Problems with DOLKUS

Mar 18, 2012

    1. Please note, this thread is to document communication, payment, shipping, and other issues with DOLKUS.

These issues have been occurring on and off since 2012. So as of 10/15/2021, the mod team would recommend extreme caution if choosing to use their dealer services.

    2. the story is i'm doing layaway via DOLK (total around 15 items , its not a GO but its single customer)

first payment went great , DOLK reply all my questions since i'm new for 'layaway' things but then i got this email from DOLK saying i have to cover $30 from the maker of the company to DOLK
is this reasonable? mentioning that the items is from few different companies (crobi , nine8style , sadol etc)

my friend did told me that its not a problem if DOLK is the OFFICIAL seller from all the list i gave them which it is since they told me they in contract with 30 different companies along with clothing line like Tata , Tree Design , Nine9Style , DM ~

is this ever happen to anyone before? or it is just me? since my friend bought item from DOLK and do layaway as well but they never ask him to cover the $30

i knew DOLK had problems in past and make few DoAers go wild discussing but i see few people that gave feedback for item they bought on DOLK and i thought they'd change so i give it a go ~

      HELP ! :(

    3. I personally have never delt with DOLK but I do not find it reasonable personally. Plenty of dealers carry items from many stores and they only charge you shipping one time from them to you. I do not think you should have to pay for shipping for those shops to ship items to DOLK. It's not your responsibility.

Stores like Ajumapama carry ninestyle tree design etc too but shipping charge is also just one time from Ajumapama to YOU. This goes for many other shops. They don't ask you to pay extra shipping that the other shops are charging Ajumapama for................It is unheard of.

    4. This is not reasonable. Especially since (it sounds to me) they are charging you for expenses AFTER you began the layaway. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong -- but I don't think that this is ethical or even legal business practice. After all, you have agreed to pay X amount for goods + shipping when you agreed to the layaway. They should not be able to suddenly turn around and charge you extra like this.

Does DOLK have an official layaway policy on their website, or was this arranged on a one-on-one basis? Check the terms of your layaway closely again. Is there any clause in their layaway policy that allows them to charge you these kinds of expenses? If there's no statement as such, you may have grounds for disputing this charge. I'm not sure how you'd go about disputing this, but if there's no mention in their layaway policy, they don't have a right to do such things.

    5. Hello there! I hope this is the right place to ask this, but basically my friend was looking to get me my first BJD for Christmas, and was planning to place an order at Dolk Station US for the doll I wanted (Dear Mine's Nocturn ~Eclipse~!) once her paycheck came in later this month. We'd been keeping an eye on it in case stock got low so we could order it early if that happened, but it was suddenly listed as sold out yesterday with no low stock warning at all until then. Somehow, the system glitched and let her order one before going back to displaying it as sold out, and she's even received an order confirmation from the website and an inquiry on how long she wants the layaway to be.

We're not sure what to make of the situation, or if we should be getting our hopes up, in case she puts aside the money and pays off everything only to discover that it was in fact out of stock all along. It's a limited doll, and also a maker order product, so do we take the order confirmation to mean it really is still in stock? Does anyone know what's going on or what we should do? Thank you for your time;;;!

    6. Hi Jaywalk, It would be best to contact Dolk over their Q&A or email on this just to make sure that she is still in stock. Though I have never dealt hands on with Dolk they should get back to you/ your friend within a few days and sort everything out... Good luck!

    7. I ordered a doll earlier this year through Dolk, and they were excellent at email communication. I'd definitely get in touch with them to reassure yourself and your friend over the order. :)

    8. Thank you for your replies, @P.Tsuki and @vicemage ! I followed your advice and got in touch with Dolks; my friend unfortunately received notice on her end that it was indeed sold out, though the person who got back to me said they'd try to inquire if they could get any more from Dear Mine (since I sent them a pretty disappointed email.. I had inquired about the stock level only earlier last month but never received a reply).
Considering how it was a limited doll I know the odds are super slim, of course, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed..!

