Rule Update Posting Items Currently For Sale in areas outside the Marketplace

Den of Angels is intended to be a forum primarily for owners and enthusiasts to share their collections and creations without being bogged down by advertising and self-promotion of businesses.

It has come to our attention that lately a number of professional and semi-professional doll costumers are posting images of works which are for sale or were recently for sale off-site into long running threads in the galleries and specific size doll discussion areas of the forum. The member is counting on their reputation in the community to guide people to known offsite sales sites.

Even with no direct links or commentary accompanying the images, we recognize these as violations of the spirit of the forum, as well as our policy against advertising outside of the Den of Angels Marketplace. Photos deemed to be of items currently for sale elsewhere by the poster, or pure product promotion, will be removed at the moderation team's discretion. Repeat offenders may be subject to warnings and disciplinary action including suspension of Forum access and privileges.
