Negative Feedback Problem transaction with Sahtyne - Marketplace banned

    1. I bought an Iplehouse FID Bianca from Sahtyne.

      Copied from original sales post:

      Price was 450$ shipping included (not insured).

      First of all, I asked Sahtyne if it was possible to insure the package (On 14th september). It was with an extra payment, she had three company options and I decided on Chronopost (32,90€).

      As we share currency (euros and not dollars) I asked Sahtyne to give me a price on euros so we didn't have to change currencies. She used Paypal conversion and asked me 430€, which made the price around 20€ more expensive (due to Paypal currency fees, as using XE, Google converter, etc, it was 412€). In the end she told me that she was paying the PP fees and that she agreed to be pleasant so she offered me to pay 425€.

      I agreed without further issue (in the end, it was 20€), and on 16th Sept I made the full payment. Until here I would say eveything was good.

      On 17 Sept Sahtyne told me she would gave me tracking on monday.

      On 22 Sept Sahtyne gave me the tracking and advised me that tracking info on web could need 2 or 4 days to update. No problem for me.

      On 28 Sept I contacted Sahtyne because tracking was not updating. In fact, since the first day of tracking, the status was "under shipper hands" (not as admited in the office or in transit).

      On 30 Sept Sahtyne told me that she went to the postal office and they told her that the package still didn't leave her town office. She offered me to take back the package and change of shipping company. This sounded weird to me as I never got to recover a package once sent, but as we already waited a week I asked her not to take it out.

      Surprisingly, the same day the package changed its status from "under shipper hands" to "admited", and "in transit".

      On October 2nd, only 3 days after my last complaint, the package reached my country. At this point I would say that still, overall, it was good so far for me.

      Until I opened the box. It was not advised on the sales post that the seller smoked. So not only doll and box were smelly, but doll was somehow yellowed. Probably by smoke fumes. And I noticed this yellowing when I changed her feet, as the flat pair (sitting on the box), was pretty lighter. I add a picture below.

      I had to deep clean in warm water and bicarbonate, whipe the faceup and redo it. I restrung also the doll.

      After this odyssey I was still not about to complain. In fact until this post, I never complained to Sahtyne about the smell or the yellowing. Shit happens, that's how I see it.

      But. Inside the box were missing a pair of eyes and the SartoriaJ shorts (that I noticed today, when I was re-reading the original sales post)

      On 2nd October, when I told Sahtyne I recieved her, I told her that a couple of eyes were missing. (Also the pants, but I didn't tell her that day)

      On 2nd October Sahtyne excused and told me that she would send them and told me something at the start of the week.

      On 7th October I asked Sahtyne again.

      On 9th October Sahtyne excused herself again and told me she was gonna contact me on the weekend.

      On 15th October I asked Sahtyne again.

      No answers.

      Today I asked her again when noticed about the missing SartoriaJ pants.

      I was not gonna complain about the "under shipper hands" joke, or the smoke smell (not stated), or the yellowing (not stated), but I think it's too much. I already paid a bit more due to Paypal currency change when we never used it in first place, and I don't think I have to let it pass missing items. I think I've been patient and waited weeks and weeks, but it's been 16 days since I recieved the doll already.

      Please Sahtyne come back to me, send me those items or refund them. The pair of eyes I have is not even (it's one brown and one green), so I'm unsure of how much can it cost an acrylic eye and a glass eye. SartoriaJ pants, in their website, are 21$.

      I would be glad to provide positive feedback if we can finally sort this out. If I can't reach to you in the end I would consider open a Paypal claim.

      PD: here I add a picture of the yellowing. Sorry my camera is what it is ^^' but you can see the difference in the ankles. Doll is already clean and scrubbed and still flat feet are lighter. I did not clean heel feet. I'm showing everything to compare. If you have any tip on how to get better the skin color I am glad of making more pictures.

    3. Another week has passed and still no news from Sahtyne. If by next friday 30th I have no answer, I will open a Paypal claim and ask a partial refund for the missing items and ALSO the damaged item (yellowed due to (non advertised) smoking house).

      sorry to hear you are on hospital :(
      As I stated before, we could arrange a partial refund for the missing parts so, if you are feeling sick, you no longer need to go to the post ofice and you can rest.
      I hope we can solve this issue soon and I hope that you get well fast!

    6. As since 25th oct I had no response from the seller about how to work the things out, I'm opening a Paypal claim, today 2nd november.

      Only after two days of opening the Paypal case, Sahtyne answered (there's no doctor like Paypal, right?).
      Not to me. Not to my messages. Not to my post or not to me inside the Paypal case.
      In ANY way Sahtyne tried to reach me to sort this issue.

      In the Paypal case I explained thoroughly all the transaction (as you could read above) and I asked a refund based on the price of the extras not recieved (based on SartoriaJ website, eyes I had to guess, since I lack 1 acrylic eye and 1 glass eye......), and the Iplehouse faceup I had to remove in order to clean the doll.

      Didn't ask anything of the extra shipping, or the money from conversion I basically gave her for free, nor the price of the new faceup I had to put, the strings or any other repair I did to the doll.

      So. The only option Sahtyne gave me (through Paypal, as like I stated above she never contact me again since October, and honestly I don't think she will), was to return the doll. I called paypal as I NEVER wanted to return the doll; in fact, I accepted a damaged item (after the SCAM, as she NEVER stated yellowing or smoking household), cleaned it, repaired it, and gave a new faceup. I just wanted to have the damn extras I paid for, or in compensation, the price I paid for them. Apparently, as Sahtyne didn't give them any other option, my only ways to proceed are; returning the doll or close the case.

      The agent from Paypal adviced me to NOT return the doll, since she read the entire case and told me that, as the doll is altered (even if its for good), seller could reopen the case and claim that the item is not the same as she sent me. So she would get the doll AND the money. Basically, with Sahtyne's resolution I have no chance to get things fair; I risk myself to she scamming me and taking both doll and money (and she already scammed me when lying at sales post), or I just close the case and accept my loss and her getting away with money and items.

      I already contacted DOA mod's about this concern as I really think this person should not be making sales. I just want to warn you all about dealing with her, since she is currently selling more things (even a layaway that started almost when I bought her the doll), and NONE of them had the smoking status or damages. And the fact that she never intended to talk to me and only gave an unfair option to sort this out only makes me think about how shady she is. I had to open a Paypal case in order to reach to her, but instead of negotiate with me or talk to me she just gave a closed option that she knew it was unfair; as she never really intended to mend her "mistake" or to solve this issue in a friendly and fair way, it makes me wonder about if she really forgot to send the extras and to point out the damage of the doll, or it's just her way to sale.

      Sahtyne, if you ever come back and give an answer, that will probably be some time after this and you will probably say how sick you were, I just hope your behaviour gets stoped in some part of the way. If with this problem transaction post I get to warn people about your behaviour, I would be more than satisfied.

      By my part, I proceed to give negative Feedback to her and close this problem transaction. Thanks to the mods for their help
