Pipos PO-11 Size Tinies

I don't think so...they look the hands on my kids. I agree 100% on being sad about the upper joint disappearing. I love the three-part bodies.

I wonder if you can buy the little crown with the basics? They don't mention it, but it's shown. It's so cute.

I'm bit sad about the 2-piece torso as well, I prefer a joint at the ribcage or underbust, it poses very naturally with clothes.
Also I'm curious about the event cat head, my Charlotte could use a boyfriend! Too bad you can't get them in that lovely tan, though.

 

I really wish I could get on the LE sets but there are only 8 sets of the sienna skin Luna... And I really hope they sell the crown seperately...

I've fallen in love with both the sienna Luna and the lovely Rosie (I believe the new cats belong to this thread as well since they're PO11 sized?). I've been looking for a tan yo-SD girl, but so far there hasn't been any that would interest me enough to think about purchasing. The first teasers of Luna I felt like I MUST get her, after seeing the rest of the pictures I wasn't sure if her face is what I want after all and after seeing the blank picture I got the must-have feeling again XD As for Rosie, well she's just adorable, who could resist that face? I just got a Ringo and Rosie would make a lovely big sister for her ;__;

Luckily I'm not interested in the fullset and as both Luna and Rosie are available as basics I'm not in real hurry to get them. Though the event offer of getting the head as a gift sounds tempting.. I wonder if Pipos will sell the new PO11 bodies separately so that I could get a body for the Rosie head later?

 

I'd love to get the full set of sienna Luna but I really don't have that much money now. I'll probably get the basic version one day. But it seems like the crowns are special items that can't be bought seperately? Is that right? Because the crowns have no price tag yet...

 

They haven't added prices for the clothes and other stuff yet either, only for the dolls. So I guess that the prices for the crowns etc. will be added once the sale starts And there's also size option menu for the crowns, it probably makes no sense to add that if the page is only for showing pictures?

Exciting to see how soon the fullsets will be sold out..

Pipos added the new heads as separate items! And the crown is available as well, it'll be $20. Pah, now I have no excuses, I could get both a girl-Lloyd and a Rosie

I think Lowell Luna is REALLY pretty. Though, I'm already paying stuff off so I really don't know if I could warrant getting another doll Regardless, she's really adorable.

 

So, Pipos posted that they were up about 20 minutes ago, but all the fullsets still say Sold Out. The basics are available. Did they actually sell out already, or is it just a delay on the fullsets?

Not that I'll be getting a fullset. $500+ with shipping puts her out of my price range. Basic ahoy!

I asked Pipos if the event cat head girl is actually the same sculpt as Rosie, just to make sure and they answered yes. I'll probably be ordering basic Luna next week once I get my paycheck *o*

 

Pipos updated their 'Manuals' section for the new types. R Pi and U Pi appear to be almost the same height, but U Pi has proportions more similar to traditional YoSD dolls.
I like Rosie but I may wait until they release her in another color, I'm just not feeling the pale peach.

Couldn't resist - just paid for an L Luna limited. Her faceup just called out to me! And the outfit was too adorable to pass on.



*There is only 1 L Luna limited left! 3 M Luna Limited, and 4 J Luna. I am incredibly glad I bought mine today without waffling - I would have been crushed if she was already sold out. I'm guessing by tomorrow she'll be gone.

Congrats justkatie179! Wow, they're selling out fast.. I was surprised though that one of the frogs sold out first, would've expected Lloyd and Luna to be more popular O.o

 

I REALLY want a sienna skin lloyd! ;A; I know i won't have anywhere near the money need to buy him as a limited doll...but that's alright. I'm still aiming to get him basic! >> I just REALLY love his color ugh he's so handsome ;A;

I actually don't really like the new U PI cats...I kind of enjoyed the more mature body of the R PI more (then again I may be a little biased as I own an R PI. I do like Leo's face though.

 

I wish I didn't waiver It really does stink X__x of course, this is usually what happens to me. I seem to be wonderful at missing out on things at the last second.

 

Going, going, gone! I can't believe the green frog sold out first! I'm so sorry you missed out Sakuramei - M Luna is just as cute, and there are still a couple of her left. I've learned the hard way to not hesitate ... too many times kicking myself afterwards.