    9. Glad Dolk got back to you @jaywalk. I will keep my fingers crossed for you too that Dolk is able to get ahold of another lovely Nocturn Eclipse from Dear Mine :)

    10. How long does Dolk usually take to reply? It's been over a week and there's been no updates- I guess I should just assume it wasn't possible in the end but it would have been nice to receive a response saying as such...

    11. They may still be checking with the Dear Mine- however it would be best to follow up with them again...

    12. @P.Tsuki Thank you, I'll give it a shot ;~; Not entirely hopeful by now though I do hope I'm not bothering the staff too much...

    13. No worries that is what they are there for :).

      Keep us all posted @jaywalk

    14. Hii! I have a question. I bought a doll from dolks -this is the second time- and I finished to pay my layaway last week. Today they wrote me that the actual shipping fee for my order is like double than what I had already paid in the beginning so I have to add money if I want them to ship my doll to me.
I'm a little angry. On their website they have a table with all the prices for every region and the amount that they want to charge me doesn't even exist.
(the total amount is over $100.)
There is something that I can do? T__T

I emailed them and I'm waiting for a reply. Even if the package is big, on their website they said that 100 cm packages are $78 for my region. I highly doubt that my box (msd doll) is bigger than that .-.

In the beginning they asked me $45 for shipping. And now more than $100. I even talked with a friend of mine we bought the same doll from them (I have one pair of eyes and hands more than her order) and she paid $67.
I don't understand how they calculate shipping price. I have two things more than her, but eyes and hands are like weightless and so small that they can put them in the doll package.

    15. O wow that is terrible to hear! Yeah I would wait on the reply. I don't know if you can talk to a manager or anything. If you do end up paying that amount, I would tell them you are a returning customer and let them know how disappointed you are with this transaction and will be leaving a review about the transaction that took place. After hearing your experience I don't think I'd want to do business with them.

    16. That's for sure. This already is a bad publicity for them, because I too won't buy from someone that do this to their costumers. Even at that friend of mine they asked, in the end, to add money to the originally paid amount -that it stated on their website and that people automatically pay when they make the order-
If I had knew that I would have to pay $100 for shipping I wouldn't have bought from them! I even have customs to think about, and now this.

    17. That really is an awful experience and no way to treat customers. It's kind of false advertising in a way, hitting you with surprise charges.

Sadly i find the "make enough fuss and you'll get somewhere" tactic works best. Certainly wait for their response but if they persist ask to speak higher or to a complaints person etc. Threaten bad reviews and legal action maybe also if they refuse to budge.

Last resort would be a refund and go elsewhere - Not fun but better than paying outrageous amounts.

It's sad companies still do things like this. Let us know how you get on!

      • x 2
    18. I can't say how they calculate shipping, but in general ito bad business to ask for more money later . They should honor the price. There are probably laws that cover transactions and agreements, but realistically its not like you can do much but leave bad feedback if they refuse to honor the price.

    19. @Ladyuzumaky it looks like you are in Italy? Many bjd companies will only ship to Italy (and a few other select countries) using EMS Premium, which is more costly, but more reliable than standard EMS. The price they first quoted for you was probably standard EMS pricing. It is on them, however, for not giving you the correct quote in the first place.

      • x 1
    20. I'm still waiting for them to reply me, tomorrow maybe even if I'm not so sure about it.
I will complain, because I don't find it right that they asked me so much after I finished my payment. Now I don't have the amount that they want me to pay.

@Kimchi Yes. I'm in Italy, but they already shipped to me a doll months ago and the price was the one on their website. They know where I live, this is not an excuse that they can use.

    21. They replied me that they are talking with the Korean post office asking why the price is so high and that they apologize for this inconvenience. >----<

    22. Sounds like a more helpful attitude! Fingers crossed

      • x 1
    23. Another reply from them where they said that they did their best to reduce the package and now they asked me $85.
      :huh?:

    24. If I were you, I'd dig my feet in and insist that they honor the original amount you paid for shipping. It was an error on their part, not yours.

