Modification Project Frankendoll

Once upon a time, I bought a Doll Chateau Alberta.

I bought a Resinsoul Ya on the Shi body, and I gave the arms to a buddy. Then I realized that the DC kid arms looked pretty good, but some color matching was going to be necessary:

I also had an Alchemic Labo Unoa Lusis head that I'd colormatched to an older, more yellowed Peakswoods FOB body, but then I got a new one, and the face no longer matched...

So I pulled out baby's second airbrush and tried out a new peach skintone, and hoo boy, is it orange, but also, it matched the Unoa faceplate?:

From the picture, it's obvious that I should have given the lower torso a layer or two more, but - nah. Lazy. With clothes, I can't even see the issue:

The airbrush paint (I painted everything, even the joints and the joint hollows) added a touch of tooth, and she poses very nicely now. That was a pleasant surprise:

Frankendoll is now composed of an Unoa Lusis head, Resinsoul torso, and Doll Chateau arms and legs.

I was low-key shocked how well the Doll Chateau legs fit in the Resinsoul torso. Funny story - Resinsoul legs fit perfectly in Yummysweetsdoll Lotus's torso perfectly, too. Frankendolly #2 on the way!
