Cynicus (Fairyland Juri 2014) and Requiem (Elfdoll Vivian male) date. In between the mayhem that is life with her psycho alien roommate, Pharma. I had three sculpts that I didn't know what to do with. They invented their own tale.

Sadly, I no longer own Juri. MerryDollRound Ophelia is the planned future face of Cynicus.

My elves' styles vary per character. There are cyberpunks, pastel goths, a fairy in pajamas, and a pantsless mechanical hooligan. But the majority are a fusion of Renaissance era and Victorian. I'm a sucker for steampunk, mori, and fantasy medieval.

Prompt: Is there a place you associate with your doll? Somewhere that gives off their vibes?

 

I took my DC Ada with me to Europe when I did a year of school there, and (although I never took her outside my room), the small towns you find in French-speaking areas remind me of her.
The towns themselves are strung along the road at oddly spaced intervals, and if you make your way through them at certain times (like Sundays, when everything is closed) they're completely deserted. It's eerie. So the early morning fog rolling in past the hundreds-of-years-old buildings just past the edge of the wilderness while the whole town hides away - that's what I associate with her. The feeling of being alone in a setting like that is how I think she'd feel: a small creature, alone in a strange world, both beautiful and a bit eerie and wrong. But she's stubborn! It's a weird world, but darn it, we're staying put.

Prompt: What's a fear that you have that relates to your doll, or that your doll has?

 

That I won't be able to get the head I want for Alistair (Ringdoll Yann) and that Hozuki of Hozuki no Reitetsu will forever be on the maybe list.
This is the head I want for Hozuki and Alistair, though scarred is supposed to be prettier.

I have a lot of those but I especially like these little worn blocks. They're blank so I can put any letters I like on them in photoshop.

Prompt: A Family gathering.

Anders has last seen his parents when he was 12. He met some people he might have considered a family, but life on the run is not kind to making and maintaining strong bonds and relationships.
So, having a moment to slow down and have a drink with his boyfriend and friend or two, or sit next to the fireplace with his cat while his boyfriend plays with the dog are probably the closest things to family gathering he will ever know.

(Not exactly what the prompter asked for, but it would be a shame to let this thread die.)

Ok, so I don't own this doll yet, but I've had her character for a while and I love how she is. Her name is Benny and she is super happy and bubbly and sort of a bubble head. Anyway, so she loves her friends and her teddy, but she hates getting sick and going to hospitals because she's afraid of jello. XD

If your doll were to give you a gift, what do you think it would be? Show or tell.

 

I suppose if the twins gave me a gift it would be super fancy artsy fartsy sign for the Pub since they are both in advertising and graphic arts. Though the thing would be huge though and not appropriate for the venue.

That would be Kali. She gets herself and her friend Hermes into trouble, and he gets them out of it. Not the best photo since I took it at night, but here's my duo (Kali is the one with floofy hair)

Are any of your doll's good at repairing/ inventing things?

 

I'm reviving this by answering the prompt from the poster before the last (since they didn't post a prompt).

I haven't shelled him yet (but I plan to at some point), but Tahmos has an estranged twin (born second) brother who resents Tahmos. Unfortunately...Tahmos doesn't know this fact. Also, Tahmos' twin is kind of an antagonist that Tahmos is eventually going to have to confront and fight against (sucks when that happens, huh?).

My new boy (Iplehouse Zenon SID model) came on April first, so of course he is not at all who or what I thought he would be. So now I must figure out who this new handsome sweet stranger is.

Show me superhero, or a super villain for that matter if you feel more evil, or both, I'm not picky just so long as it's super.

 

Wiishu's got a couple of cosplays, but Pooki has his very own alt-identity, thanks to DoA's Project Runway.
