Sewing Patterns for SD/SD13 boys

Nov 28, 2018

      Hi all!

I just bought my first SD boy a couple of days ago (well, he's on layaway...) and I'm trying to save money where I can, like most of us. I'm only buying his eyes (uv resin isn't doing so hot here in wintertime or I'd make them too) and shoes, which I'm purchasing next week. But his wig and clothes, I'm going to make as many as I can.

So, his style is a little nerdy and seriously comfy with fitted jeans and lots of baggy sweaters and cardigans. The patterns I'm looking for should fit SD/SD13/DELF/SuperGem I believe... not 100% on the supergem. So if you can find these patterns free somewhere please post links. I'd be most appreciative!

      Patterns Needed:
      Jeans----- Found here
      Sweater
      Cardigan
Sweatshirt----- made myself by enlarging a pattern for my girls
      Collered shirt

(I'm also teaching myself how to knit, so that eventually I can make him some nice knitted sweaters in the future. But I'm not really comfortable with it now.)

As I don't have the body (old CustomHouse, pre 2011) I can't just make my own, which is what I'd do for my other dolls. So, when he gets here, I can use tutorials like Ragdoll's. But I'd like something that doesn't require the body so he has something when he gets here. Cause he'll be naked. And cold. Cause it's cold here XD

      Thank you!

      Edit: Adding a pattern request

Updating my own adventures today. I found a pattern for supergem sized pants. I'm hoping that they'll fit my boy. And as for his tops, I made him a sweater-ish sweatshirt by taking a top I made for my girls and back patterned it. Then I added some girth and length to make it roomier.

I'm still looking for help to find existing patterns of the pieces listed in the first post, but I'm also running into a wall with researching myself. As I find/draft a pattern, I'll mark off the patterns and add links/ maybe give measurements and directions of how I made the pieces.

      Thanks!
