The EMS tracking website says his "Guaranteed Delivery Date : 2013.02.04" so, Monday. Curse you, weekend! *shake fist*

If you mean this boy blue, I actually have that here waiting for my little guy (along with Maximo which is my favourite, and Cason). I can have my little dude model it for you if you want.

 

Anistasiya : Those are all nice outfits! I'd love to see your boy modeling the "Boy Blue" one. Also, which site do you use for EMS tracking? I had a doll from another company ship today and I'm wondering if he'll get here Saturday or Monday. The one I've used in the past doesn't have a guaranteed delivery date listed.

 

I just use track and trace. Sometimes they give a guaranteed delivery, sometimes they don't. I actually can't remember the last time I had a guaranteed delivery date actually. I pretty much suspected he would arrive Monday anyway. Our country is tiny compared to yours so things arrive super fast and usually clear customs within 1 hour-half a day and is at the depot near me later that night.

 

It's not giving me an estimated date, but it's showing more information than the USPS site. Oh, well. I might try to get a friend to pick up the doll I'm waiting on if he doesn't come Saturday, since I won't be home to get the mail any next week. That's lucky that you get your stuff so quickly! It really varies a lot here. I've had EMS packages from Korea arrive in 3 days, but it usually takes 4-5.

 

He's on the plane at the moment, and google informs me that his flight is due to land in Sydney at 7:20 am. I once had a doll land at Sydney around 4 or 5 in the morning, cleared customs within an hour and was on board with the courier at the depot near me (about 45 minutes away, Sydney is just over an hour) by 7am or 8am and at my place by 10am-12pm. I think if the package isn't cleared before 7am, I have to wait the next day because it seems like the courier starts his round at about 7:30am. It depends on when it's posted as well. If it's in the morning or early afternoon, it'll be boarded on the plane the same day. If it's the end of the day the package is processed the next day. I've noticed it's always the same flight for all my korean doll packages too, lol. Flight KE121 (except for the latest one which was OZ-something). I'm going to laugh so hard if I ever take a flight to or from Korea and it ends up being KE121, because I know I'll be sitting above some Australian's doll or doll related items.

Ususally your country's mail tracker won't start really updating until it's landed in your country. For example, the Australia Post website just says that my package has been logged in Korea (meaning they've scanned the tracking barcode at the post office) and it's been recieved and ready for processing (which means it's ready to be send to the airport). The Korean website informs me that the package has been logged, picked up, gone through the airport sorting, and boarded the plane. Lately, once my packages land in Sydney the korean EMS website will stop updating once it enters customs (it used to update when my package left customs and was sent to the depot and then on board with driver, but I think our mail guys have been pretty lax the past year or so). I then switch to the Australia Post website which tells me when that it's on the van with the courier (the korean EMS website still says that it's still in customs, heh). It kinda sucks because it will sit at "Arrival of Inward Office of Exchange" for ages and you don't know if it's been cleared or if it's just sitting there waiting to be cleared or what, 90% of the time, they usually arrive on time. One Australian girl here almost had her package sent back to Korea because Luts wrote her postcode wrong, but luckily she was tracking it and noticed it was heading in a weird direction, so now I've been watching my tracking like a hawk

 

Oh, that's so interesting! I'd never thought to just look up when the flight will arrive. My boy (not my peakswoods, the little monica one) is on OZ246 and should arrive at 5:05 AM tomorrow in Chicago. So, they'll probably try to deliver him Monday, and I can (hopefully) get a friend to pick him up at the post office Tuesday. I'll definitely start tracking my packages this way in the future instead of just using USPS.

Anyway, definitely post pictures of your boy once you get him!

The Korean EMS website (track and trace) says my little Hucky cleared customs and arrived at a delivery depot at 8pm on Friday. The Australia Post website tells me the depot is Chullora which is 50 minutes north of here *sigh* so close... *grabby hands in a general northerly direction*

Here is my little Hucky with his big sister Alice (Souldoll Liddell). I can't decide on a name, it's going to be either James or Charles (since Lewis Carroll's (who wrote Alice in Wonderland) real name is Charles Dodgson. Alice was based on Alice Liddell, get the connection? Hehe). I think I prefer James though, and so does the fiance, so... yeah. Meet James "Charles" Hamilton! PW sent me this little... thing... lol. I didn't know what it was, until I found it on the website. Thank you gift since I ordered in 2012 during their 10th anniversary event. Now they just need their father (IOS Sezz) and step mother (Luts Xia) to come home from their honeymoon and their little family will be complete (I'm waiting for them to be re-released). I'll take some more pictures when I'm more awake. He stands like a brick though and the resin feels so silky smooth to the touch I also noticed two areas inside his head that are about the size of those small doll magnets, so I'm guessing you can slot some in and that allows to you give him horns and stuff like that.

