Well she is lovely @Cherylsdolls even if her head and body have parted company for now!

I hear you @Blablette, I'm feverishly saving now too.... just have to make my mind up between original size Pulse, Sanity or another Breathe!!!!

 

@vonbonbon There are two months to decide, but indeed, they can fly past us like this!

 

I can’t decide what size I want Sanity in AH! I have a mini breath but a full size sanity sounds fun.

 

My saving hit a pleasant stumbling block! I accidentally ordered a blank Simply Beautiful Pulse yesterday. They said the numbers were very limited so I hope I actually get one. I had a mini Breathe for a short while but found the shoulders less useful at the smaller size, so the SB version will work better for me. Now have to start saving again for a full size doll.... but who will it be?

 

Did you go for White Bone this time? The orders from June of the big girls will be shipping in two weeks so you will have to quickly water the money tree to grab one from the MP. I can’t actually remember what I ordered so it will be a surprise.

 

@redastor there was only one skintone available this time, Pulse with small bust in Milk with blood. My money tree has wilted and possibly is beyond saving, all down to dolls! I'm surprised that the order is still open as they said the dolls were in stock and only a limited number. So funny that you forgot what you ordered! Did you go for a different sculpt this time, I wonder...well, so do you! Hee hee. Well, it will be a nice surprise. She is releasing a new head soon too

 

As you know, I did a huge sell off of everything including the kitchen sink for that order and half lost what was left of my mind in the process although I recall ordering many extra hands.. Well obviously in March we will need another collective money tree growth dance to acquire the new headed large girl. For me it will Ebony next if the new head is wonderful.

I hope the SB wins your heart Yve. I also popped her in my cart then looked in the fridge and decided on eating instead

 

Eating... pahhhh!!!! Yves, I'm surprised you even think of such things when there are dolls out there in the world still and not in your house. I like to think I am saving them from a cruel fate.... just not sure who will save me

I'm in love, painted her yesterday and can't stop looking at her...even without a wig or clothes she definitely is Simply Beautiful.... i thought Breathe was my favourite but it's definitely Pulse!

 

Thank you for posting her photo. I got one a few months ago and couldn't bond with her as I find her features a bit hard, but what you've done with her gives me hope. How did you manage to spray her in this weather?

 

@Hugo thank you I did it yesterday before the storm really hit. I made a spray booth out of an old cardboard box, it works pretty well if you need to go outside to spray I just cut a hole halfway up the front and halfway across the top so you get an angled spray window.

 

What a great idea. I have some big boxes which I kept for future projects. I knew they'd be useful one day.

 

@Hugo, yes but remember it's best not to use the box the cat has already claimed unless you want hairy dolls

 

Right, I'm with you. I painted a doll a while back with an iridescent bronze paint. To my horror I discovered a tiny fleck of a hair on the dolls face. Tried to sand it out, that didn't work. Had to remove paint and start all over again. I took the boxes apart and put them under the bed in a spare bedroom. They're safe there.

I have a PashaPasha original from 2 years ago, and it seems she's still using the same eyes.

 

Her name is Bleusette an i am charmed by her presence. Original size. blue blood half lidded pulse

 

she's fabulous Sha, you were lucky to find her.
Is her colour a very strong blue or does it depend on the light.

 

Many thanks for responding. My apologies for not replying sooner. The eyes I got with mine are similar to the ones she's using on her video. Unfortunately they look rather cheap and the colour is a horrid shade of blue.

 

I know legrand doll was making realistic eyes for both pasha original and minis for a while but I'm not sure if her store is closed on etsy due to the coronavirus or if it's a permanent thing.

 

its a beautiful shade of blue. and depending on light can appear different in photos.. but the the first photo i listed with the black wig. is true to her color in person. .. i sm in love with the blue blood color now. though i do have the other colors. im thinking this one is my fav.

 

Has anyone tried to make a male version? I love the sculpt but definitely see a more masculine character for my collection.

I recently received my Pulse in BlueBlood, after I sold my Milk And Blood version a while ago.
I like the blue colour better, although it is paler than I expected.

Love your BlueBlood Pulse and her glamorous dress. She does look a gorgeous shade of blue. This is the only colour I haven’t got in these dolls so I would love to add one to my collection sometime in the future.

Do you think there is a difference in the blue based on the generation of the body? Or is it monitor, face up, etc? I agree that your girl seems lighter than some I've seen, and I have to admit I love it LOL. I ordered a SD body and and an MSD head as mine was a hybrid, so Pasha was helping me create two separate dolls. I don't collect MSD so will sell the smaller doll, but will wind up with my full SD sized girl in the long run. An Instagirl I think will be in my future someday, she does really amazing stuff with those ladies.

 

She's beautiful! Does the Gen 2 body come with flat and heeled feet?

I didn't realise she had flat feet now either, might make footwear a bit easier to find.

 

Thanks so much @moggyuk I do love for my dolls to be barefoot at times! They are just as characterful as the heel feet, those big toes are just crazy.... looks like she could wear rings too!

 

I've seen Pasha put rings on her fullset dolls, I really hope she starts selling them in her shapeways store

I can't really answer that question, other Blue Blood girls do also have heavier face-ups and body blushing.

Im trying to find whose clothes can fit the original size. besides Pasha anyone know if any other sd clothing fit this size.. TIA

 

I'm hearing that Serenade Dolls clothing fit, also Bimong, and MK dolls art on etsy makes really good quality stuff and they are reasonably priced clothes (I bought a pair of jeans from her and I absolutely love them - let me know if you want to see a picture).

 

On etsy I have bought from DollsSymphony SoraBJDFashion and elenpriv all make items specially to fit Pasha dolls.

My Pasha dressed in elenpriv clothing with shoes by DollsSymphony.

MegFashiondolls on etsy also makes clothes for them, as well as phantomdolls on flickr, I simply contacted her about dresses through flickr mail.
I read on Instagram that someone made clothes for Minigenue and they fit PashaPasha.

that is so pretty love the design and print.. i wish i could sew for them. maybe its time to break out my sewing machine and give it a go.. in the meantime a little Purple for the day. Avril thank you for sharing your lovely girl dressed in ElenPriv clothes i was wondering how the jacket looked on the Original size girls.. i will have to check out DollSymphony too and see what they have in shoes. I changed all my girls to flat feet however and im finding only Pasha does one style in flat feet for them. which i have but it would be nice to find more shoes that fit the flat feet. on both mini and Original.. any one have ideas?
