Wearables Princess crown

I've recently got some Disney things for Christmas, one of which was a Rapunzel notebook that has an absolutely beautiful illustration of her crown on the inside cover, so I've decided to try and make it (or something inspired by it).

I've also decided that I am not allowed to buy and new materials for this projects as at this point I have a far too large collection that I have seemed to gathered over time and have yet to use most of it. To start of making this crown, I've used an old hoop earring, from which I removed all of the decorations and cut it open so that if could fit onto my dolls head without falling off. I've then made a simple base idea for a frame out of a thin wire but I plan on replacing this with a thicker wire later on. I'm just testing ideas and materials at this point.
So that the edges of the crown don't scratch my doll, I've wrapped them with some wire for the time being until I can find a more suitable solution.

Already, I feel like I need to change the shape more, as I have added way to many hoops, although I do like the look of the hoops, so I think I will have 5 hoops instead of 3 like the picture.

Having gone through my supplies of gems and other gold details, I have realised that I don't actually have any large gems for which I can use, so I will have to improvise a bit with this.