Got my shipping notice yesterday!

I was doing a massive house cleaning day, so got distracted by that and didn't post until now. Hopefully by next week I'll have my girl!

 

Reviving this thread as I'm waiting on my FoC re-designed WU Lottie!!! I finished paying off her layaway a couple of weeks ago, and she's supposed to be shipped in about a week or so can't wait!!!

 

O wow congrats! I can't wait to see photos Lottie has the most adorable smile. What body did you get? I'm waiting on an A.B. Rogita. I ordered her in February; it was supposed to be a birthday present for my mom but its already passed it. I'm hoping to get her just in time for mother's day

 

Thanks I got the FoC body for her with L bust. I really like the AB body and I think it's gorgeous and very elegant. But my girls are teenagers so they can't have such mature curvy figure with long legs LOL

Yes...the anticipation is slowing driving me mad...that and the fact I'm broke and can't buy any clothes for her at the moment coz I'm saving for another limited doll. When she arrives she will have to sit around wearing my handkerchiefs.

 

Eeek--I'm not sure if I posted here already or not, but I'm waiting on Bella the Moon Into the Woods - full set, white skin, large bust. I originally placed the order on 2/21 through Denver Doll, so I'm hoping she will ship anytime now. I'm getting very excited! I'm looking at everyone else's short shipping times and just not being able to contain myself!

 

Last week I ordered a FoF ChiChi and a FoB Wake Up Lady Bee thru DDE, so I know I have a bit to wait. Once they get here, I expect I'll be back because there are 2-3 other Peak's Woods kids on my list.

I paid off my Vampire Briana on 3/30. On 4/11 I asked them when she would ship and they said the next week. Still haven't received any shipping notice. It's been several weeks since then. It's hard to be patient.

It can depend on the doll you order. I have ordered several of the FOC and AB dolls with face-ups. From the date I ordered (order paid in full), it took between 8 to 10 weeks for my dolls to ship. I am sure the time can also depend on the number of orders they are making at the time too.

 

I was originally planning to purchase another BJD, but I ended up ordering a FOB KoonieS (I've had my eyes on her for a while) and I can't be any more excited. I just placed the order this morning, so she won't be here for a while, but I'm very relieved the saving process is finally done with. As for everyone else, I hope you receive your dolls soon! Peak's Woods really seems like a great company.

 

BethL--that is amazingly fast! And OMG--I cannot WAIT to see her! I think she's going to be gorgeous. I have to say I am sort of kicking myself for not getting one of the Utopia dolls.

perwinklestars--if she still hasn't shipped, I'd go ahead and drop them a line to ask. They are really friendly over there!

kayjay--I'd agree with Beth, too. It can take as little as 30 days (and sometimes less) and once, as long as 6 months (when I ordered through DollHeart). I'd say they average about 10-12 weeks, for most of my dolls, when I don't use lay-away, though.

BerryPeachy, I am SO excited to see your new girl! I have been wanting to see one of these girls, but secretly hoping that PW might redo the FOB body this year. (I don't know for sure that they will, but they are now offering the AB body, which is double-jointed, plus double-joints for the FOF body, so I was hoping.) I think KoonieS is just adorable, and I've loved her sweet face since she was first released. Congrats!

I have several of the new teeny tinies articulated monthly fairies on order now, and am still waiting on Bella the Moon from Denver Dolls. But I finally have an outfit (Angell-Studio) for tan Rabbit Goon. He is such a cute guy!

Thanks! I think the tan just keeps getting better and better. I have one tan doll that started kind of orange, though she has mellowed out nicely as the years have passed. But this guy--wow--he makes me wish I'd ordered one of the recent Utopia LEs.

I tried that on an older package...and apparently my country sucks when it comes to that. The package arrived all right but we don't seem to have the option for tracking international packages in our post. As soon as it left the country of origin *poof* it disappeared off the face of the earth and arrived one day at my doorstep, leaving me to chew my fingernails just worrying about it.

 

You were right! I asked them about it and they apologized and shipped her right away! They said something about the makeup taking a long time. I don't care, I'm just glad they shipped her!
Your little ones are adorable, BTW. I love those outfits on them I need to get my little vampire Hucky girl something new.

So... I broke down and bought Coco Rain and Moonie, two of the new articulated tinies from Peak's Woods on 5/9. They already shipped on 5/21, and they should arrive today! I'm so excited. I'm hoping the heads are the same size/scale as the previous Monthly Fairies, so I can swap them out and use other expressions. I'm looking forward to seeing how PW handles this size.

