Medieval town of Aigues Morts with it's fortified wall and countless towers. Princess walking, minding her own business: IMG_3833 by Ilona Lablaika-Williams, on Flickr WTF are you doing here? Don't scare me! IMG_3844 by Ilona Lablaika-Williams, on Flickr Sorry, here's your lantern! IMG_3829 by Ilona Lablaika-Williams, on Flickr Thank you! So what was it all about? IMG_3828 by Ilona Lablaika-Williams, on Flickr P.S. Light was awful, the orangey yellow street lights, I tried to correct but the result is what it is. Tomorrow will be daylight but also will be raining cats and dogs, not going back with the dolls. P.P.S. Did anyone notice the dragonskin pants Adam got? Also the chainmail and coif this time are his own. Models: Eve (Dollclans Vezeto + Iplehouse HID W), Adam (Iplehouse Scarlet + Granado 70Adagio)
@RabbidBunnies and @Valdemagra Thank you! Yes, lantern handover it is! Originally l took the photos in different order but this little story clicked nicely.
Ah, the southern French Mediterranean coast - that sounds warm A beautiful place for engaging picture stories. What a romantic place for the lovely couple! Yes, the streetlights or spotlights illuminating the old buildings disrupt the scenery :-| I probably would have tried to stay up all night waiting until the streetlights were hopefully switched off at some point. Especially to capture the effect of the wonderful lantern on people's faces. Thanks for sharing the little story
Relatively warm, was about +10C. I didn't go back because of the rain. It started a bit later than forecasted which gave me about an hour but it did rain a lot later in the night. And we left very early the next morning, like at the crack of the dawn, as there was a big storm coming. It hit when we were on the autobahn already so no damage from flying debris or something. My husband was driving and it was difficult to keep the car on the road although we do have automatic wind response. We stopped a few hundred km further just to relax. After a few nights spent in gas stations I got the dolls out again by the Aqueduct de Ferreres aka The Devil's Bridge. Photos coming.
Oh dear, with such weather conditions! It wouldn't be for me. I don't enjoy driving anymore anyway. Driving behavior has become increasingly stressful. Add to that these automatic headlights that don't react as subtly as humans. It's a real shame the weather conditions weren't on your side. By the way - Adam's nice trousers don't really catch the eye in the pictures. The color and the fabric seem to absorb the light. I'm eagerly awaiting the pictures of the Devil's Bridge
That's not too bad, the lantern and their outfit in general are more important. Just couldn't help, had to brag a bit. Just made them but with a different set in mind - the mountain brigand. Still need some for this set. My husband and I love to drive. The process itself and the fact that it takes us to interesting places. Or to visit friends and family. We both retired relatively recently and now enjoy the freedom. While we can! @Rosslyn Thank you! Yes, the place was fantastic! All the wall and the towers like just built, not ruins. Some towers without gates, some with small pedestrian gates, some big enough for cars to pass through.
