I have the Antu cat girl, they're really good-I love how poseable they are considering the price

 

They’re so good! And the clothes are well made too.

 

I also ordered one of the Adou boys, loved the little grumpy face! Looking forward to his eventual arrival, wondering which one I'll end up getting.

 

I have one of the bunny girls and another Antu on the way. I will have to check out the Adou boys too!

 

I was actually planning to order a set today, this was a good reminder I've heard really good reviews of them, and they're super cute!

I just ordered a set from Jane's dolland, but it won't let me create an account. I have done the "I am not a robot" thing several times and when I hit submit, it says cannot verify. Anyone else have this issue? My order went through just fine, I don't know what the issue is.

 

@jenlovesdolls I’ve had the same issue at Janesdolland. I have ordered in the past and I got the order, but it is a pain that I can’t seem to create an account. I haven’t emailed Jane to ask how to fix it as I keep saying I’m not going to be ordering much, lol.

 

I didn't have that issue myself (I can log in and see my order in the history), that's very strange. I did end up doing the full set yesterday, and I might order another full set, or at least a few more, in the future to do as giveaways when I run panels, because it's fun and keeps people in the room until the end

 

It is odd that it won't work. I tried several different times and finally gave up.

That is a nice idea to use them for giveaways! I can't wait to get my set

 

They're cute! I have the sheep, who is a pretty good poser, although her legs are somewhat too tightly strung but hey, she still holds her poses.

 

so i ordered 2 of these dolls from janesdolland, and on the website it currently says that all pennys box orders are being shipped out within july! i was just wondering if anyone's gotten their shipping notifications yet! it's so hard to wait

 

I ordered end of June, and still am waiting for my order. I only ordered one box, so I’m hoping to get a notification any day!

I spent today sewing underwear for my girls as it bothers me they didn’t come with any. I used an Obitsu 11cm pattern and it fits.

 

i ordered around that time as well! i'm really hoping for at least the sheep, and i also love the bear. the wolf is cute too! i like all of them really!

also, from what i've heard, ob11 clothing seems to be kind of hit or miss with these girls? if anything maybe on the big side? i'm very unfamiliar with this size doll so bear with me sewing for this size will for sure be an adventure for me!

 

I just got my shipping notification! I’m really hoping for the cow or bear, but any will be fine, even if it’s a repeat.

I think Obitsu11 dresses are ok, it’s the pants that might not fit as their hips and bums are bigger than Obitsu. The pattern I used has an elastic waist so I was able to get a good fit, so maybe pants with elastic waist could fit? It looks like Obitsu11 tops would fit fine, just removing the head is more of a task with the Antu girls.

Im debating getting the extra head piece to try different wigs. It would give them a totally different look!

i got my notif a couple days ago and it hasn't done anything yet... that period of time where the label's been created but nothing has happened is the WORST part of waiting

 

OMG don't I know! Especially when you drop stuff off at the post office and you KNOW they have it but they either don't scan it or sit on it for a few days! I stress waiting on both ends

I would love to see, but I deleted my IG because I got the new horrible update that only showed me ads and reels and none of the content I was following. I don't know why they had to ruin it.
On another note, has Imgur changed as well? I can't even get into my photo area and it still lets me upload photos but doesn't give me all the options for posting on forums etc like it used to.

 

oh yeah i totally understand leaving instagram cuz of crappy updates i'll try to post some photos here when i get to my computer later!

and i'm not sure about imgur, i actually use flickr for uploading photos and i find it pretty easy (once you figure out how to do it)! there's a great tutorial here showing how to upload photos from flickr.

I love seeing all these positive posts about them! I have a box with an Antu sitting in my room. I'm waiting to open her so me and my friend can do a box opening together because she got one too. If I like her I'm sure I'll order the Adou one because I absolutely love their style.

 

These are so cute and well worth it seems for the price... especially since Janes dollland seems to have an extra headpiece that allows them to wear actual wigs. Looking forward to seeing more of y'alls dolls as they come home!

 

I was able to get my girl today, Ann and she’s the sheep. I’m very happy with my girls and hope the company makes more series. I’ll have to look into how/where to order a couple of the boys.

I went and found the Adou boy series at Kika Goods and got the case of six as I really fell for the red haired boy with the ponytail and the white haired boy. I love the blind box part, but I wanted to be sure I got the two I really wanted (and pay a reasonable price). Kika Goods has free shipping if you order over $50, which at their store is easy to do! Don’t go there if you are weak to cute and adorable!

