I ordered a black Jojo style wig in 6-7 for my Narae about 4 or 5 months ago from JuJu's Dolly Mall online. Judy had said that it was backordered, and would take a while. I have emailed her about a problem before and she was super fast and cooperative all the way through, but my mom is thinking that I'll never get the wig. I've already paid. Should I email her yet again asking for an update? Should I wait another month for it to be sent to me? Or am I just being paranoid? I had researched this place and found it to be reputable, so Im thinking that's the case. Thank you!
How long has it been since you asked for an update? I've dealt with Juju's Dolly Mall before and found it reliable, but it certainly couldn't hurt to politely ask for an update if it's been a while since you last heard from her. I don't think Judy would deliberately steal from you, but maybe your order was forgotten? 4-5 months is a long time to wait!
That is a very long time to wait, I've never had to wait more than two days for anything to be shipped from her. I would email and politely ask about any updates.
I last asked updates about a month and a half ago. I think I should email her again. I doubt she is doing anything wrong, and she just moved stores, but still, it's been a long time.
By all means, email her again. She's been moving (physical location) and has been frantically busy -- which is not to make excuses, but she is an extremely conscientious and ethical person. If you feel it's been long enough, politely ask for a refund if the wig is not yet available.
I hope you did email her and talk to her again. I did a small eye order from her not long after I posted actually, few hours afterward I think, and got my order through today (8th september - 17th september, and that was shipping outside the US) so Juju is certainly sending items off, she might have forgotten in the hectic time of the move
I had a problem with that store. I ordered a Monique wig in May 2008 and they didn't tell me it was on back order until I got the rest of the order. After waiting several weeks I asked for a substitute. They didn't respond to my multiple emails so I asked for my money back and after several more emails to them I did get a refund. Interestingly enough I was told that my backordered wig had gone out on 07/08/2008 but they couldn't find their postage log. And as of today, it hasn't arrived. I've put this seller on my Do Not Buy From list.
Maybe it is a problem with Monique, since the transactions that have gone wrong mentioned are both to do with Monique wigs. My order from Juju was a pair of glastic eyes, and a week to get here from America is very fast, so maybe it is a Monique problem? Especially since both wigs mentioned were ordered at about the same time?
Monique ships out to distributors in bulk. And they ship fast. So I think it is JuJu's problem, not Monique's. I personally use Facets by Marcia normally for all my Monique wig needs, but Marcia is ill lately and so I order directly from Monique. Monique receives your order, figures out the closest distributor that has what you want in stock, and tells them to ship it. Monique has two distros in Florida. monique.com, communication's great (as I found out when I ordered a wig that ended up not being in stock anywhere, Margaret first tried CALLING me then emailed and we worked it out with a wig that was even better...que servicia!), and of course we all know the quality of the product...unless you have a rapport with your wig reseller like I do with Marcia, why bother with one? Xyria, were I you, I'd get my money back and go buy directly from Monique. JoJo is a popular wig and there's no way a common colour like what you want is out of stock in Monique's entire distro network.
I was guessing is all, if I want to get hold of a monique wig, I just send someone an email, give them money and they go down to their local doll supply shop and buy me one, so I have never had one on order
Now it's been almost a year since I ordered and I sent her an email moments ago. If it's still not able to be shipped, I will ask for a refund and try to buy straight from Monique. Thank you all for being so helpful! All I want is a wig for my poor, bald Narae =/ EDIT: She replied already, and my order just got lost when they moved stores! She's sending it out shortly, along with a complementary pair of shoes. It was just all a big mess, not Judy's fault at all! I can't wait to recieve them =D
I ordered two wig caps on the 24th of september. Nothing, and no email replies. has anyone even heard from Juju's dolly mall in ages? I saw all the good feedback threads here, and now I'm worried. Especially since I passed over a different distributor....
Hello TatsuKitty, I just heard from Judy today. I had sent out an inquiry about a Monique wig on Friday and she just emailed this morning. I was worried whether they were still active since their home page wasn't up to date. She apologized for the delay, but I had already placed an order since then through Facets by Marcia. She is incredibly fast. I emailed Friday, and even though she was on vacation she immediately responded and told me she would process my order on Monday when she got back. She did and is shipping today! I don't know what the delay is with your Juju's order, but there does seem to be a cause for concern.
I heard back from her and got my order in! the wig caps are great, so I've gotten my tiny set up witha decent wig, finally. I had trouble with that scrolly thing for the states. it wanted me to be in a different state, apparently. She was great once I heard from her again though, so i've ordered eyelashes now too.
