Awesome I'm waiting for the new glam body he said would be released in March was so bummed when it was discontinued and regretted not getting that one instead. Love all these options!

 

Looks like a slim body this time in February as I wrote on QA board a month ago and Mr Choi said that it will be in March for the glamour body.

 

Oh I would be so excited for a slim body, just for the sake of having more clothes that fit! So excited for more photos, the girl he posted today (in the purple corset top) is so gorgeous!

 

I was rather hoping to see the new glamour body, but still looking forward to seeing what this new slim (presumably) body is like, and seeing more pictures of the new dolls!

Omg!!! Now that’s a good discount!!! The new body looks nice - huh, a minor point but looks like they’ve made the feet bigger - does this mean it will be easier to find shoes that fit?! I do hope so! My existing dolls go barefoot as I just can’t find anything that fits AND suits them!

I like Cindy! She reminds me of someone, like, a famous actor but I can't quite put my finger on who exactly.

Omg though the body options are getting down right confusing : NP Body slim, New slim body, or Slim body v2 are the options. and there is not a picture of the main listing for the dolls showing the difference

The listing for the New Pose body looks really good, the elbow looks really flexible, and the feet are bigger. The small large breasts looks kind of the same. I have so many slim dolls though, I'm looking forward to other updated body options.

 

I just bought a blank Yumi in milk mocha in the natural pose body on layaway! She will be a girlfriend to my Rugged Realism Aquilo. All my dolls are South Koreans and she is perfect! What are typical waiting times lately?

 

Is the feet for the newest body not the same as for the other bodies? I know he changed the feet when he changed the bodies, but are they changed again, or just this body? I plan to order the new resin shoes anyway cause they would fit my Laetitia perfectly, but flats would be nice. I just wonder if we have to order different sizes of shoes for the different bodies??

I really hope that the glam body will be released before the sale ends, as I will have to wait for another sale to buy Laetitia otherwise

 

I asked about the feet. Mr. Choi said,”We don't have flat-footed shoes on our site right now, but we have a size of msd Shoe are compatible.” The shoes with beads and the resin heel feet are on the new bodies in the photo. The flat feet are 5.5cm and heels are 4.9cm. Both slim bodies are 4.8cm. Of course, I just bought a pair of original sneakers in anticipation of my purchase which are totally useless for any of my fashion dolls. I had a choice to buy a doll that fits the sneakers or get the body I like best. Best won.

 

I ended up purchasing Celine in sweet mocha! Couldn’t pass up that discount. I picked the new Natural Pose body, the proportions are much closer to my other slim MSD’s and I’m thrilled they made the feet a bit larger! Will definitely make finding shoes easier.

 

I do hope they release the new glam body soon, it’s so nice to have options, but they’re all slim bodies right now! Mind you, the new one does look very nice! Can’t wait to see everyone’s new dolls!

I asked Mr. Choi about the glamour body, and he said that the new body will not be released before the event is over
Not sure what to do now, I need the glamour body for my Laetitia, but it's such a good price right now!

 

Do you think there won't be an event when the new glamour body is released? I'm also one of those waiting for a very long time for a new glamour body... There's always an event with a new release, or not?

 

Hard to say really. I mean if they’ve just had an event they may not want to have another straight after. That’s if the glamour body is still releasing in March - maybe if it’s later they will? Have they confirmed that yet?

 

The only "confirmation" I have is that he was commenting on a comment on the teaser post for the new body on Instagram.
"Glamour Body will be released in March and Slim Body in February." is the exact comment. He released the slimmer body now in Februari, so I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't release the glamour in March, sadly.

 

Yeah, you're both right... And I remeber that mr. Choi had already written he'd release the new glamour body few years ago and he didn't. So I'm very very curious. I think that it would be a pitty not to come back to the glamorous body, it was really extraordinary and I love it.

 

The newest replying i got via their QA section 2 days ago it’s Glamour body in April, new SD girl with body in June, no plan for male dolls unfortunately.

had a big crush on Celine, she is so beautiful. I’m waiting for Mr choi to update on their website about the comparison photo between new slim and new natural pose body.

 

It does seem the new Glamour body keeps being pushed back! Well, hopefully it really will be April. I look forward to seeing it!

 

I really like their face sculpts, but I think I will wait for the glamour body because I don't like the look of the bodies they have now, the newest one looks good at first glance, but then I see the pointy knees

 

Does anyone know if the current Iplehouse light brown is a good match for the mocha skintone?
When I googled, I stumbled over a picture from a russian forum that had a light brown and mocha resin comparison, and the skintones looked very similar. Has anyone been able to compare them? It would open up a lot of options

 

I do have similar combo. I was pleasantly surprised . But it's not the lt. brown you want, but the dark brown in dark mocha. I have a FID head on a raccoon body in those colors. When I'm on my computer will add a pic of her.

Bianca FID head (lt brown but now Dark Brown) on a Dark Mocha raccoon body. It's a great match in my opinion. Very pleased with her.



Not sure if lt brown will match mocha. Hmm. Good question. Will have to see.


Edited to add: I can't ever remember if I can add one or two pic here. I did find some pics. I thought my Nana head was dark Mocha but she's not. SHe is actually Mocha.

Here she is on a 2019 lt brown body. (Iple kept changing their formula for lt brown and the darker version they renamed now Dark Brown) One thing I do recall now, is Nana's head was a bit smaller than Iples. Nana head was 2020. SHe is a wee lighter than the body and the head a little too small for that body, in my opinion. I personally think Iple heads work better on the RD because their head are a little bit bigger.



But I have seen a NS Monica on a FID body and it seemed to work fine. So perhaps it's just that Nana head is smaller than some of the others.

