Background and Bio: Shouta grew up in a wealthy youkai family back in the feudal times. He is a Tengu youkai and he was an only child of the clan leader. His clan was wiped out by hunters when he was 8 years old and he was left to fend for himself there after. Since he was hide away by his mother before the hunters could attack them she left him with many valuables that he ended up using to become wealthy himself. By 13 he stopped again, so he's a very old youkai stuck in a 13 year old's body. He then traveled the area of Japan and finally moved on to China and then Europe where he met a his wife, Sinnie.

His wife acts as his sister to fend off suspicion from humans because they life alone together. She appears to be 16 years old, but is slightly younger than Shouta...and taller. They both live in the states where they pretend to attend school. They own a condo in a quite area of New York where no one bothers them. Though they do get questioned time to time where their parents are, so they have come up with a pleasing lie over the many years, that they are away over seas on business.

From time to time Shouta has a youkai acquaintance of his send photo to him of his mate and himself, so he may use them and say they are his parents. Also this is where years of living comes in hand because he uses photo shop quite easily to modify the photos and put him and his wife in some of them so they look like a family.

Personality: Shouta can have a short fuss when it comes to his height because he is shorter than his wife. Since he was from a royal family, in youkai standards, he can act kind of high and mighty. He is very sassy (don't say that he is to his face though) and can sound like he's being rude but he's just being himself. He is a bit shy though, ask Sinnie and she'll tell you the tale of how they met. She finds it to be a bit hilarious because of how he acted. All in all though Shouta is kind...in his own way, Sinnie can vouch for that whole heartedly (one reason why she married him was because of his kindness). He is very active though and loves going out into the wilderness on camping trips with Sinnie. He needs a lot of activity because as Sinnie would say, "He's like a hyperactive child that was given way to many sweets and can never sit still."

Jude's past:
It was in the mystical city of Marrakech that Jude's life began. Egyptian by blood, he was found by a fortune-teller where his parents had abandoned him, hidden amongst the rolls of carpets and market stalls. The fortune-teller took him in and cared for him during his childhood years, happy to finally have a son of his own. He also took it upon himself to teach the boy his art and noone was more surprised than him to find Jude had a natural aptitude for it; none of his predictions were ever wrong.

When Jude, then 15, predicted a noble man's death which then occurred the week after exactly as predicted, the fortune-teller realised that the day he had carried the baby over the threshold, he had taken a living, breathing seer into his home.
When the family of the man returned demanding an explanation, believing Jude to have been the cause of their relative's death, the fortune-teller packed the boy up with as much as he could carry and told him to run as far away from there as he could. The fortune-teller waylaid the family whilst Jude escaped the city and lost his life to save his adopted son's.

Jude's present:
Since then, Jude has wandered aimlessly across the globe, introverted and aloof from everything around him. He has been unwilling to allow others to get close to him, afraid of what he may see in their futures and almost always refuses to tell those who ask. Sometimes he'll do what he can to 'save' those who would soon be faced with death or suffering and travels from place to place helping where he can.

Currently, at 19, he is working as a coffee shop barista in a small town to get some money together for his next trip. Despite his lively workplace, he is lonely and has found it hard to make friends in this little town.


Personality:
Introverted, thoughtful with a quiet, dry sense of humour, Jude does come off as reproachful when first met. He doesn't mean to be, it's just his method of self defense and also to protect those who are trying to get close. He's also a sly little thing, learned from his time in the Marrakech markets, with a coy, sultry look to boot. His playful side does exist, he promises!

Jude's interests include literature (lots of time on the road means lots of time for books), films (he spends too much of his money on trips to the cinema) travel (so many places he wants to go..), videogames (escapism...), you get the idea, he's a bit of a nerd at heart. Really he's happy to chat about anything, listen to people venting/complain with them and swap stories! His power is a big part of him but he's just another 19 year old boy inside.

Physically:
Jude is very lean and cat-like, a dancer's build, honed from years of acrobatic free running in his home city of Marrakech. He is elegance itself when he wants to be...
His eyes are a striking blue, unusual amongst his people and his hair a rich cocoa brown, somewhat dried from the heat of the sun and sand of Morocco.


Interests in A Penpal: Jude has subtly pointed out attractive males with an interest in adventures across the world are very welcome but really he welcomes anyone as a friend.

Quick Bio: Kiseki's life is a bit of a mystery, not wanting to share his past with a lot of people. What he does let people know is that he is a bit anti-social, not trusting people so easily. If people come up and talk to him, he will do the polite thing and talk back but wondering why they would talk to him. He has a love for the guitar, playing it every night and whenever he isn't busy. He does come off as cold but that's just him being careful and weary of people when in reality he is quite nice. Dont know if im allowed in here? This thread came closest to what i was looking for.

I really love to write snail mail, pm, email etc, but feel highly uncomfortable with writing from the perspective of the doll.

About me: Im 35, im an MD (no, not a Monthy doll, a Medical Doctor). I love to talk about dolls and all aspects of life. Quick Bio: Caane is a species of alien known as a Baratol. Despite having a very reptilian appearance, their kind are in fact mammals. Caane grew up on his own planet, but ran away to escape being drafted into the Maar Militia (basically a death sentence). He now lives on an inconspicuous planet known as Earth. He normally keeps to himself partly from shyness and partly from having to hide his appearance. Quick Bio: Ellie is currently studying in a Finishing School in France, as her parents are often away on business trips. She spends much time indoors reading of places far away, but longs to see them in person. Even though she is trying to be lady-like, she still loves to run through the grass barefoot when no one is there to see. She is a very curious girl, shy at first but very friendly and patient. She shouldn't take too long to warm up to people, and would love a pen-pal to practice her english with. She has a pet rabbit, and loves small and cuddly animals. Owning many different wigs, she changes style of clothing and appearance often. Because she likes different things. She fights for it every day, but lives a normal life now. Quick Bio: Ivy comes from a large art-related family. Her mother is a model and occasional actress and her father's a musician and she also has a bunch of siblings.
To avoid making the same mistakes they did with her older sister and brother, her parents decided it was best for her to keep her away from the spotlight. She was sent to Portugal to live with her distant aunt (myself) when she was barely 6 years old.
