Putting Pieces of WIP back together

I have cut open the head and a leg on the bid I am making to remove armature and also to add LaDoll air-cry clay on the inside of each. In putting the pieces back together, does anyone know what is best to use as an adhesive? Is Apoxie Sculpt used or something like superglue? It seems that just using the LaDoll clay wouldn't be strong enough and would create a weak spot. Thanks for any help. This is my first attempt at making a BJD.
