Pregnant doll - warning Nude doll

May 21, 2012

    1. I see a few project of pregnant doll, it is for me a good project, I always enjoys pregnant women look, so I make my own.

My volunteer is a Fantasy doll, MSD size,
My first operation is with aluminium, choosing a good size for the belly

Covered the alu give a nice belly, I need then to equalize it in size and shape it correctly to have a nice round belly.

Here is a closer view :

      and a side view :

Still a lot of work to do, sanding, painting and so, but the project beguin well.

    2. Ooooh :D
I cant wait to see it finnish
      That looks great now :)

    3. Thanks !
It's my first big mod, I am a bit scarry to do it,
Actually the milliput need to be dry before sanding, it has progress a few, more pics tomorow.

    4. Little progression,
I made a nicer belly by smoothing the milliput, I also goes for the bra, making them more big and nicer.
Still most of the work to do.

    5. Wow! Can't wait to see her all finished.

    6. I've been wanting to do my own pregnancy mod, it's so nice to see how someone else is doing it! She looks great so far! C: I can't wait to see her finished either!

    7. It looks like it's going well so far! I can't wait to see the final product!

    8. It looks godd but... I don't think aluminium was a good idea

    9. It will be interestint to see the final mod. Is the aluminum used to protect the 'skin' from the milliput?

    10. No I think the aluminium was to take up room, so she wouldn't have to use as much milliput. It helps to conserve it. Plus I think a huge lump of the putty would have been really heavy for the doll. >_<

    11. Yes that's right,
I I do it fully in milliput it will weight too much and the doll won't pose anymore.
Now it is light and the milliput will be large enough to be sanded and sculpted correctly.

I need to wait for the milliput to be dry in deep. Very hard with a massive one, easier on a thin part. Actually I am sanding the belly.

Soon some pics, still a lot of work to do, I will soon pass from sandpaper 100 to 600 water based on to make it softer.

    12. Interesting, and entirely logical. I'll keep watching.

    13. yah, me too. <W< hai fellow cobjd membar

    14. Hi all, thanks for watching, It keep drying, I have sanded the belly all the week end and begin the bra, The milliput was not dry in deep yet si I have to wait some days more, it is slow to dry becase the surface is dry and protect the inner milliput to get dry.
It must be applied in small strata.

Fir the alluminium, here is some pics of another of my projects,

      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?504974-Ahsoka-tano-creation

The head has been made with alluminium and recoverd with the milliput, it makes it lighter and allow the doll to pose.

In this doll the lekkus are too massive, I am rebuilding them wth the same method to allow the head to have free moves
      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?441616-A-new-Twilek

They are too massive and the head has difficulties to stand. Soon the new ones and soon mores infos on this project.

I am wondering about the color, the easiest way is to paint the belly in the same black color, not sur to find the same, I have to work on it. Any ideas or sugestions ?

    15. I think you should be able to mix some acrylic paint to match before you put on the MSC. Then you can use a little body blushing to cover up any seams you see from the different colors.

    16. I think your progress is going wonderfully. What sort of paint will you be using to match the resin? Good luck! :)

    17. A view of the progression :

I have sanded the belly and apply a paint. After a mail to fantasy doll they suggest me a color "chocolate" to be the nearest to their color (tanks to them, they are very reactives).

so the first lay of pain gives this,

Correction, sanding and several layers of paints are needed of course, this is just "in progress". I split the doll for easier manipulation.

There are few difference of color, it will disapear with a blush as sugest Dove, it's a good idea and help me to hide the small color difference.

The paint is a Tamiya TS1 in spray, also it works fine with the MSD, not like the other color I formely used for my Ashoka.

I also sanded the breast, I would say that this part has been much harder.

Still a few work to do. I found that fantasy doll's breast in MSD are not so cute and for a pregnant girl need to be "upgraded". I also do it for another doll but I will post it later. I am concentrate on this one.

