China seems to be in a bit of chaos right now re: COVID and shifting lockdown regulations (can't find any reliable info about what's going on in the manufacturing centers) and I've given up on getting any of the orders I currently have in limbo. Are there other places to buy from? I know Volks sells things but most of their clothes are limited releases
Etsy is a good place to find independent artists who make doll essentials in your country! You just gotta be careful because I feel like in recent years there has been a big influx of people who just resell stuff from aliexpress on there. Usually it's pretty easy to tell which ones are which, though, when you look at their shop as a whole. If the photography, doll models, and style are consistent, then it's probably not a reseller/dropshipper.
Etsy just make sure it’s in your country. Instagram as well has some artist that sell their handmade things and if your okay with secondhand stuff people sell on there
The US dealers I buy from are Doll Peddlar and Denver Doll. I search things on Etsy and filter by location but it can be limited and I still buy from international sellers a lot, including ones in China even though the wait can be longer. Korean companies like TTYA are quick, so are some sellers in Thailand.
If you're willing to buy things secondhand, I absolutely recommend Dollyteria / DOLL UP!, they'll combine shipping between their storefronts as well. They get lots of Japanese exclusive artist items that you normally couldn't get without a shopping service, and lots of stuff new in box as well. There's also Mandarake and Yahoo! Japan Auctions, again mostly secondhand but tons of new in box/never open stuff. Manda won't combine shipping between storefronts though, so I usually do 1-2 orders of several items from one storefront. Best of luck on your search, and I hope some of your packages stuck in limbo will arrive within the next few months at least!
Nine9 Style, Tree Design, Dollmore, Luts and Iplehouse are all Korea based shops with nice clothes and accessories. ForMyDoll is Korea based and has some really nice wigs. Fabrics Friends & Dolls is a US based dealer, most of what they sell is in stock. Eyeco is US based and has some really awesome silicone eyes!
Freedom Teller, Sartoria J, Migidoll, Sadol, Leeke World, M de H, Petite Soiree, Switch, TTYA, Crobi, Chicabi are also Korea based.
