I'm a full time student, but I also have a part-time job at the most mind-numbing, boring job on the planet where we are not allowed to read or draw or do anything but answer the phone, stare at the walls, or talk to our neighbors. Anyway, tonight I started doodlling and drawing, which I wasn't supposed to do but I was sitting in the back so no one noticed. I used to draw a lot when I was in high school, and over the last few years drawing just isn't very important to me anymore, so I apologize for the crappy quality.

Anyway, here's my concept art for Lawrence!

The only doll I planned with a concept was Rhunei (and I posted this elsewhere ... sorry for spammage ^^; ) :

 

I only tried once a quick sketch of a dolly-to-be. Cinnamon, trying her to look like a DES

 

Design sketch for my Soony Special sleeping head -- she's going to be an Oni-girl named Kitsuko (Kitsune-child). I'm going to have to make (or commission, more likely) a red and black kimono for her!!

Her open-eyed head is going to be a Goth/punky girl named Jessamine -- I'm going to have to save up for a BW Luts girl-body for her, but in the meanwhile she and Kitsuko will have to share a body. She'll be my first disembodied head, LOL!! I've bought all the rest of my dolls with their bodies and heads together, see

Oh, and in response to the question earlier in the thread -- yes, I'm an artist, my work can be seen on the website in my signature line!

This is the kimono that I have in mind for Kitsuko . . .



The design was inspired by the work of eBay seller kimono-japan, who I'm considering commissioning this kimono from, once my finances are in better shape.

Here's one of Kaspar Rose that I did a few years ago. Looking at it now is kind of embarrasing because I can see how little control I had over the brush and ink, but it does capture him pretty well...

here is a little OC sketch of two of my future dolls, I think they will be a hound and a petite ai uriel :grin:
Their names are still undecided though :/

I didn't draw to design Adrienne herself, but I have been designing a lot of clothes for her. Here's the only one I have scanned (flightofswords is working on this one for me!) but if you all want, I can scan others as well.

As for those of you who I owe commissions; I'm working on them.. I'm lazy, like an artist is supposed to be.. XD

Character whom Machiki is named after. I named her after this character because I really wanted her to have this style as far as clotehs go but hey, can't sew! When Machiki arrived, she's turned more into this Machiki than I planned. ^ ^;;

Roscoe and Ellen. Ellen is the shorter one with the pale ginger hair, Roscoe is the taller one with the darker hair. I love Ellen in this pic This is old though, from about a year ago. When my scanner is fixed I'll put the new ones up.

I'm just trying to decide who's going to be their bodies. Ellen was originally a Mir but I'm torn between her and a Pitts for Ellen. Roscoe will probably be a Yen or Zen. Modded, to make her nose more fem.

I did have a plan for a doll which i have scrapped, to be called Forgotten. She would have required having her lips removed though and I can't see that as a good use of resin or money. So Forgotten shall remain on paper only.

My last doll will be based on one of my first comic characters that I originally made up when I was 12. I'm having a really hard time finding him a powder blue wig.

I started this picture recently, but I just can't motivate myself to finish coloring it. I'm so lazy.

 

Yeah! Luc is actually based of a webcomic character of mine. The webcomic has been on hiatus and I really loved his character, so I was really excited to get him in doll form. =D


That picture is like three years old, but Hitasura made the outfit he's wearing in that picture so I had to post it. XD

Armelia - Have you checked at Leeke? Their Milk-blue is pretty close to that.

 

This one was originally done when I was planning to get an MSD FCS with the bat ears...cause they were bloody adorable. The redhead is a minor change from a character I was and am still writing as the MC in my novel series. The blonde is one of the other MCs, and he was to be bought be my bed-creature once they had the money ^_^



THEN I moved away from Volks and over to DOD because their facemolds were more accurate to the character. This one (a little big, I know, sorry!) is an illustration of the character from the book.

*0* Everyone's art is just so beautiful and unique! I don't know how you guys do it. xD I have a couple of mine to add, but I'm a little embarassed of them, because they are both a little old. ^^;;;

This is a pre-existing character of mine from a rather long story that I've been writing for years. I know I've spoken somewhere else of creating this doll, but I never put up a picture. This is Arcane, or Horousha, who I am currently in the process of acquiring parts for. ^^ I just recently go my extra set of arms, so now all I need to do is buy another body, which I think will be a bw yder special. Oh, warning for boobs.




This isn't the sketch I have for Hollow, but it's a concept I've been working on for him, since he and this character are distantly related but look very alike. Hollow is a Souldoll Imagined Lune and is on his way home!

Today I was doodling how I wanted my future Soo Ri's make up, with the X-mas promotion pic underneath... here the thingy is... I know it sucks! You don't need to laugh!

Here's the concept art for my second doll, Cyrean. My drawing abilities come and go, so I simply took the idea into one of those interactive doll maker things and then recolored the things I didn't like (for instance, his hair was originally a powder blue...)




And yumi, a tablet is kinda the computer equivalent of a pad of paper and pen. The tablet itself is flat and picks up whatever you do with the pen/stylus. I'm so dying to get one for myself as I can't draw worth anything with a mouse.

Go here to find out a bit about tablets, this is one of the more well-known brands.

 

This is how I wanted Kivara to look. Turns out he didn't feel like it. =_=' Tell me what you think? I drew this on the computer. For those of you familier with Loveless, I used Ritsuka as a reference.

Also, before CH came out with Azrael the Domuya special: I had a manga character named Azrael that looked like this: DISCLAIMER OF SUCKY ART DRAWN IN 2000 AND LACK OF ANY CONCEPT OF SPEECH BUBBLE PLACEMENT




That was more a case of ZOMG CH AZRAEL LOOKS LIKE MY AZRAEL ::BUYS:: than me actually making a doll based upon my character.

 

Yeah... did this yesterday so I figured I'd put it up here:

Here is my concept about Chôcho ^^



actual I want a Shiwoo elf, but I had no money to buy one... know Chôcho is a normal Shiwoo (erhaps I try to make him elfears^^)

Haru and Chôcho are characters from my stroy ^^y

 

This isn't actually Harumatsu. He didn't have a character prior to arrival... But it *is* one of the two fellows who most heavily influenced him.

This is Karrusatva Shijin-Po, one of my (many-) Exalted characters. He's an Eclipse... a calligrapher, a pacifist, and a priest of Li Ming Lun, the Serif Maiden (a goddess of scribes from the South-western quarter of Creation). Harumatsu's demeanor and personality are very close analogs to Karru's.



The other influence was my onnagata Eclipse, Sparrow. Alas, I've never had any luck drawing Sparrow... Harumatsu's "look" is almost entirely his... Although his personality is wildly different.

I can't really draw... so I altered one of the LUTS pictures in PSP to help me visualize what my not-yet-shipped El will look like! It's kinda like art...
