Open Pathy's Dolls Face-up

Welcome on my face-up thread ! ^_^​

I'm Pathy and I live in France, just near Paris

I make face-up for friends and my own dolls, and I decided to open a commission post if you're interested.
I do make-up since some years now, and especially like to do very natural face-up on BJD heads.
I wish to highlight the sculpt of a head and to try to reveal its personnality.

I speak french and a quite good english (well, I think I speak quite good english ^_^)
but I could have some difficulties if you use very idiomatic expressions.
In this case, I could have to ask you to explain a little your mind…

I could make face-up on every size of heads but I do my best on big ones.

THINGS I CAN DO FOR YOU :​

– Very natural face-up
– Freekles, sun spots…
– Beard, mustache…
– Eventually sophisticated make-up for lady
(simply ask if you have an idea in mind and we will discuss)
– Body blushing, manucure, pedicure.

THINGS I DO NOT MAKE :​

– modification on head : I don’t open eyes or pierce ears, I don’t know how to do that
– fantasy make-up, heavy tattoos
– scarifications, piercing.
– Copying other artist face-up
– Additions to pre-existing face-up or any of my previous works.

MATERIALS USED :​

– Pastels (Schminke, Sennelier, Unison Color)
– Watercolour pencils (Faber-Castell and Derwent) and paints (Winsor & Newton)
– MSC flat
– Liquidex mat and gloss varnish, Tamyia very gloss varnish sometimes for lips.
– pure acetone to remove faceups

I don’t use aerograph.

PRICES AND SERVICES :​

Because each head and each face-up is unique, there won’t be an unique quote.
But there are some of my prices :
– basic make-up : $90 (whatever the size of the head, the amount of work is the same for me)
– additionnal specification like beard or freekles : $20 (it's very time consumming, so the price, sorry)
– Body blushing : $60 (I reserve the right to refuse a body blushing because it's not what I like to do the most)
– Manucure : $20
– Pedicure : $20

Face-up removal is free and included unless it is very hard to erase.
I don’t glue eyelashes and I don’t furnish ones. Don’t ask, please.

Shipping cost to send your head back has to be added to the price. You have to furnish a good packet and your own facemasks, because I do not have extras.
I ship with tracking option and insurance. Unfortunately, french post is quite expensive but the service is good. Depending of the weight of the packet, but it could be around $35 for a head. I will adjust the price to your location.

I’m located in France. You can declare a price for your parcel but pay attention that any price above $50 would be subjected to customs fees. If you send your head through EMS, the customs will be obligatory applied due to our local carrier. If possible, avoid to use EMS to send me your dolls.
If I have customs fees to pay, I will have to ask you to refund me the cost of the customs I would have to pay.

HOW TO COMMISSION ME :​

I open few slots at once as I haven’t a lot of free time to do face-ups, unfortunately.

There is an average of 4 slots by month, and I need one to two months to end a face-up according to the complexity of what you wish.

I will write on several medias when I will open slots and for what month.
The rule is First comes, first serves.

You can join some pictures if you need something very specific, but I prefer to keep my freedom. It’s like that I give my best. ^_^

Don't worry, we will precise by mail what you are looking for.

Once the face-up will be finished, I will send you some pictures by mail. Pay attention that I can’t make heavy modifications on my work once it’s done. I could add some freekles for instance but cannot erase them.

If really you don’t like my work, I erase totally the head and send it back to you for half of the commission (shiping is still your charge). But fortunately, this never happened ! ^_^
