    1. [Doll nudity ahead]

      My Popovy Sisters Little Owl arrived and I'm in love <3
      She's the Little Owl sculpt in Ivory with a Body III, ballet feet and magnetic Body II hands. She was painted by the Sisters. I also ordered a stand, blank set of shoes and a little necklace.

      The outer box was super sturdy and lined with bubble wrap. Here's the inner box with the Sisters' logo.

      The COA is just as pretty as the box.

      The first glimpse! She was really carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition.

      Look. At. That. Face. She's so pouty and perfect. I'm still in awe of her makeup.

      Her body blushing is beautiful and seems to be pretty durable. I love the scattering of little freckles and her tiny moth tattoo.

      Here are her magnetic hands. They are so sturdy and don't have any risk of falling off.

      A few final photos of her wearing a temporary wig while I wait for hers to arrive in the mail. I imagined her with darker hair but this one is growing on me. She has such a sweet, delicate face <3

      She can't stand on her ballet feet (perhaps she could be balanced in the right shoes), but I don't mind because I just really love the look of her feet and plan to use her stand any time she's upright anyway.

      Her posing is completely magical. She stays exactly where I put her and she has a wonderful range of motion. Knees curled up to chest, cross legged, hands cupping her face, anything. It seriously feel like magic to move her around.

      I could not be happier with her and am so thankful for the wonderful experience I had working with Igor and the Sisters to make her just right. I knew she was going to be pretty fabulous, but she totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks for looking!

    10. The more I see of the Popovy dolls the more I admire them - the sculpts are so detailed and they have this wonderful ethereal quality about them. Your girl poses and photographs beautifully and she has such presence! ^^

      Thank you so much for all the sweet messages! She really is a such a joy to pose and photograph and it's so nice to have a community to share them with.

      I really like the 3-part torso. The movements are subtle, but I love how the pieces look and the little bit of extra flexibility it gives. I can't stop photographing her right now, so here are a couple pictures of various sitting postures using all of those torso bits.

    41. WOW simply WOW!! I can't wait to see her in the wig you ordered from the sisters. I have other BJD's but I always seem to come back to Popovy. There is something magical about the dolls and I never tire of looking at them. Igor, Lena, and Katya are a pleasure to deal with. They always seem to go that extra mile.
