lithe RD body.
I’m very happy with this lovely gal - I’d ordered her in the
beautiful sweet mocha resin with one of the wigs she’d been
pictured wearing. Love how she was painted too. She’s
wearing 12mm Dollbakery urethane eyes. And I’m hoping to
have her long nailed hands manicured in the future.

I’m thinking to make her a silk sari outfit next.

 

Thanks @jessholy !! My husband likes the mint best for her too - she can keep it for
the spring/summer and the purple for winter. I’ve got some amazing silks and think
it might be fun to do up a sari for her and for my light brown nYID Audrey too.

 

Thanks @JL_The_Lion !! Lara was their latest SD sculpt and I just loved her
painting so ‘had’ to have her join my group. The purple is such a rich tone and
seems to fit for the holiday season. The dance fabrics come in such amazing
jewel tones - this is the deepest of the purples that I’ve bought.