 

Yeah... I don't know why--but something about L Luna spoke to me more even though it's essentially the same doll (B wig anyway). I think part of it is I'm just more of a pink person so I'm not as fond of the blue dress and blue gems on the crown. It's too bad the basic doesn't come with the wig But yeah, I may think about it--I could always sell the outfit :/ But I really did love L. Luna's outfit--especially the flower accessory.

You'd think I'd have learned my lesson considering every doll I've wanted so far has followed the same kind of situation. X__x and usually, even if I knew I'd be able to pay it off, I'll feel bad for various reasons and it's just a vicious cycle </3 I think only once has it been justified (where I really just wanted the limited outfit over the doll itself), but most of the time, I really love the full package and it only hit me a few weeks ago even with that "justification", I probably couldn't split it with someone. I think I'm just cursed to be unlucky with these kinds of things

It'd probably be less of a bummer if I didn't have her in my cart and was just double checking some things. I just need to stop worrying so much sometimes :/

I noticed the survey event too and took part It's so great of Pipos to have such a raffle. I also hope that they have time to actually go through people's answers and suggestions for new releases, they might get some nice ideas.

Haha me and a friend of mine suggested those stories too! XD We love birds and since Pipos has such a variety of animals it'd be great to see some bird dolls from them as well.

Many many congrats clochette ! I guess they told the winners by email since there doesn't seem to be a list of names on their website or anything? So it probably means that luck wasn't on my side this time as I haven't got any email.

 

I really really really want a sienna skin Luna, but I am very confused about the Po11 bodies. In her photographs, she has the single piece torso, but I want the 3-piece torso. Does this mean they no longer offer the older body?

I don't understand why they changed the body the way they did. It is not an improvement at all. In what universe is a single torso and hip joint better than a 3-piece torso? I hope they will allow customers to choose or else they are only decreasing potential sales by not offering the better body.

 

Unfortunately, they no longer make the 3 piece torso, and won't be offering it at an option for these kids. Right now it's two part with a hip joint, and the last version was a two piece with an underbust joint which was nowhere near as poseable. It's the main reason why I'm hesitating to order Luna in sienna, because then I can't put her on an older body.

Believe me, I've already talked their ear off about the change, how the three part body was so superior, and how they should make it available as a choice. More comments can't hurt, so you might want to let them know your thoughts.

Adorable! My crown arrived yesterday...it's a bit bigger than I expected, but it's really well made. They sent it in a ginormous box! Guess that must be the smallest size they have. My LTF is wearing it at the moment, but my husband ordered me a tan Luna for our anniversary, so she'll have a crown waiting for her when she arrives.

 

She's beautiful!

Makes me regret even more on missing out on her.

I noticed this tweet on their twitter. I wonder if this includes Gift edition dolls like Dorothy and the others. If it's true, I'm not sure whether I should just wait or order a doll now before the current ones go out of stock. I've heard stories of Pipos discontinuing dolls that were said to come back, but never did. I don't have enough experience with the company to know how they usually go about renewals though... ^^;;

I decided to ask out of curiosity because I didn't think 'Gift Edition' dolls were considered the same as 'Basic Edition'. She mentions they could release these two with different concepts, so I'm assuming they may no longer be the Wizard of Oz theme in the future if re-released... o: Also, the reason I said 'sold out forever' is because I initially asked this question before I saw the tweet about 'remakes' lol. XD Anyways, I think I'm just going to order and not risk it. There's a 'could' in there and that's enough to worry me about missing out! :P I'd be way too heart broken if I didn't get Tin Man without all the amazing Wizard of Oz-ness. >___<

I was checking out the list of off topic dolls yesterday when I saw that Pipos Tin Woodman was no longer on it. It took me by a bit of surprise, so I asked the mods if he was now considered on-topic for DOA to make sure! The answer was yes, he supposedly fits under the new cyborg criteria! :3 YAAY!

Yes, I'm still kicking myself for not getting a Namoo tiny when they were available. I kept waiting for them to make a girl in that size, then he got discontinued. The Po7s didn't have that great three-part body.
