Payment Paypal not sending notification of payment received?

Yes, I have also noticed this especially in the last month or two. It is not only with recieving money but also sending. I had a situation where I sent a large sum of money to someone and I didnt get my "You have sent a payment" notice, and the person receiving didn't get theirs. It was very stressful for me. Paypal was very good about it before, but no longer.

 

I have also experienced this.. sometimes even when you bid you dont receive notice nor when you pay thru paypal you dont get one either had it happen as well..

I had a situation last night, I sent out two payments within about 10 minute of one another (LOL! What? I am a shopoholic, shush! ), and the second payment's email went through immediately, the first payment's email came about two hours later. Very disconcerting as the first payment was much less than the second, LOL! So I know it's not payment amount or anything. Very strange! But the first thing's already had a shipping notice sent, so I know they actually received the money no problem, I don't know what to make of it, maybe a change in their email system's plaguing them?

Yes same here about 2 weeks ago but I have not had too many transactions thus not sure when it really started to do that

Maybe there a new setting so we have to go change it in the profile??

 

Same problem here. Just made an ebay purchase and no PP
message. But last week I made a credit payment and it's still
at pending but also no proof (by mail) that I made it at all.
Very frustrating to have to log in and out add on top of that
worrying....it's good to know I'm not alone but yet not good @
all I really hope if it's a "known" problem that they fix it soon.
I'd love to say that I might not use them anymore...but we all
know that ain't gonna happen

 

Hm.. that's strange, luckily i didn't experience this.
Last week and the week before, I've sent 2 payments out through Paypal and i got instant notifications for both of them.
Well, hopefully they'll fix it soon whatever it is.

 

I had this happen two weeks ago. I almost did not send a doll out because I hadn't gotten the email. I checked paypal to double check an address and that's when I found the payment had indeed been made.

 

Yup, just experienced this myself tonight while waiting for another DoA member to send me payment (she said she'd send it straight away). Turns out she did send it straight away, but Paypal never sent any kind of notification >__> It's the first time it's happened for me. I still get notifications when I buy stuff and use Paypal to pay for it though; just no notification when people send me money.

 

Mine came through fine for a Layaway item someone was paying for. :/

 

Is the problem with payments for goods, or personal payments, or both?

 

I'm going to assume payment for goods... since my buyer didn't send a personal payment to me, and the last two payments I got off people (not doll-people on this forum) were personal payments/gifts and I got notifications for those payments.

 

This happened to me today for the first time... I'm glad I had looked at this thread or I would have been pretty panicked!

 

just had this happen to me also today it's a good thing the person who bought from me told me they sent the payment or I wouldn't have known

 

I've noticed this for a while as well, I figured it was just me. I am very glad to know that it's not only me who is experiencing this. I've also noticed if you're transferring money between your bank account and Paypal account you're no longer getting the notices you used to about the money transfer.

 

It has happened to me too!! First, when I didn't received a notification for a payment received, I thought it was some mistake and that was all. But recently, I sent a payment and I never got a confirmation neither. So I just saw this thread and it's really something going on!! T__T

What Rikka_Mika said it's true too!! No longer notifications for anything!
