scale to be right.

Arengil: I took a quick look at your first picture and wondered for a second why there was a picture of a human, and where's the doll... XD

Here's mine: it's quite an ancient one, from somewhere around 2009 I think. Ryuu is still having ugly acryl eyes, qualty and light are, ehh... But I'm still very proud of their poses.

I was trying to think what makes one pic of mine more "realistic" than another.For me, I think it's a lot in the movement. Then, are the eyes focused, are the hands in the right position. Does the weight fall realistically. I'm curious what constitutes "realistic" to people.

Wiishu always looks natural to my biased eyes, but this one I thot caught the movement really well:


and this one of Morgaine and Vanye was pretty good, movement-wise...


And Pook doesn't want to be left out

This is the photo that looks most realistic to me because you can't see how weird Lyon's proportions are in places. xD

 

I think some of my most realistic doll photos were taken on trips...like these ones of Isar...

 

I agree, travel pix with your doll can be very realistic. We took Kara with us to Arizona last
winter. These were taken off I-5 in California.