    18. Here is some updates,

I work on it and paint it with a Tamiya TS1 paint, the nearest good color but the result was awfull. The belly was not ferct and we can see its errors on it especially at the limit between milliput and resin, when drying it move a lot (contected) and this makes a thin very visible line.

So after a big loss of moral I work anew on it and it gives this :

The withe is milliput patches on the belly. I smooth it all the evening to have a fully contact ant the smoothers link betwen the two materials. I also correct the round of the belly.

      another view :

and the global look of the belly and the other side

So back to the base, drying, sanding, painting, MSC and so......

    19. I think it's starting to look really good!
I was actually thinking of doing something like that for one of my dolls as well, so it's very nice to see someone do it ^^

    20. Now I cant wait to see her finnish :D
I think I will have a go and make one too hehehe
      It looks soooo great

    21. Yazoo, Tina > I'll be glad if you do one too, and keep me informed I'm interested in such projects too. I'll be happy to follow it.

And it's not a tuto but if I can give more advices and answers questions (or help) just ask.

      Also thanks for your support.

    22. It looks good! The curve of the belly looks very natural, and its smoothed very nicely! I hope the painting goes well! Good luck!

    23. :D wow! this is new! I cant wait to see the finished result!

Oh btw...Dark people have dark brown nipples, not pink :D

    24. I am interested to see how this turns out. :)

    25. I wish you good luck on your project and will watch for updates.

    26. Yes, I forgot the nipple, I will work on it after, I do some more pics of the project, it goes well but need to be sanded again. Especially the bra witch are not smooth enough.

Note that the doll is smaller than the pic ^^, I will finish the nipple after all other things, it's the end point of the custo, not the beginning. I notice this Rug, I'll keep an eye on the color.

On this view you can see the body with the belly, not finished, the added part on it is a bit to big and need to be sanded too and lowered a bit, but I am near the end for this part.

A sive view of the part will help us to see the global curves, she has a quite big butt that suits absolutly well to the doll. same for her new bra, the size seems good compared to the reste of the body. Still work on it to do.

The curve from the belly to the pubis seems good. In that doll I guess she might be around 6 or 7 months.

Well, a little game for you, can you estimate the month of the pregnancy ? I am not the best expert on it, so let's play.

    27. Ha ha ha! I like the guess the month game! I think thats hard to say though, because everyone carries the baby differently. I would also guess around 5-7 though. ^_^

    28. So let have the advices of the others, I correct the curve of the doll, making the breast mores realistic.

    29. Wow, nice work! The color match is amazing.

    30. She looks really good but I think her breasts so sag just a little bit more.

    31. After a failure at the bra I decided to take a hard decision :

      Remove all !

after cleaning I go back to my milliput

I take anew the bra to make them more natural/realistic

      A front view :

Still anew a lot to do but I'm on the way.

    32. cant wait to see finished result :D

    33. Never have I thought I'd hear the day of a pregnant doll. I commend you on surprising one soul.
It looks really good so far, sometimes breasts separate slightly as they get bigger, But I think the last picture you posted works. With clothes cleavage would certainly be a factor which isn't a bad thing neither. Good luck! Can't wait to see it finished! You've done an excellent job so far!

    34. She's coming along wonderfully! Can't wait to see her all done!

    35. Thanks, Actually it is drying and paint is in progress. Also the 2 breast does not look exactly in the same way but as fas as I see for big breast it is quite normal.
I'll keek it this way. next step, ressembly, hunt for defaults and photos.......

    36. I can't wait to see her finished! I admire your persistence and skill.

    37. you are so patient! I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished doll. It has been very interesting and informative watching this process. :)

    38. Here is a view, not final but I can't go further I have no more paint. Until I baught a new one I take some pic of the assembled doll. Note it's far to be finished and pics are quite bad quality.

Just a taste of the final result. I choose a black braided wig, normaly the wig is for SD and has to be modified a few.

