I love all the knitting patterns, but quite a few of them don't have enough information. So I'm begging every knitter who posts a pattern to please include the following: name of the thing you're knitting (broken photos happen a lot) brand and sculpt of doll you're knitting for AND the height of the doll weight of yarn you're using size of needles you're using AND what sizing system you're using: UK, US, metric, etc. gauge of knitting - stitches per inch This is critical. The above information allows other knitters to understand and appreciate all the work you did to post your pattern. Thank you very much!
would it be possible for people to link more Ravelry patterns too? If they've uploaded it there of course
Good question! As for me, I post my free bjd knitting patterns exclusively here on DoA because I couldn't post them on Ravelry. (Their process was so opaque, I gave up.) My best suggestion is sign up with Ravelry (it's free) and search on "bjd". You can then click "free" as a filter, if you like. Ravelry has about 95 bjd knitting patterns for sale and 44 free ones. Some Ravelry authors might not be DoA members and vice versa. I hope this helps.
