Peroth head by Esthy Discussion!

I saw him, and I'm in love - now it's just a matter of whether or not I feel up to the challenge of finding a Korean buyer to buy a super limited head that every seems to want already. And that's not including the Koreans that may have had their sites set on him for a long time now. >_<

If there were to be an international order, how many heads of the 18 do you think would be open for overseas buyers? I can't imagine it would be many...

 

Ditto to what chappy-chan has said. It was instant love with him.....but I am trying to not get my hopes up since he looks very very hard to get........

 

blurgh. the fact that his release date is so close and we only got the news today isn't helping much either. hopefully it'll be like limhwa where there's an ordering period every now and then

I second everything here! ....Omigawsh I've never wanted a head so bad D= theres just something about him.....hopefully he doesnt become a limited and thrown off into the abyss....theres no way I could buy it now...an all the preparation an even so we aren't sure about international order T_T. Just seems like another dollie I can't get :P

Excellent that she is doing international sales! I don't care how but I will get this head! Should be able to swing it with no prob though.

 

I'm definitely going to go for one... I had been wanting a Tsukasa head, but this one is actually far better for my plans.

 

Now the hard decision of what skintone.....white or natural XD. Prob go for white....just cause I prob have to get a volks boy body for another head so they could share until he gets his own body...... which will be a long, long time XD.

 

I saw the news page and he is so gorgious, his moody eyes have a ton of personality potential. Sadly i'm going to have to miss out on this one.

At any rate, you might want to add a link going to the original news page just for the sake of quick access. If someone wants this guy and can get him, then from the sounds of it there's no time to waste .

Sigh, I love him, but I also love his face-up and she won't be doing face-ups for the international orders. I don't know whether to order him or not. Now that I've seen him and fallen in love with that particular look, I don't know whether he would be the same if he didn't look that way. I like the other photo but the one on the news forum is exactly how I would want him to be. I don't think I've got the skill to get him looking like that and how would customisers feel about being asked to make him look the same?

 

the NS matches the Volks pure skin NS, Kage's body has to be shared again.

 

I was thinking the same thing - that it's probably the FCS white that it matches. But can Shoofy or somebody maybe let us know for sure that it's the FCS white and not the Limited dolls white skin? It would be much appreciated.

Regarding a suitable body size for Peroth, I was wondering how the short neck from the SD10 boy body will look like. Is it like how the F16/F28 heads look when placed on an SD10 body? Like how the head will be too big compared to the body's neck and shoulders? x_x Coz other than sanding down the neck part on an SD13 body, I'm hoping he'll look okay on an SD10 body too since his head size is 8.5inches around which is considered to be a small head.

 

I'm only just now learning about this handsome guy. D:
He actually looked like a Volks mold when I saw him.
I think he looks great, only...the neck...seems a bit awkward.

I think he would be nice for a doll I want, but I originally wanted him to be an F-16. Still not sure yet.
If he's not readily available, I'll have to go with my first choice, F-16.
Anyway, I hope I as well as others get a chance to own this guy.

yoake: I think you're right about the SD10 body. But I'm not sure how good it would look. Still, maybe someone will test it out.
Looking head on, he doesn't look so bad on the SD13 body. And maybe hair would cover it? I don't know.

 

I just noticed the neck part a few days back too. T__T

Maybe a Heath body instead of a regular SD13 might fit better? I think tehy're necks are slightly slimmer.

 

Lawl, and here I thought I was the only one that thought his neck fit funny. C':...

I'm going to try a different body all-together. Maybe DoT (gonna airbrush the head lawl)... Or a body over 62cm in general. C':

 

I can't believe I'm just learning about this boy. He is Gorgeous.... Any Idea as to whether Esthy would do a face up on one of these heads or not

No you'd have to have one of her faceup slots and she only takes 5 a month from Korea and that period has passed already. ;;;

Hmm...I'm planning to put my Peroth head on a Dollstown boy normal skin body, since I read that many people say DT normal skin matches Volks normal skin perfectly. But my worry is the neck mechanism ^_^

Does anyone know that the Volks head doesn't have any problem on the DT's neck mechanism? If there isn't any, then it means I can also put the Peroth head on the DT body no problem ^^

I've got a Kohya head on a DT boy body, and there's no neck mechanism to worry about. The Peroth head is a bit smaller than a standard Volks head, it appears (the Volks neck looks a bit big with it) so you might have to sand the neck on the DT body lightly (I know my DT body's neck is almost too big for my Kohya head) but that would be a matter of preference.

I LOVE my DT boy body.

Oho. I love his expression, for some reason I have this thing for sullen boys. I'm dirt poor right now because I acquired the Nanuri-2007 event head from Luts, but I'm looking forward to seeing people post pics of this beauty.

 

Anybody know approximately how long the waiting period will be for the international order? Can't seem to get to the website, and i know it's the rainy season there now. >.<

My relative there says its been raining like crazy for the past couple weeks.
I wouldn't mind getting the head a bit later if she is able to avoid the rain.

Another question about DT-bodies (sorry if it's off-topic, but it's for my Peroth-head too, so maybe it counts ), does dolltown sell the bodies seperately or only with a head? I can't find this anywhere.

 

On the site it says 15 boy body under the English order section.
So my guess that they sell it separately
