Waiting on my Rabbit Goon. Its been 45 working days. I hope she ships soon!!

 

Fingers crossed for you Blyss, I have no idea how long they normally take. It's been 9 working days for me and it's already killing me *lol* I'm still trying to figure out a potential name though so I'm sure I've got plenty of time to mull it over

 

I'm waiting to hurry up and pay off my Briana layaway asap! But I'm trying to take it slow (I'm a soom nut and not knowing what their two new lines hold is making me nervous!)....waiting to pay her off....then waiting for her to be shipped...so much waiting! Lol!

 

I'd say it's a rather safe venture Britt, if you don't like the look of either of the new ones, you know you can pile the funds on your lovely Brianna

 

That's what I'm hoping for!!! I have pretty specific ideas of what I would want for future dolls (especially from Soom), so I should be safe . I just can't wait to get my first PW girl!!! I ordered her a dress from the dollheart Halloween collection (which doesn't help with my trying to pay her off early plan...but a girl has to have clothes!). I'm just sooooo excited!

 

Btw, I don't really collect little dolls...but I was soooooooo tempted by the rabbit goon and Cheshire! Did you get full makeup and blushing?

 

I've done the same thing and bought a Dollheart Indigo Fer set off the Marketplace, I'm actually thrilled knowing they use Peakswoods as models so I *KNOW* it will fit.. none of this "will it, won't it?" until she arrives and then finding out one way or another. It's probably the only one I'll really splurge on but you're right, she has to have something!

 

Just the faceup. Figured I didnt want to wait all this time and then have to turn around and send her out immediately.

 

I think that makes sense, plus they arrive ready to go so to speak, I waited a couple of months before sending my yaoyue off for a faceup and even that was hard enough

Although I have to admit even if I'd had the option I would have gone for the vamp goldie faceup, I think it's just adorable! I sat there with pictures of each different limited and normal goldie comparing them to see if I could wait, get a wake up goldie and a different faceup but vamp goldie won out ten times over :3

 

I would hate that Blyss!! Plus Peakswoods faceups are sooooo cute!

Lioness- so your girl is blank? Goldie is on my wish list . I was so happy that peakswoods agreed to give me the vamp faceup on a basic Briana! They are so nice.

 

Britt, nope, my girl has the vampy vampy face up Peakswoods are just so awesome about custom requests though, their customer service is brilliant - can't wait to see your vamp Briana sans teefs *lol* I'm sure she'll be stunning

I'm waiting on my FOF Vampire Hucky. =3 I've been staring at him on the website for about half a year and, when I got some extra money (heehee, I'm gonna be a poor college student quicklier this semester~ ), I decided to go ahead and buy him. 3 I really can't wait until my little Ender comes home! Buuut... I heard that some holiday was coming up and that the companies were gonna put everything on hold for a week? ;-; ... disappointing, but I guess I'll just have to wait. =w=

 

according to peakswoods, my Goon will be shipping next week. Fingers crossed!

 

I haven't heard anything about the holiday but I suppose if it is true, it has to happen - it'll all be worth the wait

 

I can't wait to see that faceup! After I went back and looked at it I thought it was gorgeous, nut it had already sold out (my wallet is relieved though).

I think a lot if the doll companies close for their New year holiday or something like that?

I paid off my Brianna last night (I couldn't hold out for the Soom Deity Lioness! Lol).

 

I'll have to spam you with piccies Britt we can trade! I love the vamp Briana faceup, but Goldie won out.

I have Goldie wake up tan skin and finally ordered a Goldie (normal version) in tan skin , she was my dreaming girl
Two payment more to finish my layaway and my Goldie comes home XDDD

I've been wanting a little Hucky for quite a while now. I just put her on layaway. I got both a normal head and a vampire one, since I couldn't decide which way to go. I love those little fangs!

I'm at 13 days waiting so far... still so long to go >o<

 

So I cracked and sent the lovely people at Peakswoods an email asking about shipping timeframes for my lovely Isolde.. (getting a wig in a birthday parcel from one of my friends REALLY didn't help the suspense! ) and they've told me she should ship around the 10th of March.

If it helps anyone at all, I ordered on the 28th of December but you also have the new year to factor in, so I hope that assists with anyone chewing their nails wondering what their timeframes are like at the moment.

We'll actually be settling on our first home purchase so I suspect it will be a busy crazy week, hopefully I can pay the darling girl some attention - in fact I'm sure she'll be a welcome distraction *lol*

Congrats to both of you I got my Vamp Goldie's eyes Friday last week.. and her wig a few days before that - I think this is actually the first time I've had sets of clothes and wigs and eyes all specifically for a doll ready to go before they get here *lol* so the wait is extruciating but it does have it's benefits

 

Lioness, haha, i'm working on the same now. XD I already have the outfit, the wig's just been ordered, and the eyes are on the way.
Same goes for me, i usually got everything after the dolls arrival. :P

I guess I should jump in here. I just put a Shaia on layaway. And luckily I did too because I lost my job right as soon as I put her on layaway. So I'm hoping to get a job soon so I can bring her home. This wait is killing me right now!!!!

 

I ordered my FOB Mori Moth mid February and the wait is already too much! She is going to be my biggest doll, so I am excited to see her. I have, of course, got a wig and clothes for her already... I can't wait until she gets here, but in the meantime I will be staring at everyone else's pictures of Peak's Wood's dolls. I think they are ALL so beautiful...

Just ordered my Peakswoods Lady Bee. I'm so excited! They character I have in mind for them is so special to me, and I just adore the Peakswoods sculpts so much! I hope the wait isn't too long. ;u; I just got out of a long wait with Migidoll, ha ha.

 

I just got my shipping notice for my Vamp Goldie! I ordered her on the 28th of December and received it last night (12th of March) if that helps with anyone's waiting timeframes. You also have to allow for the whole Christmas, New Year and week break they had in there too so all in all not so bad!

 

That is soooooo cool lioness!!! Since we agreed to.take pictures for each other, I guess I will be getting a few extra (until my girl comes! Lol!).

I got her delivered to my work and she's sitting here next to me on my desk. The only problem is I'm not allowed to open her until I get home because she was my birthday present from my other half. Meanie... :P *lol*

So just 4 more hours and I can spam you all.. I can't tell you how torturous not opening her is.. and my birthday was a month and a half ago so think I'd waited long enough as is. But so be it, I see the logic behind the argument and am respecting his request.

Well I don't normally buy expensive outfits because I can very rarely justify it but I lashed out on an Indigo Fer for this lovely girl and I've wanted a Fer since I started with BJDs 6 years ago so it's a bit of a big deal *lol* so I suspect you may be right, she'll be rather spoiled
