It's ironic, I'll refuse to spend that sort of money on myself, but a dress for an SD girl that's only $40! Bargain!

I can't sew either, and am a knitter who is gradually learning to crochet, but the kinds of things I want I could never make. Although I'd love to get some outfits similar to Angell Studios work, I'm hoping they release some new stuff or restock soon - everything is out of stock :/

Woo hoo! I found out they shipped my vamp Hucky girl and she sitting in US customs! They didn't email me, but I get antsy and go to the site and check order status almost every day. The tracking info was in the details. I can hardly wait!

Just contacted Peakswoods about my Lady Bee. Apparently I'll be waiting another month for it to be shipped. :/ Pretty disappointed by this. I've already waited 3 months for my Cho to get in from Migidoll with no excuse for them not meeting the deadline and even lying about when dolls would ship. I wonder what the hold up is.

 

Vivz I'm sorry for you have to wait so long for your girl. Apparently I have to wait as long as you do or even longer because I have ordered mine with faceup too. I hope the time runs fast for us though.

Hello everyone! I'm not yet joining the waiting room, I have only a preliminary question. When you put a doll on layaway from Peakswood, do they start working on it right away and then let you know when it's ready, or do they only start work when your layaway is paid off? I'm debating whether to layaway or not and this info is the deal breaker. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

 

I'm not 100% sure. But I put Briana on layaway early December, and then paid her off in January or early feb I think. And I waited about three months. So I think they probably start after receiving full payment. But I could be wrong! Lol

I ordered a PW Naomi the 22nd of March, and they said they'd ship on the 12th of May for me. But after messaging them again, they're now telling me that it's going to be all the way until the 30th. I'm definitely pretty bummed about this. I never expected this kind of bad delay

 

It seems like most companies has delays with their dolls nowadays! Wonder why?

 

I don't know. There could be reasonable explanations, such as bad weather effecting resin setting. But I certainly have a hard time believing that. I always have the picture of dollies sitting in shipping limbo in stacks of boxes..

 

My and sherimi's Lady bee & vampire Hucky both without faceup (ordered march 9) arrived may 29 so we waited them over 2 months.

I'll be making my final payment on my five-month layaway for a Hucky tonight! I'll be interested to see how long I'll be waiting in addition to the five months since I placed the order. Good thing I've learned LOTS of patience since I started collecting BJDs.

My Hucky shipped out today! Tracking # works and everything...

She's here! I got my lovely little girl yesterday, and she was every bit worth the wait! Peaks Woods does such a nice job on their face-ups, and I love her little old-school body. She kind of reminds me of a Volks, in a way.

This room has been pretty quiet for a while, but I thought I'd go ahead and throw myself in! I ordered A.B. Queen of Hearts WS the day they were released (yay free shipping!). Since I have a Bloody Alice, I figured she'd make a good villian!

I saw in the discussion room that many weren't too fond of the White Queen and Queen of . Oh well I'm excited anyway. Peakswoods has def become one of my fav sculpts! I'm interested to see this new A.B. body though. I'm sure I'd digging it right now.

 

I'm so jealous! I really want a red queen, but I think I will have to pass this time around. But I love the new head!!!

I'm waiting for my shaia..I paid her off about a month ago....I can't wait!

 

Oh wow already paid off! Congrats! I look forward to some pictures - is she coming soon? Luckily I was able to pay my Queen of off in one go, but the Williams is on a 6 month layaway - what WAS I thinking (I was thinking WILLIAMS! Droooooool).

I can't wait for September when she comes though. It'll be nice not to have to wait a long time (unless there's a delay.... OH NO think positive thoughts!).

 

Heya! ;w; I'm ordering a Mori Moth with a boy body (le gasp). At first I really wanted Punky Beetle or Pop Moth, but the character I have in mind is a cheery pastel-wearing boy who smiles a lot, and I realized Mori Moth has that sweet smile I'm looking for!

I've never ordered from PeaksWoods before so I don't really know what to expect as far as wait time. ;w; I have a H. Kirill from Dream of Doll and that took 3 months to get to me. Dx Hopefully it won't be that long again? haha

Anyway, I look forward to chilling in the waiting room with you guys.~ :0 I don't really know much about PeaksWoods bodies, so hopefully they have good posing and joints and such? Any info would be cool since I'm a PW noob. ;w; Thanks!

 

Im pretty much a PW noob as well but I've heard good things about this company so I'm excited and congrats on your order the Mori Moth is really cute XD As far as wait time I ordered my boy mid June and I saw that he just shipped out today!!!! I've been checking the site regularly (read: obsessively) but I wasn't really expecting any changes so imagine my surprise when the order status said on shipping!