 

I agree with the point above. I have a Raccoondoll Laetitia head on a FID curvy body and it works just fine - and the NS is a great match too, I don't have the skintones you need to compare though, sorry - but yes, some of the smaller Raccoondoll heads wouldn't work nearly as well. The sort of rounder heads work - like Emma or Laetitia - but the smaller ones or those with pointier chins/narrow faces not so much. Like, I have a Elf Iris and her head is much smaller, she wouldn't work nearly as well on an FID body I think.

But yeah, the Iple female heads are definitely bigger - that's how I ended up with a hybrid in fact, I didn't like that her head looked so much bigger than the rest of my girls, but I really liked the FID curvy body, so I sold the Iple head and bought a Raccoondoll one for her instead!

The match between light brown and mocha was better than I hoped for actually, so now I have to consider mocha too for my Laetitia. Both mocha and dark mocha are lovely colors, so I'm having a little trouble deciding. I was more considering option parts than a whole body, cause Iple has both hands with the long nails and fist hands. Also, killer heels! So it wouldn't be as noticeable as with a whole head/body difference. Although, I have a fid Stella in former light brown(now dark brown I guess, if they haven't changed the formula again) athletic body that I wondered if it would fit for Laetitia. She is gonna be a 90s Charlies angels type of badass that is also a member of En Vogue

I have a Laetitia head in mocha and I put it on IH FID body in light brown and it's a great match. I don't have pictures of the combo in my phone right now, only on my Insta but I think I'm not supposed to post links here...

 

I finally figured out who Cindy reminds me of - Kate Winslet! I really like Cindy ...

 

The new girls are lovely, but I have an "only elves and fantasy dolls" rule for my dolls this size. I might get another elf woman on the new Natural Pose body in the future, but for now I just ordered more clothes and a pair of shoes for the one I have.

I bought light brown IH hands for my Dark Mocha Laetitia and the match is close to perfect! I will try to get a picture if I can find the hands!

Also, I got a Smiling Gene in NS and tried this hybrid in a Souldoll NS New Kids body and the colour match is incredible. It looks really pretty too~





My idea is to have her on a JID body but the one I already have is so yellowed the colour match isn't good at all.

 

@Seed-Singer Iplehouse dark brown is a better match than lt brown to the RD dark mocha. You can't tell it's from a different brand. I had post a picture of the Iplehouse RD Hybrid further up the page if you want to take a look.

 

Thank you for your reply! For some reason when I got the FID hands in lt. brown I thought they were very similar, but now that I've had another look after your comment, I can see you're right. Although for some reason the colour difference is way more obvious in indoors lightning.

Which body is it for your hybrid? It looks fantastic. I find my JID looks good but a bit too chunky for RD heads.

 

@Seed-Singer You are welcome. If you are referring to the Body that the RD Nana head is on, it's an iplehouse FID Muscular Body. It's my favorite in that size, but unfortunately they do not sell just bodies.

Chanda got a new sweater and purse recently. Made for Tonner's newer Grace doll, but a loose enough style to fit her. Anything fitted would probably be too small.

When are people expecting the new round of dolls on the new girl body? I have a layaway for Yumi, no faceup, but I’m close to paying it off…

 

No idea, I don't know what the waiting times are like anymore, but I ordered Rosie with the new Naturally Posed Body at the end of the discount event on layaway too. I ordered her with a bunch of extras and face-up though, so I'm assuming that she isn't nearly ready yet

 

I ordered the first day of the pre-order period and my status switched to “queued for shipping” this morning! Ordered Celine on the new body (w/ faceup) in sweet mocha.

 

I just got my tracking number for my sweet mocha Laetitia! I ordered her on March 1st. I ordered her blank, but hopefully those who ordered face ups will ship out soon too! This will be my first raccoon doll and I’m so excited!

 

Oh wow! I made an executive decision and paid off my layaway last night! Good timing I’d say!

So I got an official email today confirming my full payment (I did layaway) and my status on the website changed to pending. Yumi‘s boyfriend Rugged Realism Aquilo is very excited. My story is she’s a pre-med student studying in the US and about to return to Seoul after graduation. They met online. If it takes a lot longer to ship, I may say she is visiting a friend in Europe on her way home.

 

My Celine (Sweet Mocha, w/ faceup) arrived today! (Ordered first day of the pre-order period). Her sculpt feels a bit different to me in person than it did in her photos on the website (something about her eye and nose shape - I feel like her nose looks wider in the company photos and her eyes felt a smidge wider too) but she's still really gorgeous. She was intended for a character reshell but now that she's here I think she gets a brand new character. New eyes and wig are on the way!

For anyone else that ordered her with a faceup, her lips are much brighter/pinker. than I expected (can't tell here as much as I've edited the photo). New naturally posed slim body is fantastic, btw. Fav slim msd body in my collection, I think.

Her face seems pretty round, very young looking. I'd built myself a scale conversation worksheet and dropped in average heights of children, 33cm falls in that ages 7 to 10 range. Maybe there will be other head options....I am looking forward to seeing more thou!

Juliet (33cm doll) is up on their website. The last 2 photos show her standing next to an adult raccoon woman doll. They look pretty good together. I was hoping she would be available in mint, but that is one of the few colors that is not being offered. I hope more heads are offered in the future.

 

Ah, I'm a bit disappointed by the 33cm doll, her head still looks too big and childish next to the adult doll to me - that said, it's probably still better than most other YoSD options, and hopefully they will release more head sculpts that I like better?! If she had a less round face and smaller eyes maybe... well, hopefully there will be more choices in the future, although if no one much buys the first one, they may not I guess.