    39. She really is looking VERY good! Now I REALLY wish I could afford the tiny I want to make pregnant...and the mini girl and her extra lower torso parts to make her stages of pregnancy. Ah well, one day!

    40. It's an amazing difference from the beginning to even this point. It will be exciting to see the finished, blushed body not only to soften color differences, but teh specularity difference between the high shine on the belly and the more matte shine on the limbs.

She looks fantastic so far though. Persevere!

    41. So, At this point I must
Buy a new spray for the legs ^^
Put a lot of MSD on her, she is too shiny. The belly reflect a lot the flash, I will take pics with my reflex as soon as it is finished.
Find cloths that allow to show her belly

If anyone need any informations on the process just ask and remember, there are no dumb questions.

Ayas > I am glad if this help you in a future project of yours.
Kuokami > The process and all its detailed is intentionnaly made to help people who want to do some kind of mod.
The purpose is not to say "see the results, I am the bast" but "I wish to share a project and all its parts and if it helps you in doing the same better it will makes me happy".

Allie > thanks, some days I was wondering if it was not a total failure.

Ronin > "perverse" mean "who like to give pain to other, I only give pain to me ^^ I love pregnant women, it is for me the most wonderfull things in the world.

Strawberry > here is she ^^
      Sairew> Your dreams are true.

    42. She looks really good so far!! I cant wait to see the finished product!

    43. Here is some view of the doll, somme small things need to be done, a few correction but most of the work is done. If you want pics in a specific position just ask.

    44. She's looks beautiful! great job.. Makes me want to consider it for the future; although, I'm not sure I could be as persistent or patient as you have been. :)

    45. Great job!!! Your mod is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. It has inspired some of us to try it too.

    46. Coming along quite nicely!

Just a note, Ronin said "persevere," not "perverse." "Persevere" means "keep at it" or "you can keep going." It was meant as encouragement. ;)

    47. Haaaa, What a mistake Kia ! English is not my native language and I am so ashame of this error.

Ronin > deeply sorry, thanks for your encouragement!

Dove, > thanks, you can see her now.
Kuokami > takes your time and I'm sure you will succeed, I will give you all the advice and tips you may need. Also if I post all stages, its to be used as a tutorial.

Dollsbestfriend > Inspiration has been given to me by others and I pass to the other, it's why a forum is important, for sharing our passion.

If you wants pics in a special place/cloths/wig just ask, I will try to do some for you. As it's an MSD it's not as spectacular as an SD.

And thanks all for your support. I still have a few things to do on her, details like upgradind the blush and so.... It will wait until I'm more confident with my paint.

    48. Looks soo great!

    49. Shes so pretty!!! >_< I think you did an amazing job!

    50. This is so awesome!!! Love it ^^

    51. She looks amazing!

    52. Wow! I love it! I've been watching this since I joined DofA and have been waiting to see the final job. I would be SO scared to try something like this! Great job! :)

    53. Thanks for all, New pics as soon as I got sun ^^
I am aslo thinking about the set I should wear her, I have someting but it is quite basic. Ideally I am looking fot cloth thats allow to see the belly.

I put her black har, braided one are from an SD wig, not really suitable for her.
Still searching for the good wig, maybe other colors ? Still thinking about her look, any advice of what could suits well to a nice pregnant black girl.

Lilded > I do it on a "cheap" MSD doll, I'll never dare to do it on a expensive and wonderfull dollsomm or Fleepe 65. I won't do it on my first BJD neither, I love her too much to custom it (except for her tattoo).
Witch model are you waiting ?

    54. Wooooooow she looks sooooo cute :fangirl:

      You are really good :)

    55. OMG... she turned out great and looks fantastic. Awesome job!

    56. She turned out so beautiful! I love her!

    57. So yes, this button is missing, as I say there a a few things to finish, now you have notice it, I can't escape and I must finish it ^^

      Soon new pics.

    58. Wow that looks amazing!

    59. You did a fantastic job. I love her!

    60. Her profile is just amazing, wow. This is really well done, nice job!