I wanted to know how long it takes them to ship and it was hard to keep track so I stole the idea from other threads and did this. please feel free to update or correct changes.

But seriously, compared with other threads it is kinda empty...but look on the bright side!! This means they have more time for each order and will ship faster!!! yay!!!

 

My two are on order thru DDE, so not sure how much that will add to my wait.

 

yuan_mdx - Thanks for making this list! I didn't know they shipped out their dolls so quickly until now, compared to others companies at least. That's really nice to hear (maybe my KoonieS will be shipped out sometime next month - crossing my fingers).

hmm....I was just looking at perwinklestars order and it seems they DO NOT start making the doll until everything is paid off unlike iplehouse who starts production when you pay the first layaway...Some people choose a long layaway so when they do pay it off the doll is almost ready and they dont' have to suffer through waiting. There was even one person who says the company emailed to tell them that the doll was READY to ship and all they were waiting for was the rest of the money! bizare...

You know, I'm pretty sure they don't often start on dolls until your lay-away is paid in full. Or they haven't been doing that until recently--unless you're a frequent flyer, so to speak. I did have a pretty large order a few years ago, and I'm a regular customer, and I'm pretty sure they must have started on my order before I was done paying, since my dolls shipped within a month of my paying them off (and there were a lot of dolls). But I think it depends on how often you've ordered from them before, and what you're ordering, and possibly if they have a show coming up, as well. They probably don't want to be stuck with extra inventory if you cancel.

Here are my lovely amazing tinies--I am really blown away by these little guys. Oh my goodness--I want them all. I ordered Moonie and Coco Rain, and they actually sent me Cloonie Coon (Pan's birth month!) as well, with a little thank you note as well. I ordered two outfits and two wigs, and they can wear Amelia Thimble (Wilde Imagination) outfits, too. Of course, they stand on their own and pose all by themselves, no help needed, right out of the box.

I am getting so impatient for Bella the Moon to arrive! Ack! I haven't seen any yet--and I am really wanting her to get herself here, already! Not a good attitude for a BJD enthusiast, I know. A very dangerous attitude, in fact. It's sort of a shopping mood.

 

I can't believe I've missed this waiting room! I ordered a white skin Vampire Goldie on a short layaway the end of April, paid her off fully in early May.
Judging from the list she could ship any day to a month from now. I'm hoping it's closer to the "any day" part XD

 

karrigankat - Vampire Goldie is really awesome, congrats! Yeah, and Peak's Woods shipping dates do seem to vary quite a bit. Overall though, they seem to be rather quick.

That's great news! I just emailed Peakswood about my order; anyone here order from Denver Doll? I was wondering, did you get an order number? Or do they not give order numbers? I didn't get one, I only placed an order than emailed one of their reps about it. I payed in full back in February and haven't heard anything since.

 

I've ordered Fairyland dolls from DDE before. I remember calling them a couple of times about any updates on shipping. I don't think there was any order number, but if you send them an email they would be able to pull out your order by your email address. They are very prompt at replying to emails. They might have a guesstimate about your oder, but they'd have to wait to hear back from PW for confirmation. Hope your dolly arrives soon!

 

Oooh lucky! I wonder if that means my girl will ship soon? Their shipping dates seem to be all over the place :S

 

Thanks Hypercurve for the info! I was nervous about the order number; I though I had misplaced it or something But I contacted Peakswood and this is what they said:

Hi, bennek.
Yes, we received the order from DDE on March 19th.

The first box was shipped one or a couple of days ago from here and that box had Rogita.
Another box will be shipped next week and this box will include Rogita as well.

So I am not so sure what date exactly but I guess your Rogita will be in your good hands pretty soon.

I hope I'm not annoying you guys to death with talk of my order, but I heard from Peak's Woods that my KoonieS should be shipped late in July. I'm super ecstatic, especially since that's pretty fast considering how busy they've been this Summer. All these One-Offs are really impressive!

Ah, that's awesome that you're getting a KoonieS head! Are you planning on using another company's body for her? I was originally thinking of purchasing a Little Monica body for mine, but I decided it'd probably be best just to get her the default one for now. However, I'll probably replace it in the future (especially if Peak's Woods comes out with a double-jointed FOB body soon).

 

I think I will make her a hybrid! I've used Little Monica bodies for Peak's Woods bodies, and also have found that sometimes Soom, DollMore, IH, and Souldoll can work. I'm really hoping for a DollChateau for KoonieS, though.