 

Ooh congrats!! How exciting, that's not a bad wait time at all. Chesire Goon is so cute. I've never really been interested in owning anything under MSD size, but Rabbit Goon is one that always catches my heart; maybe I'll end up eventually joining you on the yo-sd PeaksWoods wagon! haha. Thanks! I hope you join the PeaksWoods yo-sd wagon too. Their yo-sd's are just to cute. I considered Rabbit Goon for a while but Chesire won in the end. I'm going to try and get lots of pics up pf him when he arrives which could be any day now. He's already at LAX and out of customs!

 

Haha seems like my friend (who didn't know about PeaksWoods) is super interested in joining the PW yo-sd wagon as well hahaha. She really wants a Lady Alice and Vampire Hucky badly, it was instant love. xD We've never seen a PW box opening for the tinies before. I know you'll be taking lots of pics of your boy, but will you be doing an actual box opening by any chance? :0

 

LoL awesome. Tell her to join My boy came in yesterday and they are very cute and sturdy little dolls! I'm pretty pleased with PW so far. They even gave me a free monthly doll all blushed and everything. I wasn't expecting that.

As for a box opening I took some pics before and after and had my sister record the actual opening and snap a few pics during because her phone can do cool stuff like that but it wasn't anything real official. I'll have to review the video to make sure I didn't make to big a fool of myself and if it's passable I might put it up somewhere XD

I just read on the website that anyone who purchases any full doll from them until the end of 2012 will get a free monthly fairy, and they're given according to the ordering month. But the fairy's months only seem to go to July, so I'm not sure what they choose to give you after that point. xD I'd really want the Woody fairy. ;w; So cute.

 

Oh really? That would explain it then. I got Coco Rain and I actually really like him. I didn't think I was going to but I do. He even has matching purple eyes like my boy which I thought was really cute XD

LoL that's exactly what I did. I unwrapped him and was like "oh he's adorable!...which one is he?" So I had to go look him up and saw he was a lot cuter in person than the first glance at the photo led me to believe.

 

Ok, after a few complications I OFFICIALLY have this doll ordered as of today. ~w~ Ahh that was such a headache and a half.

So I have ordered my Mori Moth with normal skin, face-up and boy body today on 9/29. It seems I will be receiving the Fiona monthly fairy along with him. Hopefully it will only take a maximum of 3 months to receive, but I'm hoping for 2. :/ Haha we'll see how that goes.

Either way, I'm glad to have ordered my 2nd bjd thus far! Onward to more! haha

On my order, the status says "confirm receipt (credit card)"
I have no idea what this means, if my payment got accepted or not..? The day I payed all the money left my bank account so...

If anyone can confirm to me that it's supposed to say that or not...That would be a great help. ;w; I already emailed the company, but it looks like they're not answering very fast...I would like to know since I ordered a little more than a month ago!

 

Ah never mind! Today I got the notice that my Mori Moth is being delivered!! So excited, I had NO idea it would come this soon, I was definitely thinking it would be here mid-December! Will update again when he arrives, and give the total days I waited for an MSD for anyone who ever comes into this waiting room in the future.

 

Right now I'm waiting for a wake up Lottie which will hopefully arrive tomorrow. Excited!
And today I ordered a White rabbit goon in the event who I have wanted for a while now. I almost want every single peakswoods doll. I'm kinda crazy about them. He or as I think he is going to be a she will be my 6th peakswoods doll. So today is my first day of a long wait for like 11 weeks or so. Maybe more now when many people are ordering the winter event. Still I'm very Excited ^_^

 

Just wanted to note, I received my Mori Moth as of November 23rd! He's GORGEOUS! Love the delicate faceup, I'm extremely happy! Might put up pictures in a thread later, but for anyone ordering a Fairy of Bug (MSD) size doll from Peak's Woods, it took mine 57 days to be made and received here to America. Pretty fast!

The doll came in a blue box with 2 pink pillows, and just the most important parts were wrapped in bubble wrap (hands, head, feet). He was layed in a fetal position in the box and came with extra hands. Also, I received Bow Jjang, a PW Monthly Fairy, for free with the purchase (very cute!).

No problems with the doll, just a slight mark on the leg (easy to clean), and he's stringed VERY tight, so his legs keep buckling naturally into a bent position. I noticed that compared to my other MSD (H. Kirill from Dream of Doll), the head circumference seems bigger, so it's a little harder to fit a standard MSD wig on him. He stands and sits very well.

There was a slight problem I had with communication with the company (not answering my email), but in the end, very, very pleased with my purchase and definitely will consider shopping with Peak's Woods again!
