I am reading Nilani Singh's Hunter Angel series. I fell in love with the story, so I decided to create my own Guild Hunter. So let me introduce Panther, my Hunter Born Vampire Hunter
The trousers and the west are made from fake leather, and the west has some soft and fine fake fur.
He has gloves with claws, and some throwing knives. He does not like any other weapons.
Shion's left hand is not basic, it is spear holding hand, so I could not made both gloves

I really got into this project since it is something I've wanted to do - not necessarily for this size but for the LittleFées. That's why the guns are a bit too small, they work great for the smaller guys. And since I was so interested in it I went and made more like a wardrobe than an outfit. True, all the pieces could be put on at one time - if the doll was much bigger, but there were too many layers to do that on a 1/4 scale, even with how thin some of the materials were. The neck scarf was used for additional warmth.
I didn't want to make him a gunfighter so I made him a deputy sheriff, what with him have two pearl handled guns. They usually had six pointed stars for badges, but since he's in a small town he just rates a tin star. Plus that's all I had on hand.
So, here are the pictures:





Below are the prerequisite materials used: fake fur for the wig and the chaps, leather and/or vinyl for the jacket, vest, gun holsters with belt, and the hatband.



These are the rest of the pieces. The back of the shirt is yoked and has two pleats for additional ease for movement.
The jacket is also yoked with the suede fringe marking the seams on the sleeves and the yoke.
Beads were used to emulate the gripper snaps on the vest and jacket. Oh, and one on the jeans too.



And here he is ready to go out and help round up some stray cattle on the northern 40. It gets quite chilly up there!

Ok, here goes! Not what I originally planned (never did finish the boots or the axe, and the armor went all wrong >.< but there's still quite a lot done, so I think I meet the reqs), but it looks ok I guess. I wish I'd have finished in time to take photos outside today, but I missed the light... I took off the cloak for the front and back shots to make the rest of it easier to see.

I am done posting my entry. I really enjoyed doing this.. honestly been to afraid to work with the fur and leather, but I am happy how good it looks. Next time I will make more, but this is good for now

Sadly I am going to withdraw. I got a lot done for this challenge and wanted to finish so bad but I ended up having a major flare-up of my Fibro. I have been unable to get out of bed since Wednesday night for longer than 5 minutes. Ugh I am so mad at myself! I am doing a little better today but won't finish in time. I hope to add some photos in the chat thread later because I will finish this when I am better. Good luck designers! I can't wait to see everyone's entries!

 

Done and posted. This challenge involved blood, sweat and tears for me. Blood because it is mostly hand sewn and I must have stuck myself with the needle at least a dozen times. Sweat because frustration overheats me and I was really frustrated at times; and tears because I woke up with a stye Thursday morning and my right eye was watering like crazy.

 

Ok done! (well, kinda. I have an outfit at least. Wanted to do more, but man, this week >.<)
Also, eeee!blue oracle did you make the moogle?! Sorry, have a slight moogle obsession sometimes haha great job too. Everyone's are pretty impressive actually!
