This pattern is free! So, this pattern isn’t actually made for a doll, its a doily. But I was looking at it, and the colors were so cute, and I thought it would make a great rug for a diorama, a shelf bedroom, or a dollhouse. Especially for a really feminine doll or a younger doll. Here is the link. Let me know if you make it and enjoy it! I would love to see it used as a pretty rug, but I won’t have space for a doll room for several months. Here’s a link of a human sized rug that it reminded me of
I love this! I'm planning on using my quarantine time to do some doll crafting with my roomie and I'm sending her this pattern now! I'll update if it gets done
I think it would look like you've placed a full-sized doily on the floor of your diorama. It'd be more hole than rug. If it were enlarged to be used as a full-sized rug, those gaps between the threads would be several inches across. Teddy
It looks good when I stand my doll on it! I just don’t have a room to put it in and see it next to furniture. But there aren’t any big gaps or anything in this particular doily, which is why I chose it. And when using the right lace thread, it looks perfect for a rug. I would never try to make it with the same size yarn for a full size rug. But I think doily rugs are super cute!