 

Congrats! I hope you share photos of your Adou boys once they arrive, kurogane. (: I have been tempted by these, but I have to stop hoarding things at one point (small as these are). I am mostly interested in how they look without the clothes, since the body they have for sale nude, looks quite different from what appears to come with the boxed dolls. I am also interested in the red and whited haired boys, but the loose body is not as appealing to me as the one in the promos. I am also not sold on the optional head-cap not being the same color as the dolls actual body. Although I do understand why they did that, they were able to have optional hands in matching colors so it's kind of weird to me.

 

That is a dangerous site, so many cute things! I am looking at that octopus plush they have (my husband loves plus octopus and christmas is coming lol)

 

@Enzyme I agree with you about needing to stop hoarding! I looked at my room and decided I need to do a serious clean out. I’ve decided I don’t need the head piece as me and wigs aren’t on the best terms, and why struggle. I’ll just be keeping the dolls as they come, lol. I was excited when I saw the bodies sold separately, until I realized they don’t have any faceplates to go with them. I guess you are supposed to do hybrids? Nah, I’ll pass.

@jenlovesdolls yes, so much cute! I’ve fallen for the fat tiger plush, but am holding out as I don’t need any more ‘clutter’, sigh.

They're so cute, and bigger/heavier than I expected... I've already ordered another box, because I do BJD panels and have always wanted to give away actual dolls, instead of just accessories. At $20 for a strung doll, these feel like an excellent way to do that for several panels in a row! (I may also keep one extra for myself, I got the no-hair headback and extra hands so I can customize one a bit, but I haven't decided which one... and if the second box has the chase one, I'm keeping her too.)

Mine are out for delivery today, I may open them on camera and post them on YT. I am terrible at it and usually only do that for my few friends but I recently made a few public and may do that with this one too. Got to start somewhere I suppose

I've been thinking about it while waiting for my second box to ship... which of the six basic ones do people think might be the least popular/least exciting to pull? I'm still not committed to which one to customize (other than that it won't be the sheep since I bought the regular color hand set that matches the other five), and since I'll be doing the rest as giveaways I feel like pulling and messing around with the least "exciting" one is the way to go. But I have no idea which one that is!

 

It would be a really fun meetup idea to get a fullset of these and open them together to each get a surprise

You just have to have exactly 6 people at your meetup lol

 

@samovely is right! I went back to the Adou images and the joints are like an Obitsu.

I didn’t realize the boys are not like the girls (on a strung body). Oh well, I guess if the bodies break easily I can hybrid to a YMY body. I’m not too disappointed as I have many similar doll bodies already.

 

I am not sure how others would feel, but my least favorite is the cat...and I LOVE cats. I like her color scheme but she just don't find her as cute at the others.

 

I ordered a box of these XD because so sweet! And I do like me some tiny dolls. Dying waiting for them to ship though (it's okay, I'm being impatient just because I can't wait to see how tiny cute they are irl!)

I might have a problem with liking small, cute things too much. ^^;

@kurogane omg those tiny chairs you have for them are so sweet! They look like the kitchen chairs I got from IKEA XD

 

@bentosmile I found the chairs on Amazon. They are 1/6 scale and come in a pack of four, all different colors. They can even fold up!

I purchased one of the girl's just to see if I liked them (I hoard too many other OT toys, to hoard one more line), these are too cute to pass on so I thought one couldn't hurt. I am super happy that I got the bunny, although I would have been happy with any, but my preference is always dark-black-hair, so the cow and the wolf would have also been ideal. I like the quality and heft in-hand, they appear to be very well made and priced.

I have one question for those who purchased multiple of the girls, or any with the hands sets. Which ones would match the bunny girl? I see some sellers having three different plastic colors, but from their promo it seems like the girls only come in two plastic colors. I would love to get some of the optional hands; I always like having optional parts whenever they are available for the toys I own. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question.

I'm also curious about the Simon Sugar Series, but I haven't seen much information about them anywhere else, other than on that one online website. I hope they have removable hair, like Penny's Box.

 

@Enzyme those dolls are cute! The product description says ‘hair piece’, so I guess it could be removable, but it could also mean the hair style. The listing also said fabric clothing, but the pictures look like plastic figures. Guess it must be artistic rendering of what the finished dolls could look like? It’s nice to see more of this type of doll!
