Bio:
Jasper isn't my birth name. Hell none of that is my real name and yet its all I know now. I am Yanji (silent speech of loneliness), a son of China... a emperor. A Emperor dethroned by men I trusted, men I called my friends who I once adored... My empire was take over and I taken as a prisoner of war. The kingdom of Li (parting) was claimed in the name of my enemy and I was forced to watch as my people and my land were taken from me. I was a disgrace--too my family, to my ancestors... And yet the Emperor of the enemy land would not grant me death. No, he kept me in the lap of luxury even as a prisoner. Several days after my capture I was summoned to meet the new ruler. I figured my time was up, that my life would finally be taken and my embarrassment ended. But that was hardly the case. I stood in the royal garden awaiting the man but when I was called out too and I turned to meet him my world changed. Upon sight I became light headed and wary. I tried hard to focus and regain myself but as he spoke what seemed to be a rhyme or saying of some sort I couldn't stop myself from dropping to my knees and eventually blacking out. "Rest." It was the last word I heard.
For centuries I waited in what seemed to be a dark abyss conscious and yet not at the same time. Though time passed around me I felt little change until one day I felt myself being moved. It was a horrible thing, being what I now know as transported. I was not aware of the move from Asia to Michigan but the move from there to further south was just dreadful. I digress; in the process my consciousness became more and more clear and with it came awareness. Where was I? I found myself becoming more and more anxious until I heard the ruffling of a box being opened and felt the bounds of my being being lifted away. The world around me was... It wasn't mine. That alone both terrified me and amazed me. After a moment the talking around me caught my attention and I felt my body being lifted up. I wanted to scream. I couldn't. I wanted to raise my hand and stop the person. I couldn't. Using all the will power I could I summoned the power... To kick my new owner in the face.
I think she named me Jasper out of spite. Who the hell wants a name meaning 'speckled stone'? Still its better than silent speech of loneliness. This is my new prison now. I wasn't killed or forced to become a servant of the Emperor. I was turned into a mere doll. I was rather bitter about it at first but now? ...I suppose the world isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Especially, when your owner takes care of you, you don't have to lift a finger and can kick them in the face and get away with it. I suppose that's a bit untrue though. Once she was aware that I wasn't your typical...doll--I hate that word--she made sure that I made myself useful. And I did. I have a... Job so to speak. I make deals with people; I give them what they ask for and when that half is completed I get my compensation. From souls to money, its never clear what I'll ask for. But so what? There's a price for everything. I learned that the hard way.

Quick Bio: London was orphaned in his young teens and sort of raised himself. He now attends a special boarding school for 'Exceptional Children'. (Imagine the Xavier school set in a 'Supernatural' type world, minus the angels and demons plot lines, just the spooky/dangerous stuff happens). He has sort of adopted/been adopted by a gifted tiny child, a pink haired girl named Poppy who is about five years old. He's very protective of her and she is extremely attached to him. Although normally she'd live in the children's dorms, she lives in London's dorm room with him.

London is a quiet sort, he likes reading and sketching and does very well in his classes. He's not sure what the future holds for him and he's not quite sure how to even plan for one since he grew up sort of not expecting to have one. The school, the Outerbridge School for Exceptional Students, takes very good care of its students. Most of the students call it the Outerbridge School for Wayward Weirdos.

He likes to go for walks in the woods, he knits, and sketches a little bit. He likes RPG video games, and at some point I'm going to make him some gaming systems for his scale. He's gay but he's a fairly private person so not everyone knows, although he doesn't make it a secret either.

Interests in A Penpal: Another school aged student around his age. He wouldn't be really interested in someone frivolous or ditzy. Supernatural type things wouldn't really often come up in his letters because he wouldn't talk much about them. What I'm sort of imagining is that a class is assigned a pen pal kind of thing as part of a class project. So if you've got a student who would be doing something like that, it'd be ideal. It could be an older student as well, maybe a college student who London might be asking college like questions of.

I'm not super into OMG ANGSTY past, London prefers to leave his in the past and move on, which is not to say no angst, but London would be overwhelmed by a giant twisty angsty penpal. He's looking more for conversation and casual letters. Postcards would also be super cool!

I would be interested primarily in photo stories around them writing each other letters and/or e-mails. I would also be interested in making and sending in scale letters via snail mail. I love in scale doll props.
