Rei: ...and so boys, that's how the baby Krishna came to be known as the little butter thief.


Megumi: Wow! You know so many neat stories. Tell us another!


Tsukio: Yeah! Tell us another!


Rei: Now, now, boys, it's way past your bedtime.
Boys: Aaaawww!
Rei: Don't worry, we've got plenty of time together for me to tell you more stories. Now, off to bed!


Megumi & Tsukio: Good night, Uncle Rei.
Rei: Good night, my dear boys.
Tsukio: Stop nudging me, Megu-chan!
Megumi: Oh, for kami's sake, Tsukio, get over it!


Momiji: *kiss* Good night, Oniisan. I'm sure glad that you're here.
Rei: Good night, dear boy. I am too.


Rei: Well, good evening, boys.
Keizo: Good evening, Rei. Um, Rei, could we ask you for a favor?
Rei: Certainly, my boys, what is it?


Keizo: You probably know that Mitsu and I are engaged. Well, we overheard you telling the boys that you are an ordained minister.


Rei: Indeed, I am an interdenominational minister. I'm able to perform a variety of ceremonies in traditions from Voodoo to Shinto. What can I do for you, my boys? An exorcism perhaps or a new car blessing?


Keizo: Um, well, actually, we were hoping that you would be willing to marry us. We realize that it may not be recognized by the law in most places or by most religions, but it is important to us.


Rei: Oh, my, I would be delighted to officiate your nuptials! Do you have a date set?


Mitsu: Not yet, but I guess that it can be fairly soon, since we have everything else ready and just needed someone to marry us. Thank you so much, Rei!


Keizo: Yes, thank you, Rei! You don't know how much this means to us. Well, I guess that we should be going to bed too. Good night, Rei.


Rei: Good night, boys. /Hm, this is a delightful family. I'm certainly glad that I chose this over becoming a wandering ascetic in India.../

So, it looks like the wedding is near, so keep tuned to this station. :grin:

Yes, there is definitely going to be a wedding sometime in the next couple of weeks. Keizo and Mitsu have waited long enough, since their controversial engagement last November. Mitsu has graduated from school and is finally over 18 and now there is someone to officiate, so they just need to choose a date and location. :grin:

Am -- There certainly will be honeymoon pictures -- but I don't think that I'll be able to post them here. :wink:

StephG -- Almonds will be much appreciated!

Fyredancer -- Rei has turned out to be quite a character and he'll probably never run out of stories.
