Problems with ravynscry (formerly titled "Prop Swap Closed and totals final!!!")

Yay! My package went all across the country! ^^ I hope everyone likes my items once they're sent out!

 

I'm still really sorry. I still need to get my hands on the $5 I need to send with it. We're tight on money right now. So sorry!!

 

unfortunatly my package was returned to me badly damaged and missing most of the bits

apparently the local postie has been mistreating quite a lot of the post around here and he has now been sacked as a result, although obviously that doesn't really help much with the swap

so I just wanted to say I'm sorry for letting down the people who made/bought an extra item, not sure what else I can do except apologise

 

I sent you a PM when I mailed them out, but I figured you were too busy to reply. Just in case you didn't get it, yes, mine's already been mailed out ^^;;

Oh I totally forgot to even say that I sent mine, but since it's been marked as received I guess you know that by now. *L*

 

I think that is more than fair!!! I'm really excited to receive this swap. Thanks so much for keeping us all posted.

 

*rolls around* I'm pretty sure mine should reach in time, can't be in the mail THAT long, but wouldn't it be a waste to the rest of the swappees if they only got like 8 out of supposed 9 items? And the last items could be really cool.

Also, what'd happen to the remaining items the rest have already sent, there'd be leftovers, as everyone already sent 9... I think it's just best to wait for the whole group, seeing as it's only one or two people. Not speaking about myself because my group's already all received besides me *is embarrassed for the holdup* but just what I think.

Have the remaining ones even sent them out yet, though?

 

It went pretty well actually! Thanks for asking ^^ It wasn't so much a test as more like a 'Final Year Project' (cos I study design) presentation & grading, followed by an exhibition. Lots of industry people came down to view our projects during the Grad show, and as I did an advertising project using BJDs, I generated lots of interest and questions ^_^

The external examiners thought my kids were cool~

 

Glad that you got my package. Did everything survive and can your doll use them?

Did you get any more in Racynscry? I can get more items if someone needs to drop out of the mini group.

 

I think it is working out. You get that many people together and something always happens to someone. Don't be discouraged We will get what we get and it will be a good thing.

May I suggest you go ahead and send my contribution to vulpes, since it was the postal system that ruined their contribution to the group? It wasn't vulpes' fault. ^_^

 

Hey its fine, just longer anticpipation time not a problem. For what its worth I have had two packages come in from the States recently and both of them have taken forever to get here, like six weeks even tho they sent via airmail. There could well be some kind of problem at the mo, and also thats a heads up coz mine might take a while to get here

 

Just wanted to say that I thought the central swap thing is a great idea; I am happy that I don't need to worry about not getting anything back.

Ohhh *phew* mine's arrived? For a moment there I panicked and thought that mine still hadn't reached and was all ;_; because then I'd have bought and shipped then for nothing.