      • x 2
    25. @JenniferCatherine I thought of doing that too, this is what I wrote to them the second time:

I was waiting for a reply but I decided to write you again. I do not have the money that you want me to pay in addition to what I already paid.
I do not think that this method of asking money after one person finished the layaway is ok, this is an error that you (not you in person Britz, you dolks) did and I can not be the victim of it. Find a solution, I do not want to know how, but I want my package here.
You can put what I order in a smaller package. You already shipped a doll to me you can not say that you do not know where I live and $100 for shipping is outrageous. If I had knew that it would cost me this much shipping I would not have bought from you.
I'm a student, I do not work, the money were right for the amount that you asked me the first time.

I don’t want to sound mad, but I am. Not with you, again, Britz, but with this situation.

But in the end they still want more money from me. Now I replied them that my friend paid $67 and I asked them why I need to pay $18 more than her for one pair of additional hands and eyes...
And I still think that it's not right even to ask $67 when in their check out page it was calculated $45.

      • x 2
    26. Way to be firm with them. I agree, they miscalculated. If they want to keep their customers coming and avoid a bad rep, they should eat that expense. I know I won't be buying from them, I don't want to go through what you are. Hope some good comes out of this for you.

    27. Now they are asking me $82. and they said:
"Now we finalize all regarding with your order"

I don't know what to do anymore with them.

    28. How did you pay for the doll? If it was PayPal, I would recommend contacting PayPal, telling them that Dolk is asking for more money than you had originally agreed upon, and see what they would advise you to do. It seems pretty scammy in my opinion. When you paid for your items you and Dolk entered a contract of sorts saying that this was what would be paid. Unless Dolk stated that there could potentially be extra shipping costs after they received the items, they shouldn't be allowed to ask for more money.

      • x 2
    29. @JenniferCatherine I used paypal but I don't know If "attacking" them with it is a good thing. I have this feeling that If I do it I will go straightly on their black list

I think that too but Dolks have a different opinion it seems =__=

    30. In the end, britz talked with the manager and they agreed to send the package to me. I will pay when I have the money. I hope to have the tracking number tomorrow, it's a month that I'm waiting for it to be shipped to my house...

    31. That's absurd. If you have the option to pay "later", could you possibly pay when the doll arrives? Look at the shipping label and see the exact price on it. If it's more, I guess you could pay it (maybe but it sounds fishy), but if it's less, refuse to pay more?

    32. @Wolfie Pie , they wrote me this yesterday:

"We will ship out your order, after it will arrive to you you can check the postage fee and if you have money you can just pay the existing amount for shipping later."

Today I didn't receive a reply from them or a shipping notification ... :c I will think about what to do

    33. Guys, she's here. I paid a lot for customs so I don't plan to pay them the rest of the shipping in the near future... :/

      • x 3
    34. Sorry to hear you still had to pay a lot.. That's a real bummer. They really shouldn't do this to customers when they're at fault.

    35. Glad you got her! Sorry about the customs fees. And yah, definitely give Dolk a piece of your mind that you don't need to lose more money on this doll because of their error. Hope you can still enjoy her.

    36. Thank you guys for the support <3

LoL I just received their automatic email that said that they shipped out my order. :nowords:

"We would like to inform you that your order has been shipped today with an EMS number.
      "

      Seriously? ahah.

    37. @Ladyuzumaky Whaaaaatttt? On man Dolk needs to get their act together in general.

    38. That's absurd. If it was a miscalculation the company should honor the originally agreed upon price and then correct the shipping cost on the website.

There have been times when I underestimated shipping costs as a seller. I always pay the difference out of pocket because it's my mistake and I'm responsible. It's basic etiquette!

      • x 2
    39. yeah. Some months ago they contacted me saying that a wig that I ordered and already received months before wasn't available anymore, that they were sorry. I was like... what? You already sent that wig to me and that order was closed... They were so surprised about it ._. and they were grateful that I didn't take advantage of the situation. Buh.

"Its really very tough to think time to time shipping fee changes, and its also not easy for us to always ask additional payment for shipping for in this case some Customers get angry with us.

But we are still grateful for only few customers complain, most of the time Customers can understand."

They wrote me this in one of their email.

ps: I have nothing against who do the custom assistance, I know how ugly is that work and he/she was only doing what the company told him/her to do.

