patterns for realfee

Aug 24, 2018

    1. Knitting/ crochet patterns needed for realfee bjd, please.
This is my very first post on DoA and I'm very nervous

    2. If you have a Ravelry account (they're free and easy to make) there's some realfee knitting patterns on there! I searched these forums for "realfee" in the patterns forum, and didn't find much.

But there is also resizing a pattern, which you may have to do with some: How to Resize a Knitting Pattern

@Daisychain27 and I just saw that for those seeking patterns they can't find in this subforum should ask in the Styling & Crafting forum! I didn't realize that myself :)

    3. I don't know how experienced of a knitter, crocheter you are. I just work without patterns, finding the gauge with a certain yarn and needle and then measuring legs etc... one fun bit about working for dolls is their size makes the project not take very long so redoing is not a big deal.

searching here under the workshop heading there is a lot to look at as well tho I still get lost in the searching for specifics. using the search tools on specific areas sometimes helps...as in workshop -patterms - crochet - then search realfee at that point. which I tried this morning but did something wrong and the search ended up showing me your question again : )

DOA is a very safe and welcoming space.

I am very fond of realfees. which ones live with you?

    4. Hi, thank you so much, took me a while to find you both.
I shall certainly have another look on ravelry of which I've been member a few years but very hard to find realfee patterns.
I have one, a gorgeous Pupu I love her face but wanted something fairy like for her, out of the ordinary.
I both knit and crochet, have done for more years than I care to remember, I'm not very good at making my own patterns but often cobble different patterns into something I like.
So nice to hear from you both, and shall certainly follow your advice :)

Hi, thank you for reply :))
I have a Realfee PuPu, she has a very cute face, unusual and different from other dolls,I think anyway :))
I'm not sure if my first reply reached you, still trying to find my way about.
I both knit and crochet, for my children in the past and up till recently my grandchildren, now I'm concentrating on my PuPu plus Pukpuki and cheeky Realpuki SoSo.
Im not good at making up my own patterns but, tend to add bits and pieces from different ones and change them about to suit.
For PuPu I would like something special, at present I am adjusting a Ginny crochet pattern to fit, looking good so far :)) I would like something special that suits the doll herself but search tho I might, I'm unable to find anything :(
I thought I'd ask DOA for help :)

Hi, many thanks, I have searched Ravelry but they always come back with, no match, I'm problerly doing something wrong :( I do like to take bits from different patterns to make something slightly different.
At present I am crocheting an old Ginny lace dress pattern, adjusting it to fit. Im quite pleased with it so far but would rely love to find a pattern made just for my Realfee PuPu. I call her my second hand rose at present, poor girl :))

    5. @Daisychain27 The Ravelry search function can be a pain, but if you search for realfee in projects and not patterns, a bunch of results pop up. Mostly completed projects by @Wovenflame along with the details of what pattern was used.

    6. I have heard that Blythe clothing works for realfees, tho i haven't tried this myself.

    7. Thankyou, I did think of trying Blythe patterns,I have some lovely ones. At present I am crocheting a dress from The Ginny Doll Pattern Book 7, adding a bit of width/ length, seems to be working out okay :)
Will try out Blythe patterns and let you know how it goes :))

Great, finaly I got there with your help :) I have all Wovenflame patterns for my Pukpuki, they are so easy to adapt too.
I must be more adventures in my searches I think... early New Years resolution :))
      Many thanks :))
