Photo hosting

May 13, 2015

    1. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but who is everyone using to host there photos? I use an iPad and Flickr doesn't support the copy function anymore. Photobucket hasn't in a long time. I have no way to post pictures here anymore. :(

    2. Not sure what you mean by the copy function not working, but I use Photobucket and have no problems posting pictures here. Do you mean the IMG link copy feature, because that still works fine on Photobucket for me.

    3. I am having problems with Flicker at the moment as well. Apparently I have an unsupported browser or something.

    4. Does it work when you are using an IPad? Used to, you would tap the link and a box would pop up that said "select all". When you chose that box then another box would pop up that said "copy". Neither of these functions work on Flickr nor Photobucket anymore :(

    5. Oh, my apologies; I do not have a IPad specifically, but I do have a Lenovo tablet and it's allowing me to copy the IMG URL just fine, at least on Photobucket. I don't have a Flickr account, though.

    6. Thanks for letting me know that - I just tried Photobucket again and it is working :)

    7. Sweet! That's good to hear!

    8. This thread is a little old and as I have started to visit DOA again after a long while, just wanted to check in with the best/easiest site/tool for hosting photos for DOA? I used to use flickr and photobucket but wasn't enamored with either and primarily use my android mobile for any pictures and very rarely crack open the laptop.

Any recommendations would be fabulous :)

    9. Photobucket now charges mega-bucks for photo-hosting. I'm using Flickr

    10. Thanks Teleri :)

    11. PostImage.org is a free service and can be used on a cell phone.

    12. Imgur is pretty decent in my opinion, you're also able to put multiple photos into their own gallery as you upload them if you prefer to keep organized as you work. Just make sure you post them privately if you don't want community comments.