    40. So I'm really glad you got your order! I'm sorry for how frustrating this whole situation has been for you, but I did recently start a layway with Dolk as well. It was clearly laid out in my payment guide that in the event that the actual shipping price is higher than their quote, they will invoice me for the difference. This is because without physically having the total order in front of them (mine were all "maker order products") it might be tough for them to know exactly how they will be able to safely package something. I'm including the blurb from the payment guide email below, just in case anyone finds it helpful. Yes it does suck that the difference was so high, but I don't think Dolk is wrong to ask for the difference, just because they do communicate this possibility in their terms.

"Please be informed, DOLKS may require additional shipping fee of this order if shipping cost is lower to the real/actual shipping cost. You may notify as soon as your items arrive and we confirm the actual shipping cost."

    41. My problem was that they asked me an amount that doesn't exist on their prices table even for sd full option dolls (when mine was a msd full option) in my region. It would have been ok for me to pay if it was written in that table, but not like this. Not when you asked $67 for one person and more than $100 for another for the same doll in the same region. I took the weight of hands and eyes.. It was nothing, it can't be the one that changed the amount that much. They even reduced the size of the package throwing away all the things that weren't necessary so I really don't understand why only me had to pay that much.

      • x 1
    42. What a terrible experience, great to hear you eventually got your doll safe and sound, though! It's understandable that if they don't have the items with them, it's difficult to give an exact quote but if a larger and heavier doll had a lower shipping cost it definitely sounds like a mistake on their part (i.e. size of the package/lots of packaging material…).

    43. Hello Everyone,

I want to ask have anyone had problems with Dolk US this days? I had just finished my 3 months layaway from them last February 12. I was hoping this doll will arrive before my birthday since they said they are the fastest in in-stock Item delivery and i really love the doll. So after paying the last installment of my layaway they told me i don't have balance to pay to them and that they will get the doll ready for shipping. But after 1 week i didn't hear anything from them so i sent them a message and that message was ignored and i didn't get any reply so after another week. I finished paying for my other incoming in-stock doll head that i had on layaway and added in the message about this particular layaway i finished paying on Feb. 12. They replied but they ignored the question about the other layaway i had with them. Then i asked them again about it. They asked for the Order ID which i included in the first message i sent to them. I gave the Order ID again and they told me that this order is not fully paid and that i have $79 dollars that i need to pay them.

I know they are asking for extra shipping fee if you order pre-order dolls but this doll i finished paying is an in-stock doll that's been released last march 2016. Also i didn't get any message about telling me i have to pay for an extra shipping fee. Also the doll is a 20cm Dearmine doll. I paid his shipping for $45. The extra payment they are asking me is actually the same amount of the first down payment i paid them last year in december so that i can create this layaway. So i sent them the transaction ID for this and even sent them a screenshot of their reply last time that i don't have any balance remaining and asked them the reason why i have this remaining Balance when their last message to me was that they will be shipping the doll and just wait for it. If i didn't asked them about this layaway i wouldn't even know i owe them this amount since they didn't tell me anything and their last message is that i just have to wait for them to ship him.

I sent them a message last week and until now didn't receive any reply from them. I sent them another message yesterday. I told them i won't be paying anything until they tell me a good reason why i still have a balance of $79 when they said a different thing when i paid the last installment last feb. 12.

I am very disappointed with them and this is my first transaction with them and they messed up my order and they didn't keep track with my payments and stuff. Hopefully they will be replying before the week ends because it is almost a month and they haven't shipped him when originally his already paid off.

If they don't reply by this friday i am thinking of contacting Paypal so they can see what's up or something.

I also sent them a message on twitter about this because they seem to ignore my message when this is actually an important thing they should be replying to.

After this transaction and hopefully my other layaway that i just finished paying won't be messed up by them. After this i won't be buying from them anymore because this is such a bad first buyer experience from them.

Does anyone have an opinion where i can contact them or a us number to call? Or is their someone who works for dolk in this forum? I really want them to ship this doll since it's been long overdue and they just won't reply to any message i send them i don't want to wait another week for them to reply to me like before or for them to ignore my message for a whole week like before.

