My twin Nurs; Parker the one in yellow and white is riding English. Her twin brother is Harrison in blue and white jacket, who is riding Western. They both went on a trail ride today. The weather was ideal and it might be the last chance for awhile as snow type weather is in our forecast soon. So from a hot summer to a cold Fall that will feel like winter it has been a bad year for outdoor photos. So lets enjoy these photos as these two take a nice quiet ride on their horses, Jester and Beau. The kids will ride next year but the horses will get new equipment so the kids don't look so awkward in the saddles.
Mine are taller then most MSD Kids so if your crew is on the average size around 43 cm or less they will be perfect. I suggest you buy one, take it home and then put doll on it before you remove from box. If it looks good; great! If it looks to big or worse to small take it back to store and look at other options.
The saddles came with those horses, but I do miss how they used to be made with double cinches. Now it's only a back cinch which in the real horse world would not work. If you only can have one cinch it should be behind the front legs and away from the esp the male parts. Unless you like riding a pogo stick of a horse. I have taken to gluing the saddles are parts added to make these work. But over winter bareback pads will be made and the horses will get cleaned and repaired and have a nice fresh look come Spring.
Thank you all. Of course winter has hit and hard so no outside photos for a while. Hopefully the twins will get to build snow people but we need wet snow as right now it's like ice.
