Here's a jeans pattern, sized to fit an I.O.S. (Immortality of Soul) Class 70 BJD. You need to cut two mirrored version of each piece except the waste-band. The waste-band gets folded in half lengthwise. The double lines on the edges of each piece indicate the seam allowance which is 5 mm. I have two versions of the pattern, both PDFs. The first is split to print on four letter-sized pages: http://www.armik.one/…/IOS-Class-70-Jeans-v1-Letter-Size.pdf The second version is one large page. Most PDF Readers will allow you to print this tiled to fit whatever paper sizes you have available: http://www.armik.one/BJD/Patterns/IOS-Class-70-Jeans-v1.pdf The basic pattern I started with came from the following website: http://selfpattern.alwaysdata.net/
Wow, that looks great and as if it is not too difficult. Although I do not own an IOS 70 cm guy, I have an army of 70 cm boys who all like to wear jeans. Maybe with a little tweaking here and there, it should fit them. Anyways, thank you so much for posting this!
thank you so much for posting this ive have been struggleing with jeans for ever x.x these are a little big buut i can tweak
I did a quick and dirty try of this pattern. I just eyeballed the printout size to fit the waist to ankle length of my fashion size Dollshe David, The pattern looks good for his legs (nice slim skinny fit) but more room is needed for the butt area on my doll. This would work for a very slim hip doll. Nice pattern! All I need to do is slash and spread the pattern for a little bigger hips and derriere, Thank you! Amanda is trying the jeans too shown here. I think I will draft a curved waist band for a better fit at the upper hip/low waist area. amanda jeans pattern trial by Linda, on Flickr
I'm glad you found it somewhat useful. I think I got lucky when I created this pattern. It came from an online pattern generator and I scaled it using only one measurement for width and one for height. It fit my IOS 70 body on the first try. But when I scaled it down even further to make jeans for my Migidoll Cute 43 it did not fit at all. I had to adjust it a lot to fit his thighs. It took three attempts to get it right. I haven't bothered to post this MSD version because I've learned now it probably won't fit anything other than a Cute43 and they are so rare.
I am glad you saw this! Thanks again for the pattern. I went to the site and saw some other patterns to try. The lines on the patterns are nice. I have been tweaking this pattern to fit my doll's big butt and had some success. I cut through the pattern vertically and horizontally at the butt apex (with the yoke lined up with the lower back leg) and spread a little bit to create more room. Here is the second try. amandajeans2 by Linda, on Flickr I made the front pocket draft and will try a final finished pair on jeans. Amanda will be happy. She has been wanting jeans for a long time.
Thank you so much for this pattern! Tinyseams, that print is adorable and your pants turned out amazing. I'll hopefully post my results tonight!!