    44. Yeah, they are ignoring the mails I sent about a head I should have received with minifee Ria.

    45. Can't believe they are ignoring mails from their customers. If they want repeat customers they should start doing something about their customer service. Hopefully they will reply to us before the week ends.

    46. Sadly I don't have any answers for you but there was a thread somewhere here where Dolk asked the customer to pay more for shipping, a LOT more than the agreed upon price. I think they have not been keeping up good customer service or records.

    47. I have seen that one. I actually searched the forum first then thought of making my thread about this. Yes it seems like it. They are not keeping up with customer service and ignore peoples mails. I guess the only way is to contact paypal about this so i will know what's up with them.

      • x 1
    48. Good luck @elzain - I hope you get your dolly without having to pay extra on the shipping. It really is poor customer service on their part; first ignoring you then asking for money? They should really take a good look at themselves.

    49. Have you tried contacting them through facebook message? I ordered a incomming stock doll with them about a month and a half? ago and I recieved it with no problem without paying more fees or etc. The only thing I was disappointed was that they did not send me any notification on the shipping..(like I didn't even know that they have shipped my item because I recieved it like when I was not expecting it to come..Im just glad that it came safe tho) and also I clearly stated some specification about shipping note & about custom fees but that was ignored. Yea and they are pretty slow on replying mails but ignoring is not right.

    50. Thank you. I hope so too. But i won't be paying any extra from them until they give me a good reason where this extra fee came from. It is. I was actually surprised that i owe them money i thought they have shipped them already and just forgot to give me the tracking number but it seems like they weren't keeping track of payment records and stuff.

I have actually thought of contacting them on facebook but i'm not sure if they are active in FB or not. That is nice that you received the doll without paying extra fee to them. They should have told you that your doll have been shipped and gave you a tracking number. But it's good that your doll arrived to you safely. They shouldn't have ignore that since you asked them to do it. They are slow on replying at first i was ok with it but then after a week didn't receive any reply. Yes they shouldn't ignore it it's just bad customer service. But they seem to reply really fast when it's about payments i never had problem with them when it comes to me telling them i paid off my layaway but with other stuff it's just like waiting for a week or so and sometimes no reply.

    51. So did I. First, they told me the value stated was 100 (I ask them to state a value of 50 usd) usd, then, when I received the package I found out... the value stated was 200 usd!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?! I had to pay 74 euro because of that. And again, they pretty much ignored the mishap, even though dolkus told me to let them know how much I paid -.-"

Funny thing is that they answered promptly to another mail.... I started the layaway with them only because I always had pleasant transactions with japanese stores...

That's understandable, because they don't know the weight of dolls they don't have in stock.

    52. I've had trouble with them ignoring emails seemingly at random, making up shipping dates and shipping a week or so later even on "in stock" items that say will ship in 3 working days and shipping items without ever telling me they shipped. Their English customer service is definitely lacking. Fortunately what I have ordered has arrived but bad communication definitely makes it hard to want to deal with companies.

    53. I don't know if this will help but I bought a few accessories from their Etsy (Dolkstation) and for a few days, I didn't get any replies. I sent an inquiry e-mail to Dolk US and they finally replied to me through Etsy. So maybe try messaging them there too? I was even able to get a reply from their Japanese site on a separate occasion...however, it took a few days.

Unfortunately, even if they have a US site, Dolk might not have people who speak English that fluently...or you're not getting the same person whenever you're e-mailing them so maybe whoever told you you still had remaining balance doesn't have access to the company Paypal account?

When a similar situation happened to me (different company though), I made a list of all the payments I made along with the date and PP transaction ID. That way, whoever checks it would be able to relay that to the one in charge of payments.

I hope this gets sorted for you soon! I'd be upset too if I were in your situation. Goodluck!

    54. Sorry to hear, you are having trouble with Dolk :sorry

My first few orders went well without having to pay any extra fees. But I remember them making an announcement about charging more for shipping. Here it is:
One order of mine wasn't being shipped for about 3 days, even though they told me, my dolls arrived. I ran them over, like I paid on time, I agreed to everything and if they wanted more money they should just ship my dolls, and so on. They shipped it the day after...

