It's insane how much they sell for. She's exquisite.

 

I have no idea. I don't even know how much they cost blank. Probably a lot, lol!

I want one of their Venus bodies one day but they're not a priority for me (I've already bought three dolls this year, time to slow down... well, unless the one I want from the marketplace goes down in price, haha........).

I'm hoping they'll do Venus with more joints eventually. The new Venus Madonna is WOW, what a bombshell!

@Eresmia - Sending you hugs, hearts, and all the good feels. I remember those days, the prices seemed so high back then, but now they seem so quaint and reasonable. At one point, the sisters had 20% off when Covid hit. Those were the days when one could order a Popovy doll with a face-up, body blushing, and a wig. And if one had extra money to spare, one could order an ensemble too for a full set effect. It wouldn't cost over $10,000 either.

Sad that the sisters discontinued Quetzal, and the prices for that mold in the secondary market went through the roof once the sisters announced they woud stop making her.

 

Yas! I saw that one being offered for sale on Facebook in one of the Fashion BJD groups. What colors did you order your Peewit and 2nd Little Owl? If you can, please share pictures of your Little Own when she arrives from the spa.

 

Where are good places for second hand Popovys? I've found most BJD groups aren't my taste for the most part...

 

I look forward to seeing your 2 new Popovys dolls in all their splendor. The two Landy listings you mentioned that are for sale right now in chocolate and grey skin tones are very pretty. It's nice to meet someone else who is also a member of that FB group, it's such a fun group and it's solely devoted to MSD high fashion BJDs.

Regarding the marketplace here, I have heard the marketplace here is one of the most vetted places to buy a doll second hand. I look forward to applying. In regards to the forums here being active, with anything in life there is an ebb and flow to things. This is anecdotal, but I do see certain threads are very active with other genre of bjds.

@Erasmia - Those prices for the full sets are eye watering. They have built a following of devotees whose pockets are very deep.

 

Hi! Can someone clarify the difference in Ivory and Coral skintones. I'm having trouble seeing the difference, I was under the assumption Coral would be slightly more peach, (in tone) but i've been reading threads here and some have said it's more" neutral/cool" than ivory. I'm confused.....Help please..
