Sorry for asking such a noob question but I'm truly a noob when it comes to photo. I took some resin comparison pictures, but can't post them before I find a way to type on the pictures. What program do you guys use to type/write on pictures? I use a Mac and don't have photoshop. I have iPhoto but can't find a way to type on the picture itself. Any free programs either for download or online I don't know about? Or functions on the Mac?
looks like you can do text with iphoto, they just don't already put it out there for you to find http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/im.../100299-add-text-photo-iphoto.html#post714995
Basically any photo editor should have this functionality. I like Pixelmator as a general mac photo editor/photoshop alternative -- at $30 it's an absolute bargain for what it is. If you use flickr, they have a photo editor called Aviary you can use to add text to images. I mostly use Skitch for screen caps but you can also use it to add text to photos.
Thank you for great suggestions. I've been looking for a photo editor but I've been a little hesitant as I'm incredibly inpatient with these kind of programs, and the Photoshop I had a few years ago seemed like a nightmare to learn. I'm getting hives from trying to learn computer programs, hehe.
Picmonkey is great for quickly adding text to photos. You don't have to have an account or sign in either.
Photobucket has come out with a little editing feature. I think text is included. But usually, I save my text-over-picture handling to Photoshop. I have more font choices.