And a few days ago I saw this message on their news board:
For my latest order, I had to make the summary of total fees myself, because they kept telling me, I had to pay more, which we both didn't agree to. Since then I ask everytime I make a payment, if they have received it (as insurance for later). This was my last order with them.

I can only tell you to be cautious..

    55. That is what happen to me as well. They replied to my other email within one day and that was when i told them i finished paying for my other layaway order i have with them. The same with me i wonder why their customer service is bad compared to other stores.

It is hard when they ignore emails. I'm ok even if they mail my doll late but it's been awhile and they didn't sent mine yet. It's good that your orders arrived hopefully mine will arrive soon as well. It is and them ignoring emails is just not good. It's the first time i had a bad experience with bjd dealer companies. I should have checked first before i went and bought some dolls from them.

Thank you for that advice. :) i will try doing that tomorrow hopefully they will reply since it's been 3 weeks and half since i finished paying for him and still nothing.

The person who actually replies to me is just one person. It's always been the same person whenever i tell them i paid for the layaway balance i need to pay on a specific month. That is why i am confused how they messed it up. If their is more than one person replying i can understand this but since it's always been the same person replying just makes it weird and doesn't make sense to me how they messed this up like this.

Yes i keep mine as well and if i have to send them all to them just for them to ship him i will do it.

I hope so too. Thank you. :)

It's good that you didn't have any problem with your first few orders from them.

I remember seeing that. I am ok with that if they told me if it was for the shipping. But i just found out this extra fee when i asked about the paid layaway i had with them. And i have bought dolls from japan before and the most shipping i paid was not over hundred and this doll is 20cm so it should't be more than the $45 that i paid to them.

It's good that they shipped your dolls after you told them that. Did they ask you to more after they shipped your dolls?

That's what is happening to mine and the last time they replied to me i fully paid him already. I do that as well since i started my layaway to them everytime i pay them i message them and give them the transaction ID and ask them if they received it or not. Did you finished your layaway with them in a how to stay more easier transaction?

Thank you i will be cautious from them from now one and hopefully they won't mess up my other layaway that i just finished paying this month.

This will be my last order from them next time i will go directly to the doll companies or to other trusted bjd dealers.

    56. No they didn't ask for more, but this was back in June 2016. I ordered 2 SD dolls and a seahorse tail, so the package was huge.

I paid it off last week, but I told them not to ship it before April. They didn't mention any additional fees yet though.
You can ask me privately for advice through a conversation, or post their answers here, so we can help (:

    57. Wow, I've never ordered from them but their practices are very bad. Asking for extra fees for whatever reason, is extremely shady and inexcusable. I work at a local business and we'd never do something like that to our customers. If we miscalculate shipping cost, it is on us. It would be very embarrassing if we had to lay it on the customer after we've already agreed on a price.

I mean, they are a bunch of adults and shipping companies have calculator tools to help you determine the cost, so they damn well better act like adults and learn how to handle their customers better.

    58. All the non-automated emails I received were always from just one person as well according to the signature block. The issues I've had were both to the old and the new contact address. They also recently said they're changing their English hours to EST but I'm not sure why or how that really changes things.

I ordered a 20 cm doll from them. The shipping price for that was US$34 to USA. I actually had them combine it with another order to reduce shipping costs and they said fine they would ship them together but didn't lower the shipping cost until I sent multiple emails pointing out their own page which details their combined shipping policies. They assign letter codes for size and have a table for code vs destination for cost and formulae for combining various letter codes. When I finally got them to agree to follow their formula they said they would ask for more money when things actually shipped if the price was higher but in the end they shipped it without asking for any additional fee.

    59. Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone had the same or similar experience as I am having right now..

So about a week and a half ago, I was in a search to purchase an upcoming wedding gift for my sister. She had an interest in BJDs and seem to really like my dolls too. So I thought why not buy a doll for her. Since her wedding is very soon, I had to get something that was an instock doll (so I can get it quick before the wedding,) so I was surfing on the dealer sites like Denver doll, Fabric friends doll, and Dolk. I decided to purchase a baby delf Uriel (Luts doll) from Dolk because I thought the sculpt really matched my sisters taste, and Dolk was the only site that had Uriel instock.

