I don't do or even reach for "perfect" in the photographic sense, though I always attempt to find the most effective framing and angle for whatever story I'm telling. But every once in a while, a little magic happens. These are a few of my favorites.

My favorite photo of my favorite doll is this one:

There's distracting stuff in the background and it's not the best photo but she just looks so happy to be played with. I spoilered it since technically it's not safe for work (nudity) but nothing sexual. Just a doll being restrung. I wouldn't take a photo like this with any of my other dolls because they're all modern enough to have removable heads but this girl gets to watch me as I put her back together.

Perfect has a lot of different interpretations. This is one of the first I took of Stephen and Wesley, the background it meaningless...they were just lying on a glass table, they have no real faceups, a couple of quick thrown-together robes...but the attitudes are...well...perfect for them.
