I just received my shipping notice for my FoC order! My Goldies are coming home!

 

Longer than I expected, and will never entertain the idea of such a long layaway again. My order is fully paid now the wait and the gathering of things may start.

 

So sorry I did not update but paid my layaway so now we do the waiting game

Got a shipping notice for my Dotty Muse this morning!

 

Squeeee - September dolls are shipping *happy dance* no change in my status yet but it must be sooo close!!

 

I forgot to update when my Dotty Muse arrived! I also just realized apparently I had forgotten to note heel feet when I ordered (even though I meant to get them), so I didn't get them after all. Oh well!

@whitewings I'm sure your Dotty Muse is coming soon~ just a few more weeks!

 

I just got a shipping notice for my Peak's Woods FOC body. Hopefully she gets here soon!

 

They tried to deliver her yesterday but somehow I missed it despite being home all day, so I picked her up from the post office today.

 

I'm waiting for FOC Dandy Kass, I have two other payments to do for him, aaah.

 

Forgot to update that I've paid off my Hunky Dory

 

Oooh, can't wait to see what the urban brown looks like in owner photos! I bet she'll look amazing!

They seem to be on a 4 month turnaround right now. Hopefully in a week or so for you. I figure that means it'll be end of April for my Goldie and end of May for my Mia. It's so hard to wait, especially after a long layaway. I know they are doing the best they can though, and I'm very grateful that they offer long layaways.

 

Hopefully shipping notices come for November orders really soon! I'm so anxiously excited!

Hey guys, just adding my details in there since I got my shipping notice tonight, I have a guaranteed delivery date of the 11th of March, but I'll wait til she arrives before I put that in.

 

After going from the northern most part of the country to the southern most point I picked her up this morning. 2nd SD girl obtained
I hope more notices come up soon.

 

Getting very excited - I had an e-mail from PW, my girl is finished and ready but they were still waiting on shoes from 9nineStyle to arrive so apparently she ships next week!!! *Squeeeeeee*

 

@Zest, it looks like they're shipping November orders right now - so about a four month turnaround? Congrats on your Keith!

@lioness - Ohh Congrats! I'd love to see some photos of her if you get the chance, I haven't seen many Halloween FoBs around.

@Zest - Congrats on your first PW order!! I also succumbed and ordered Keith the Beast today, I got him in urban brown skin though. He is such a wonderful sculpt, I too love how his nose is a bit different than regular Keith - a bit more "snout-like".

@redfeathers Thank you! Four months isn't too bad, a typical turn-around time, really! (I'm still waiting on my Dollshe order and it just passed the 5 month mark )

@faireva That's exactly what I liked about him, too! And the underbite too I thought was really unique as opposed to the usual "vampire" look.

 

Not bad at all! I waited nine months for my Soom Heliot haha. Of course, I'm still impatient for my Viyol to arrive... I hope she's here in time to come with me to the Peakswoods booth at the PNW Doll Expo!

 

Did a little bit of housekeeping on the list and added my shipping date - she should arrive here in Hawaii just as I get on a blasted plane to Australia *eyeroll* lucky I'm only gone for a literal 42 hours including flying time both ways....

 

Just updated that I finally obtained my girl. USPS told me they did not have the package and yet it was still there at their facility. It was held there for few weeks and I filed a claim and whoosh! Got called in and said the package is still there.

In other news.... my Dotty Muse arrived today and I have to say - this is a first for me.
Stunned speechless admiration for the magnificence of her painting and composition. I'm utterly in love!!! Box opening in due course.... and will post some gallery shots when I get a minute at work

 

Just finished off Paying my layaway for my Keith and Kass Heads~! Cant wait for them to arrive so i can do there face ups and make there wigs! My brother characters will finally be on there way to being maaaadeeee~!!!!!

 

My Rosemii has just been shipped after 4 months! I can't wait to get her home!

 

I put a Keith the Beast on layaway last month and never added him to the list!

 

So my Keith and Kass Heads Arrived today! I'm Happy and annoyed at the same time. as much as I love peakswood's I have two complaints. 1 - Can they Pleeeeaaassseee either downsize the boxes they use or put more packaging inside. When I opened my box up there was packaging but there was a whole side without it :/ really I mean its surely not that expensive to just put some extra bubble wrap in there? or if not bubble wrap then newspaper for crying out loud *sighs*

My 2nd issue is that, has anyone else noticed that the Keith and Kass heads are exactly the same except one has smaller eyes and less of an eye lid? I mean I knew the two were similar... but this is to the point where they were probably the same sculpt at one point and someone just edited the eyes a bit. :/

I don't know Maybe I'm just too picky but at the same time for $150 per head, I think its allowed. Oh well either way there still perfect for my characters I'm gonna make them into. However I would like to state that I hate parcel force with all my being, they make me pay a custom fee for £28 (including their admin fee of like £13 something), which isn't bad, but then they bring the box to my door with a hole in the side... yeah me and them are gonna be having words.

My Viyol arrived today! She's the only grey Viyol I've seen on the board, so I'll try to post some arrival photos later today

 

I got my shipping notice for Keith the Beast this morning! Yay! I also got an extra Keith head for which I plan to have the eyes modded open, as my Keith will have a dual nature inspired by Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.

 

The Beasty arrived today! Since it was a Saturday, this was the first time I was at home when the mail carrier arrived to deliver a doll, it was so convenient. I love Keith sculpt, he looks great, and the new skin tone is amazing - the shipping was super fast this time!

 

Hey everyone, has anybody else had trouble with Peakswoods not sending out their doll on time? Mine should have shipped at the latest sometime early June, and now it's July. The status hasn't changed, and I've tried sending a few emails to their contact email, and my mail program is telling me they can't deliver. Am I the only one?

 

@Betheratgirl they try their best to make it within the 3-4 months, but with events and stuff they don't really know how many orders they'll get. Also, always contact them through their Q&A board because their e-mail get full very fast. They usually answer on their Q&A board within 24 hours. ^^
So yeah, they probably haven't received your e-mails. :/

In the same vein of things being shipped, anyone else order from Denver Doll and have a time frame on them? I didn't know Peakswoods offered their own layaway plans so I just went with DDE T__T

 

Wow, I've been gone for ages from this thread/forum in general, I nearly forgot I was still waiting on a doll from PW o_o
I just sent them a message too to ask where she's at as it's been a while since I finished the layaway and I didn't remember it taking so long. How is everyone doing I saw the new event for the frog prince and Hunky Dory is so adorable!

 

@Kawachu Who did you put on layaway? I love hunky dory I think she looks so cute! I wish I could get her but I need to be good for the meantime ( I hate being good sometimes ).

 

I paid my Mad Hatter up in Feb and still no sign of him, so I am now at the 5 months mark. I didn't want to pester them, but think I might need to ask them too

 

Ah it's my Vampire Goldie from the last FOC event from like April 2015.....it's been ages omg XD

I messaged PW (I had paid up for Goldie beginning of April) and they replied that she'd be sent in August, so I think your Madhatter should come home soon. You should ask them even if it's just so you know, I don't think they'd mind.

i just got an email back from DDE and they said they're still waiting on orders from DECEMBER to be shipped D:
i guess i just have to completely forget i even ordered anything

 

I don't know when they shipped out my Kass to me, but he's at my friend place and I can't go to take him. This is so unfair. I'm dying. It's 15 minutes by car. aaaah!