Now the problem here is that this is my second time purchasing from Dolk and I was having a second thought about buying something from Dolk due to their lack in customer service experience that I had.
But because Uriel was available in stock, and it says 'instant delivery', it was very tempting to purchase from Dolk, so I did.

I purchased the doll and paid in full last Monday, May 15th.
I stated specifically that I need to receive the doll before May 29th and wrote them a detailed inquiry on May 16th (after my payment was done which was May 15th, Monday) asking them if they have received my payment and asking some questions of when it will ship out & correcting my address etc.
I only got an answer about the payment. They only answered that they have received it and the status was updated to 'shipment waiting' late because they forgot to update it. There were absolutely no answers towards the estimated shipment date and if they have corrected my address. My questions were practically ignored.

It says that instock dolls are shipped within 3 days after the payment so I was expecting it to ship around Thursday ~ Friday. Right now, a week has passed from the payment and I have yet to receive any notification on either the shipment or tracking number.
I had this exact same experience the first time I bought a doll from Dolk. They have not given me any tracking number what so ever and I practically had to 'beg' and ask if it has been sent. My emails were ignored and my doll came just out of the blue when I was not expecting it at all. I wrote them another email that I have received it and next day I got an email saying that they forgot to update me on the tracking number and sent the tracking number after I received my doll. I mean what is the point of that?..
I am really happy that it came safe, but I was very disappointed to how they forgot to tell me or even give a notification about tracking number / shipment.

Anyhow..I decided to wait until Friday May 19th to send them another inquiry mail about the shipment.
Since there was no notification on the tracking number, I decided to send them once more asking "May I please get an answer on the status of the shipment whether it has been sent out or not, and if it is out, May I PLEASE get a tracking number". I know that usually shipping from Korea / Japan through EMS is very quick to get to me (usually within 3~5days).

It is May 23rd Tuesday, and I have yet to hear anything from them.
I don't know if I sound very hasty but I am sure that I have asked them politely and specified all the details in questions but I feel like I am being ignored. They are very prompt about payment inquiries but other than that I am just too disappointed.

I just don't know if they AGAIN have forgotten to notify me about the tracking number, but this is getting to a point where it is just frustrating and stressful that I am having the same experience from Dolk all over again.. :(

Has anyone had the same experience? and if you ever purchased the instock dolls, what was your wait time starting from your full payment?

I know my only option to right now is waiting :( but it would've been great if they at least notify me about the tracking soon. I really want to give it to my sister on her wedding day because I am sure that she will love it and since it is her first BJD, it would mean it more.

    60. First, what a wonderful idea for a wedding gift! :D I wish you were my sister, lol!

Second, I'm sorry to tell you this, but they corrected their processing time for instock items :( Found it here: Shopping Guide | Shipping Time - Dolk Station
I aswell am having problems with them rn. Though I was praying something like this wouldn't happen, it still did: I calculated my dolls processing time before ordering it, so I ordered my blank, I repeat, blank doll after carefully thinking it through. Since I choose my dolls characters by their zodiac sign, which is given by their arrival date, hence birthday, it is very important to me.

Before this order I had no problems with Dolk before, like never.

The thing is, this dolls company stated a processing time for blank dolls of 40 business days and I ordered mine through Dolk on 25th January. My doll's zodiac sign was supposed to be Taurus and should have arrived before 21st May. According to my calculations considering all public holidays, the doll should have arrived about 2 months ago. I even calculated delays caused by the retailer!
Since the date I ordered, it has been 80 processing days. Apparently Dolk never received the doll until yesterday, saying the manufacturer had delays, which I highly doubt. After sending them a bad mail 6 days ago, I even threatened them, they replied today, the doll had arrived and they would ship it tomorrow 24th May. I will have to see about that yet...

So no, unfortunately you are not the only one having problems with them. The only thing I can suggest you, is to spam them with mails, until you get your desired reply with tracking number. It is what I would do, if I wasn't this nice of a person. You stated all requirements for your order and they should never have accepted your order, if they couldn't accomplish it.

You have all the right to be upset, but I really hope your doll will be shipped soon! It would be a dream, if your sister could see what kind of gift you prepared for her  Good luck!
