PeaksWoods Waiting Room

I too have received the notification that my Han is on his way home. The tracking number didn't appear to work on any site for almost a week but yesterday it gave a sign of life, and in less than a blink he's already on a plane

 

I wonder if everyone has received the notice of their order of the anniversary event? I got Vampire Mona in normal skin as gift and wonder if anyone has photos of normal skin? Since I want to send the head straight to artist but not sure if I like normal skin enough to keep her

 

I caved in the anniversary sale and ordered Lune the Dark Elf in Urban Brown, very excited to get my tanned vampire boy hoping he doesn’t take the full 100+ days to arrive!

 

Ohhh can't wait to see him!! I have an emerald Dark Elf Lune and an Urban Brown Lemon that arrived this year -- your boy is going to be super amazing with that color ❤️

 

Oh! I had your post on my tabs for ages! I was using it to reference if I liked the colour alongside the sculpt haha

 

I finally paid off my layaway for my Peaks Woods Red from Denver Doll. I can't wait for her to come home!

 

My Red came today! I took a few quick pictures and I just love her face and the suntan skin tone.

I'm getting an emerald green V. Lady Bee with the Forest Spirit make up. And because this is Peakswoods I also decided to get the hands blushed. She's so cute, I wasn't a mega big fan of the other two limited faceups, but Lady Bee looked perfect
Now fir a long wait...

 

I paid off my layaway for Miro Blossom. Now to wait patiently for her to come home.

@EagleVision1999 eeek! I’m guessing you didn’t use layaway? I ordered a green v. Lady Bee with her limited faceup too but I just finished paying her off this month, so I’ll be waiting a while still! I hope you share a picture so I can live vicariously! Congrats!

 

@blackcat87 No, I paid in full (since I was waiting for another round of FOB I was prepared).
She's left the airport! Can't wait to actually have her! I have eyes prepared and I chose to get a random wig with her, but no clothes because I expected a longer wait time. But I'll find something.

PW is shipping the MSD head I won in their photo contest this week. I have no clue which one it's gonna be and I am SO stoked to learn!

 

Oh yay!! Honestly any one of their sculpts would be amazing

 

First time ordering from PW and I have to say that they're super fast! Ordered my fullset of their Dokkaebi Goyo on October 10th and despite having a 4-month-layaway (which I finished on January 15th) he arrived today (March 28th). I'm impressed! I'm used to much longer waiting times haha

 

Just placed an order for an a Little Mimi Crow in Urban Brown. I loved the dark lipped face up, but I was deadset on getting her in urban brown, so I'm going to try doing something similar when I get her.

I also got my Misty a few weeks ago! She's beautiful.

 

Placed an order for a Romi this morning. I'm... very excited.
It's been years! A long time since I've ordered direct from a company, and I've never been in the position to buy a full doll before. Never selected a factory faceup before, either! I'm in love with the RabbitHolic faceups and chose the Little Rosemii Blossom one. Seriously thrilled to be reentering the dollie hobby~ Words can't describe. So stoked.

 

@hollyholly Congratulations and welcome back to the hobby!!! Romi is an adorable sculpt, and is on my long list of Peakswoods dolls to obtain. Their faceups are immaculate, too, so I'm sure Romi will look amazing with the Rabbitholic faceup!!!

My Romi has shipped! Woohoo!!!

 

She arrived SUPER fast, a couple of weeks ago. I've been working on her a bit and figuring out her look. Her faceup is darker than I was expecting - kind of a silent film actress look, rather vampy sultry meets innocent It Girl. I love it!! It gives me loads of ideas for her. But because her whole vibe is different from what I originally had in mind for her, she's taking longer than expected to come together. When she does, I'll post pics in the discussion thread!

 

She sounds beautiful! She was the first PW doll I ever wanted but there were so few owner pictures of her sculpt that I chickened out… I own 3 different FOB girls now, but still always go back to thinking about Romi! I can’t wait to see what you do with her.
